Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. Did anyone see the 2 Russian chicks step out of bounds during the floor exercise yesterday or the Chinese chick fall off the balance beam? I figure at least one member of each Russian chicks family has been killed and they will be sold to a fat ugly American as a mail order bride. But the poor Chinese chick, her whole family was probably killed, and she will be shipped to a San Francisco massage palor. Where she will be giving happy endings for the rest of her life, $5 extra for handy and $10 extra for sucky sucky.

Happy Monday,

Took second place in the golf outing on Saturday.  One of my buddies managed to fall out of a golf cart.  It was the first time he was drunk in probably a year. I didn't see it happen, but he had a huge grass stain on his shoulder.  Awesome.  Glad he's back drinking....he provides lots of lulz when he's boozing.

My cousin saw Starlin Castro and Alfonso Soriano Saturday night at the casino in the burbs.  They were both sloshed and yelling stuff in Spanish to a group of hot a*s women.  Here's Starlin - dude is a boss.

Straight up chillaxed like a G all day yesterday.  Cooked up some Vienna hot dogs and burgers, made some mac & chizzle, mashers, and okra.  HAYS.  Oh yeah, my boy Rizzo had the first walk off of his career at any level.  Get some, Cardinals.  Break up the Cubbies - 12-3 in their last 15 home games and 17-10 since Rizzo (future MVP) was called up.

I'll end by saying I told you before...but I'll tell you again.  Cutty to Marshall is going to be LETHAL.  Earl "Da Pearl" Bennett is going to beast folks as well.  And let's not even factor in the running game.  Giggity!

Happy Monday All- hope everyone stayed dry---US Swimming team pissed me off- freakin Ryan Lochte blew the gold in the  relay and how does the reigning women world champion in gymnastics not get a bye to participate in the all-around. On a happier note congrats to Dana Vollmer in shattering a new WR and the Silver Synchro Diving Team- 1st medal in 12 years-----how many more days to football?

Morning.

This is the last week of summer school. Then it IS on --------------getting my school supplies shopping done. Why this stuff goes on sale earlier and earlier each year I'll never know, but I still dig finding and scoring big time deals.

So I was in Oregon last week. I had a great time---saw a wedding, took a couple Jager shots (mark it down because the nephews paid),  ate some awesome gluten free chocolate penis cake..........with sorbet, berry picked, waterfronted it-----speaking of which...........I saw Obama's motor brigade shut down the bridge, attended Oregon's Brewer Festival (where I am forced to agree with Ashlie and her opinion of IPAs, but I sure did spend 4 tokens for a full mug of Raspberry Crush by 10 Barrel Brewing Co....hmmmmm....there were others but this one was my favorite), stopped at Voodoo Doughnuts, and played with the best little nephew and mutts around. (Also worth mentioning ......I witnessed an old lady smoking crack down the street from the doughnut place.)

Oh....and this came on Saturday..........I watched it twice!

Have a grand day. Peace in the Middle East! (Oh...and Lainey......you take back your harshly written words about Hotty Lochte.....that's NOT his event and French dude turned in one heck of a time.)

i was watching a lot of the gymnastics this weekend and there's some "go" buzzer that sounds exactly like comedy central "bleep" and i couldn't get used to it. i kept thinking either the announcers or the tiny little gymnasts have some of the foulest mouths ever.

i hit a huge milestone! actually i hit like two milestones (with one bird) on saturday.

english steve's bon voyage was yesterday. i'd be sad, but he's coming back in a few weeks apparently...for good. my liver is nervous.

my aunt, her two kids and her common law husband came down this weekend from iowa. craig actually opened up a conversation with "so, i slaughtered some pigs the other day and i brought y'all a ton of hocks and chops!" i have never been so aware of tasty meat once having been live animals before.

Watched Olympics with my cuz who was basically doing the wikipedia deal for each athlete/event. Much more entertaining than the crappy fluff pieces NBC drops in between races or whatever. I hate the human interest stories, but love the quirky facts. They should have random stuff about the athletes with pop-up video bubbles during the competitions ("His favorite soda is RC Cola." "She's afraid of clowns." "Her mom hosts Good Morning Bulgaria." etc.) and just get rid of the announcers. The only piece of info that got a rise out of me was that they "shot live pigeons during the 1900 Paris Olympics." <--- LOL!

Lolo is clearly going to medal at Twitter, she kills me. hahahahahahahahahaha

Completely agree on some of those other ladies events. Women's beach volley ball is WAY overrated - lotta pre-pubescent body types out there. Just sayin'. This field hockey team needs pop-up video facts during play. Relationship status, turn ons, favorite cocktail. Twitter handles. I need to produce the 2016 games.

