To tell them or not to tell them?
Okay fellow iquers last night my daughter was over ,and was trying to get my wifes opinion on this matter. She has this lady at her work that works for her in her department, and to be kind she has terrible bad breath and wanted some advice. She says she has put some breath mints on her desk when she wasn't around and some other hints, but as of yet it hasn't seemed to help. She wanted to know if it would be tactless to come out and tell her she needs to do something about her breath or just ignore the whole situation and deal with it as best as she can.I am tactless so I told her I put it out to the "Q" nation and see what your solution would be,so what would you do in that situation or maybe you been in that situation so how did you handle it.I really do need feed back on this

Captain, your daughter should just move in with you.  She's seemingly there every day anyways.

To answer your question, I actually had this problem a few years back.  I car pooled to work with three people and one of them had terrible breath.  I'm talking hot garbage + vomit + cow manure + skunk.  He would fog up his side of the car within minutes.  The worst part?  Dude never STFU.  He yapped and yapped and yapped.  Anyways, we tried the whole "do you want some gum/mints?" and slipping them into his desk, but to no avail.  What did we do?  The girl that car pooled with us set him up on a date with a sorority sister from college that she despised, but knew she would adhere to our plan.  We had her ditch him 15 minutes into the date and send him a text explaining that his breath made her nauseous.  Was it wrong?  Hell yeah it was wrong.  But his breath got progressively better from that night on and JSwol became a much better morning person.  We only car pooled for another few months after that, but I feel like we did someone else a huge favor.

Captain what I would do is keep a bowl of mints and a bowl of peppermint patties on my desk and tell everyone to help themselves.

Tell your daughter to tell the lady this: (as your daughter speaking): I am sincerely not trying to be offensive, but since you are working with other people, your bad breath truly is. Have you seen a good dentist to check out what the problem can be since you have been enjoying the breath mints I leave on your desk daily?

Find out what the source of bad breath is. If it is what I think it is, she should be fired in no time.

Someone needs to let that lady know.  Not sure if your daughter is the one to tell her or not?  That depends on how bold your daughter is and what kind of relationship or comfortable level she has with that lady?

What ever happens, hopefully it can be done in good taste wink
I wouldn.t kiss her

look at her face quizzically as if you are searching for something.  when she asks what's wrong tell her that you are looking for the little man that is sitting on her tongue who just took a huge SH*T in her mouth.
