Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Happy Thursday.
I'm so excited for more Liam Neeson.
Does anyone else love the lady M&Ms commercials w/ her boyfriend?  "I thought you loved me for my brain.... Is that milk chocolate too?"
That tickles me.
I'm also digging all of the Paul Rudd and Ray Lewis commercials. I need to go get my copy of Madden, btw.
Speaking of, are Eli and Peyton going to give anyone else a chance?... gawd.
I did see Clay Matthews! Was the highlight of the first half.
Nyce and Stoney, Thursday morning quarterback? I want this to happen! It'd be awesome.
To help out Jessica, I've been trying to think of a weekly thing I could do, article wise but I'm unmotivated and have nothing. Thoughts?
The Voice starts soon! Yay.

Somebody tell Ed that I hope he and Andrew are well.

Hola amigos y amigas,

Today is a wonderful day, the sun is shining, its not humid, oh and the best part? Well, Wiggy called in sick!! Oh and the branch manager bitch from that has been working from our office won't be in today either. Her branch is having lunch catered today as part of the bank's employee/customer appreciation. Apparently all the branches have had this, well except for ours. I guess Senior management doesn't appreciate us, that must be why we are closing. I hope they choke on their food. Still it is a glorious day!!

No Mr. Cactus Jack, I haven't snapped yet, but there is still plenty of time between now and Nov. 30th. LOL!!

So the Giants didn't look so great last night huh?

Well I hope all of you have a wonderfully amazing day, I know I will heart!

Good Day, Q!

How about them GIANTS!  indecision   Their Defense netted me a  -1 in one of my fantasy leagues!  F**KERS!  angry

Bill Clinton kicked some major ass last night in his speech!  Whether you are a Republican, Democrat or an Indy, one thing is for certain, it's VERY difficult to debate what Bill says!  Why?  Because he backs it up with facts!   Go ahead, FACT CHECK what he says.....you won't find any lies!!  GO AHEAD!

9 weeks into Guitar Lessons and I'm absolutely loving it!  I can play 10 chords.  Still working on my speed with regards to shifting chords and I can play a few rifts to Another Brick in the Wall, Wish You Were Here, House of the Rising Sun & Tequila Sunrise.  My patience level is not where I want it to be.  I want to be able to play full songs, even though I know that it's going to take a while to fully learn and be comfortable playing guitar........oh well, I'm doing this as a hobby more than anything else.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your day!

Good Morning! (#4) not as much pressure

Q'rs
Hello and thank you.
I have so much stuff and not a logical thought in my head. I have been having many discussions about peoples brains and how they work. I am leaning to going into research sometime in the future if I live long enough. the brain is fascinating and i am absolutely in love with it. School is hard, but I'm getting a groove, the boys are fantastic and loving school already. jack was accepted into the LEAP program for gifted students and he is also going to be in the kindness & Compassion Club to help his school be the best it can be. he is also going to be in Cub Scouts (how exciting) (smh) it's what Ii get for letting there be a democracy. Joshua  is loving his new teacher and taking swimming lessons (really, don't ask) i taught him how to swim for the last 4 years. I'm just happy they are happy. The Voice Monday and SOA returns. Can not get much better than that!
Have a great one!

Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

In breaking news, the Giants suck.  Hey AnthonyRichardLewisVittonDontKnowJackAboutFootball....Usually, those that talk the most $h*t actually have the least amount to say.  On the other hand, the Giants SUCK!  BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

How in the f**k can politicians stand to look at themselves in the mirror?  Sursly?  Billy Jeff tells the world last night waht a raging b*n*r he has for Barry, but 4 short years ago, he's telling the world that Mr. Sotero is a joke.  I would really, really like to see, just once in my life, a politician from either side of the aisle, who isn't a complete d*uch*hat, lying gasbag.

Hey, did you guys hear that the Giants suck?

So, I was thinking of taking the words f**k and $h*t out of my official platform.  I'd ask for a two thirds vote here, but if that $h*t aint necessary at the DNC, it aint f**kin necessary here neither.  Anybody get a look at the telemprompter before the actual vote was taken?  I did, and the fix was already in, F'ers.

How about that Eli F'n Manning, huh?  Mr. Clutch my a$$.

Out in Kow-li-Four-Nye-Yeah, there's a little story about a bank robbery where the manager had a bomb strapped to his a$$.  Of course, Cactus Jack's first thought was "Oh f**k!  Kat finally snapped!"

The Giants.

SUCK.

Eli.

So the Cowboys beat the Gnats yesterday, I did not expect that but great I will take it. The Cowboys Defense looked good played consistent and didn't make any big mistakes, let's see if they can build on that. The offensive line looked horrible to start the game, settled down and played better. Romo looked good, one bad decision but I can live with that especially if the other team is going to have first and goal from the 3 and the D is going to hold them to a field goal. Olgetree had the game of his career and if he can become a viable/consistent 3rd WR for Dallas, they just became harder to defend. Murray got it rolling once the O-line got rolling. The biggest problem that Dallas needs to fix at this point is penalties. If they have 12 penalties for 86 yards every game, they will not be so lucky and get the W consistently.

Gonna find the Clinton speech online and watch it!

Oh I am what I am and I do what I want...

