And while listening to more No Ceilings, I heard Wayne reference it last night. Made me happy. I love that ugly little gremlin. Anyway, we had a work mixer yesterday. They gave us 2 drink tickets each for beer and wine. My work baby mama and I ended up with about 6 extra tickets on the table :). I don't like either much so I had one pale ale something...kinda bitter and was done with that. I found people to buy me cocktails, plus we drank when we got off before we even got there. Turns out when the cars run over the Light Rail tracks, this happens. Just like the toppings containing potassium benozate, that's bad. My main goal tomorrow is to get an autograph of my sister's favorite driver, Will Power. I've only just realized how much into IndyCar she's become. I shouldn't be surprised that people are actually partisan enough to defend Clint Eastwood's rambling mess, but I am for some reason.

I didn't either. In fact, I was a little unclear as to the actual existence of a Sacramento State football team, but when you are an NMSU alum like myself, a win is a F'n win. I really didn't know this, but if I'm not mistaken, NMSU has some kind of record for the longest division 1 drought of an actual bowl win, dating back to some time in the Pre-Cactus Jack era. For the uneducated among you, that's a long f*king time. Anyhow, theres hope in Aggieland that this streak gets broken this year, and that hope isn't considered to be the drug induced ramblings of a Vegas crack whore niether. Whoda thunk it. Baggies of Aggies... We'll win this game or know the reason why. And when this game is through, We'll buy a keg of brew. And we'll drink it to the Aggies til we wobble in our shoes! Not sure exactly what the real words are to the fight song, but we all know these pretty dmn good.

However, Sunday game time is still expected to be a washout. I bought a poncho today, so eff off, Isaac. You will not be ruining the Governor's Cup for me. I'm glad our game is Sunday so Mariah and I can lay around all day tomorrow and watch football. It's gonna be a good day. Today was so busy at work and I still have some laundry and housecleaning to do. Then relaxing for the rest of the weekend....

One of the main reasons i was excited about seeing this was because it was supposed to have been filmed all in one take. I found it hard to believe but i wanted to give the director the benefit of the doubt. Sigh...the cuts were hidden well but they were there. He should have paid closer attention to the blood splatters on Olsen's chest from cut to cut. Just found out on IMDB the movie was filmed in ten 10-minute segments. The movie was a mix of "Them" (The Strangers) and "High Tension". Both of those movies were leaps and bounds better than this...but still...it's along the same line.

I was pushing a cart load of Budweiser 24 packs out onto the floor for sale and when I went through the swinging doors there were three customers right in front of the doors, so I had to stop. There was another worker right behind me, and she was talking so she didn't hear me say "Whoah!!" so she drove her cart into my right achilles tendon. Then while I was trying to move out of her way, gasping in pain, she drove it into the heel of the same foot. I managed to set the dolly down, then hobbled to the back. It hurt soooo bad, I was just sobbing. The Ass't Manager, who is also the First Aid attendant came running and grabbed me some ice and we put my foot up on a chair for half an hour with ice. I tried to work, after about 45 minutes, but I couldn't even walk, let alone move stock or stand at the till, so I went to the walk in clinic. It was my own doctor, and he was pretty disgusted that I had to fill out three different forms and wait to see him, instead of just saying "I'm hurt, I need to go home now." In any case, he said my tendon is pretty swollen, but not ruptured, thank God, and I need rest, elevation and ice. Soooo, I am sitting on my couch, feeling incredibly sorry for myself cuz it is the long weekend and I don't think I will be able to do squat :( I do get to watch NASCAR and CFL though, so I guess I can suffer. Tomorrow, I'll pull out my recliner lawn chair and bake in the sun. This isn't so bad!!!! Except my heel REALLY hurts Shots of something...

There are only 8 hours and 40 mins left, even if I went to bed now I doubt that I would get more than 4 hours of sleep. Found Sam Adams Octoberfest on my way home, mmmmmmm beer!
