Why the heck can't I change the "OTHER WHO?" to the people I am rating???  Grrr...  Why is Stafford not on this list????

True, Stafford should definitely be an option. He's definitely a top 5 QB.

Stafford is a product of playing on the same team as Megatron.  Take him away and Stafford could pretty easily be a bottom 5 QB.

I got Alex Smith as my 'Other'

Look at his stats his rookie year bro.... 13TDs, 20INTs and a 61 rating, that's Mark Sanchez territory.  IMO, he's not even the 2nd best QB in his division let alone a top 5 in the league.  He's more overrated than Phillip Rivers and Big Ben

Stats don't tell the entire story, and many QBs struggle in their rookie year. I agree that the existence of Megatron makes his job easier, but he still has to throw the ball. And if you've actually watched him play, it's clear to see that he's actually pretty damn good.

I haven't seen him play much, but I have watched him play and I always come away thinking about how good Megatron is and how much better they would be if they had even an average running game. On top of that, he was pretty unspectacular at UGA.

To each his own dude, you think Big Ben is overrated even though he has 2 rings, I think Stafford is a product of Megatron.

Agreed, I love the Lions and Stafford and I do think he his a good quarterback. But I do not think that after one full season he would be in the top 5.

Not to kick a guy while he's down, but 6 games through the season and Stafford has 5 TD's and 6 INT's and the Lions are 2-4.... Definatley sounds a lot more like a Bottom 5 QB than a Top 5 to me

Matt Cassel, Brandon Weeden, Mark Sanchez, Blaine Gabbert, Matt Hasselbeck.

Which of those guys would you take over Stafford?

Honestly, I'd definately take Matt Hasselbeck over Stafford... the knock on Hass is that his best days are behind him, but his numbers are comparable to Stafford's this year and he has a lot less to work with (i.e., no Megatron).  And I'd take Sanchez over Stafford too... he's won big playoff games and big games on the road, again, with a lot less talent around him AND probably the worst coaching in the NFL outside of Cleveland and maybe Dallas.
