Well, at the risk of being shunned....I HATE THE COWBOYS!!! In the 70's, THEY claimed to be AMERICA'S TEAM!  Well, in the 80's, with the drugs and all, they were more like SOUTH AMERICA's team. For me, the best time was when the Cowboys were BAD, because they weren't on every stinking week!  I live at the NJ Shore, and we get the Giants, Jets and Eagles every week.  On some RARE occasions (one team on a bye, one Sunday night, one Monday night) we'll get an out of market game...and it's ALWAYS DALLAS!!  Dallas could be playing a lousy team, and a big rivalry game (Rams-49ers, Packers-Vickings, Bears-Lions) might be going on...but who do we get usually?  Cowboys-Bengals, Cowboys-Seahawks.  Yes, I am a Rams fan, but there are just too many Cowboys games on "free TV".
This team sucks!

I'm pretty sure I don't need to say anything in here - everyone knows my disdain for a certain team and their general fan base (minus a few).

I do hope GB throttles the Niners and the bandwagon jumpers stfu. I like every true 49ers fan I've ever encountered, and I would love for the NFC West to become competitive all around and not be the laughing stock - but the 49er bandwagon fans that jumped on board midway last season need to just stop.

all the teams i hated suck. and i'm actually pretty damn proud of rex ryan for dropping a lot of weight (that was tough). it feels like too much negetive energy wasted. so, i got nothing until i see how the titans are doing.

i gotta say it doesn't surprise me in the least that god decided to be the defensive coordinator for his own team:

you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself, eh, jerry?

Bandwagoning on the 49ers is so VERY common around here...   Before they got good in the 80's no one, and I mean NO ONE would admit to being a niner fan.  Come 1981 and suddenly everyone claims they have been fans for life.

The Bay Area fan in general is a bandwagon fan.  The only exception to that rule have been Shark fans.  Who have been there in droves since the Cow Palace days.  I have to give honorable mention to Giants fans too.  Since they moved to the new Park they have been packing the place and the local TV ratings for the team have been through the roof for over a decade now.

Your comment goes to show just how ignorant you are! My buddies (which is extended through my high school and college friends), family and I have been following the Forty Niners since the 50's. I grew up a die hard 49er fan going through my early years with Brodie to Washington. I suffered through tough seasons and agonizing losses. But I hear what you're saying about "Bandwagon" jumpers. But you find that with every team. I'm just saying, don't throw everyone under that phrase.

Good for your buddies family and friends.  As far as Bay Area sports fans go they are in the extreme minority.  I recall a time when 49er home games were never on TV due to NFL blackout rules.  Obviously I was exaggerating to make a point.  There were some 49er fans around.  There just wasn't a fervent interest in the team.  Back then, the Raiders got all the press.  And as I said, come 1981 and all of a sudden people were strutting around donning niner gear who never wore it before.  Yes, every town has bandwagon fans.  Some more so than others.  But the niner thing was just absurd.

hey teach, time to eat your words on Notre Dame. Only school to be 4-0 while playing its rivals to start the season. Unlike the University of Sh*tty Condom Trojans, who managed to sneak in a game against THE HELEN KELLER INSTITUTE FOR THE DEAF, BLIND, AND MUTE.

Notre Dame will spank that as$ when we play you soon. Defense looks as loaded with playmakers and future Sunday stars for the first time since Lou Holtz was the head coach.

yoiu know what they say? Even a broken clock is right twice a day. G-Men get their revenge next time. Cowgirls sit home and wonder when they will get a QB who can play a meaningful game and then turn the big screen tvs on to the NFC Championship game and hear the voice next to Joe Buck to remind them of the last one

Have to wonder how much cash Jerry Jones paid off the replacement refs to win the game. some of the Cowgirls offensive linemen where using holds illegal in the MMA and in street fighting, nevermind an NFL game.
