Late to the party
Over the weekend I ripped through all 8 episodes of Veep (HBO) that I had totally forgot about after it debuted earlier in the year. It's fantastic! (Breaking Bad, you're next. That's really indefensible on my part. I should issue a public apology along the lines of the ones Mel Gibson releases every time he goes all 'Mein Kampf' with someone's tape recorder on. )

So, now I want some more stuff I (many of us) may have missed or are missing out on. Anything. Shows, movies, music, apps, websites, food, whatever. It's a free for all thread. Links are appreciated and spoilers gonna spoil. So we can't get worked up about it.

Capiche? Bon. Allez!

Treats-------Ciao Bella's Lemon Zest Sorbet............hmmmmmm.
I hate that I was late finding that goodness in a pint. I may stray from  ice cream ....my summer affair with this bit of heaven. AND

THESE two items from Trader joe's

Television----Awkward on MTV----I'm not late, but I think you all are. Watch it. It's good.

Craze------And later on today I'm thinking of posting an #Iseeyou tweet to new Dodger Hanley Ramirez. It's the current craze.....all the kids, vatos, cholas, etc... are doing it.

I haven't had much free time lately with all of the legal matters I'm going though, but, I was able to watch a few episodes of Season 1 of HOMELAND and loved it!

I, also, starting watching Under Cover Boss and I was able to get caught up on all of this seasons episodes of WEEDS.

- Any of the 30 for 30 ESPN docs.  My favorite (in no particular order) are: The Two Escobars, The Best That Never Was, Pony Excess, Jordan Rides the Bus, The U, Without Bias, Roll Tide/War Eagle, and Unguarded.

OK, I lied - Roll Tide/War Eagle is my favorite.  "If Auburn was playing Iraq I hope Iraq wins!  Roll damn Tide!"  That guy gets me every time.  No pro football in Bama  = the craziest sons of bitches as fans in CFB.  Just look at Toomer's Trees.

They are all fantastic though.  One thing ESPN does well is tell a story and these are certainly no exception.

I love those almonds.  I buy them online.

Lo Viste?   Ugh, just ugh.........

..I have all the seasons of Breaking Bad........OMG, Season 5 (the current and supposedly last one) is insane.  The opening scene of Episode 3 was so jaw dropping I had to have a cigarette break. That actually happens a lot during that show. Best. Ever.

Small Town Security comes on after BB, pretty funny.
Duck Dynasty, more good redneck humor.

Hmm... I usually miss all of the ones you miss. You got me to watch Luther... thank you for that... and apparently word spread like wildfire because BET did a Luther marathon a few weeks ago. :)

I just caught season 1 of Alphas. First episode was awful... got pretty good as it rolled on.

I don't think you watched Chopped, which makes you a fuel! Oh, and you should really watch Pride.

I'm still late to Homeland (but I swear I'm gonna) Breaking Bad, The Wire, and Oz.

Musically, If you haven't listened to J. Rawls Presents the Liquid Crystal Project. Try it out!

KFC chicken pot pie!
Diet Snapple Noni Berry w/ Vodka.

update: I started Breaking Bad, I think I'm up to episode 8. It's starting to grab me.
The new season teaser for Veep makes me wanna watch it now, too.
I'm gonna watch some Supernatural this weekend. It's a show that I started but I was young and doing things young girls do, and forgot all about it.

I missed the legend of the goat head at wrigley field tradition.  Supposedly Tom Ricketts got one addressed to him recently.