...or just have Playboy coordinate the "official" Olympic photo sessions. Tasteful, no full frontals, (a more provacative ESPN mag Body Issue thing) much more interesting than the mug shots they take now, right? Maybe get Terry Richardson involved? Then instead of collecting pins and badges at the village, athletes could trade cards w/ quirky bios like baseball cards. Also put 'em up for sale online. Let these amateur athlete make a little extra coin. WIN-WIN.

You're hot damn right it's a WIN-WIN.  The only thing I disagree with is the notion of having no full frontals (for the females).  They deserve to show off every inch of those fine sculpted bodies IYAM.  We should also hold a bikini contest during the closing ceremonies.  You know....for the kids?

Was going to edit my first post, but it was a classic, so New Post in...

-  I must come with new vocab for this set...I have been warned!
-  To watch the Olympics, one must realize - the athletes are bigger, stronger and faster...and who cares what they are tweeting about??  NBC and Seacrest on what are the most tweeted subjects during the Opening Ceremonies??  Who wonders about that crap???  I am really not interested in all these folks' private lives either - can I see more live events?
-  Pizza Hut Garlic Bread Pizza is very good - but you CAN do it at home cheaper and better!!
-  Drinking is overrated...but so dayum good when someone else is buying!

Sad News - OJ Murdock of the Tenn. Titans dead of an apparent suicide (just reported)...condolences to his family, friends, teammates and fans...

Any of you other chicks (or dudes, I suppose) ever talk to a man, but he's so beautiful that you can't look him directly in the eye, so you are talking or he is talking to you but you're kinda looking everywhere but his face. And you're carrying on this conversation with no problem, but inside your head you're all "durrrr....", and then you realize that you are looking everywhere but his face and he now probably thinks you're undressing him with your eyes so you try to look again.. but f*** he's beautiful with his Matt Bomer or Tom Cavanaugh eyes. But instead of having 5'7(ish) Bomer height, he's about 6'3 and perfect. Gawd.

Just over a week before the movers come to get our stuff...then it's a whirlwind trip up and over. Bring it! (Actually I have butterflies in my tummy just thinking about it.) So, if all goes well, I will be at a Mariners game - in Seattle - and get to have gyros and spanakopita at Mr. D's on my birthday! YAY! My family and friends along the way are gonna be ticked at me because of how fast we have to make this (heading up to DC to explore before we head west is making it pretty much impossible to spend any time with anybody), but they'll have to just deal.

I have watched not one minute of the Olympics and I feel fine.

I have been trying to find non genetically modified soy beans for my sons science fair project.   We are going to
see if we can duplicate another study done in Russia, where third generation hamsters were left sterile or their
young were still born after being fed a gmo only diet.    Anyhow, even though it costs more, we all really should be eating
organic as much as possible.  Short list,,,,,,,,,corn, soy, canola oil (never) aspartame, zuchinni and yellow squash, papaya.
My theory of population control through the food supply.   Or as Bill Gates calls it "The final solution to end world hunger".

Still no signs of tetanus from the nail to the leg this weekend.  Sort of worried that my lack of health insurance could actually do me in one of these times.

People watched on the avenue with my girls yesterday over Blue Moons with orange.  Yummy on a 100 degree day.
Gonna go out and wash the Saharan dust off my car.   Someone wrote" wash me" on it.   F**kers.

Actually, I get this way all the time.  I have to remind myself to look at them while talking.  For me, it's me being shy around them. No joke!

Now, once I get to know someone with that magnitude of hotness, I have no problems looking at them while talking, but, then I notice that I am TOTALLY undressing them with my eyes. blush

Ok, so it's Monday, I'm sore as sh*t and having one beautifully busy morning

Saturday was fantastic, played baseball in the morning, hit a monster of a homerun.  We are calculating close to 480.  then went and played hockey in the afternoon.  That didn't go as well.  But finished the day off at a birthday party for my friends 2 year old twins.  Did I mention it was a goonies party? and they bought a 15' pirate ship made of cardboard on craigslist? and they dressed up as chunk (her) and sloth (him) and dressed the twins up as mama fratelli and mikey? good times
Sunday brought back to back hockey games.. as in play for an hour and a half get a break for the zamboni inbetween games, then play again.  then grabbed a quick bite to eat and had a baseball game.  That's why my body aches

I have officially gone 6 straight Rockies games without watching.  There's really no point to anymore.

Part of having a busy weekend means I didn't watch a whole lot of Olympics coverage.  Caught some gymnastics last night but that ended up being more of background noise while I worked

I really have nothing to contribute to this conversation.  I need to work on things