Konichiwa B!tches,

Good game last night, even though I hate the Cowboys more than I hate pickles (which is a legendary, borderline un-natural level of hatred btw) and I wish Tony Romo would die of a SEVERE case of herpies.... they played really well last night.  I don't know if their coverage was really good or the Giants receivers were lost, but the passing game for NY was weak.  I can't wait until Sunday!!

My boss has me doing labor and overhead to our product costing.  I've been looking at excel speadsheets too much, I'm having a hard time fighting the urge to stab my eye balls with a fork.

Keep it classy...

I'm in the top 10 today, sweet!  I have off work because I'm working late this weekend.  It's a beautiful day here and still pretty warm.  I have tickets for tomorrow night's Bucs/Cubs game and A.J. Burnett gets to pitch.  I'd like to see another 1-hitter or better.  They need just 10 more wins to end the longest losing streak in pro sports history.  I will be missing the Steelers opener thanks to having to work late Sunday, not pleased with that at all.  I watched some of Bill Clinton's speech last night.  He ripped the GOP a new one and it was fun to see.  Cleveland folks, you can stop hating one of the most hated people in your city's history.  Art Modell has died at the age of 87.  The Pirates have a Pedro Alvarez look alike in the stands that's dressing just like him, uniform and all, and if Pedro keeps hitting like he has been, this guy should keep going to the games and putting the outfit on every time...WOO!  In honor of former President Clinton tearing the GOP's false accusations apart in his speech last night, let's celebrate with his theme song.

If you wake up and don't want to smile,
If it takes just a little while,
Open your eyes and look at the day,
You'll see things in a different way.

Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow,
Don't stop, it'll soon be here,
It'll be, better than before,
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone.

Why not think about times to come,
And not about the things that you've done,
If your life was bad to you,
Just think what tomorrow will do.

Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow,
Don't stop, it'll soon be here,
It'll be, better than before,
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone.

All I want is to see you smile,
If it takes just a little while,
I know you don't believe that it's true,
I never meant any harm to you.

Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow,
Don't stop, it'll soon be here,
It'll be, better than before,
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone.

Don't you look back,
Don't you look back.

good afternoon everyone. My daughter Janie informed me that she was not registering to vote.  This of course hurt me deeply, as I have raised both my daughters to know that their voice is the single best gift they have. She told me she does not know anything about it and doesn't care.  I told her to find what was most important to her, then study and educate herself to the candidates and their stand on that. She looked me dead in the face and told me no. I knew I lost so what could I say at this point.

I did tell her my reason for voting, still to no avail. So I guess I leave it alone and hope the day comes that she changes her mind.

I did not think that being raised the way she has, that not voting would even be an option to her.     broken heart

Well anyways, it's my day off and things are pretty quiet here. You guys have a great day and see you in the locker room. smiley

if you watch that show, you would hope that someone like Frank or Dan would win because they have played the best game, but, that's not always the case due to people like them being the biggest threat and losing power any given week.

I think it would be pretty cool if Ian won it all......dweeb and all!

Just throwing this out there today.. don't you think the group that would want to see Romney's tax returns more than anyone else would be the LDS Church?
I know Anne Romney likes to boast that they like to give their 10% like it's something special (forgetting to mention that it's expected of Mormons in order to be a part of the church, especially those with his status), but they probably want to see how much they're getting stiffed

A guy walks into a doctors office with a 5 iron wrapped around his neck and 2 black eyes. "What happened to you?" asked the doctor. "Well it all started when my wife and I were golfing and by accident she hit the ball into a cow field. When we went to investigate, I saw the ball in a cow's a**. I went and lifted the tail of the cow and that's when I made my mistake." The doctor looked puzzled and asked, "What mistake was that?"

Thursday morning quarterback you say, Ash?

Let's talk some football.. Bullet point style.
*I've been a big Tony Romo supporter for the last couple years, and for the first time in three years, didn't draft him on a fantasy team.  Do you know why? Because  I want him to succeed.  He's got top 10 physical abilities constantly battling bottom 5 clock management and decision making.  It's like a Michael Bay Movie soaked in gasoline

It was a big day for Tony Romo.. He beats the Giants on National TV with a fantastic game, and he can celebrate the fact he avoided this... (segue)

But if you believe tabloids, you think she may look like this right now

That's what I like to call Republican truth..

Where was I?
Oh, back to football..
*The Giants offensive line is offensive.
*Unluckiest position in the NFL? Giants CB
*Breakout star?Kevin Ogletree
*Dueling bad MFers? Demarcus Ware and Jason Pierre Paul Francois Toussant
*I'm still baffled people watch the Voice
*My favorite one-hit wonder right now? M83
*I don't know what Queen Latifah sang before the game, but why didn't they have her sing the National Anthem?
*I need another game tonight

i took the last couple days off work because of an emergency in my mouth. i can definitely get used to 2-day work weeks.

the downside is it's really hard to get back into gear afterall that weekend and birthdaying. so i have decided to spend the day browsing backsplashes. to make the experience more entertaining i have this and this and this going in a loop. too bad i can't do that rosebud:!:!:!:!:!:!:! cheat too.

sista, i love the madden commercials. the one where paul goes "spike!" is awesome. o. and the game is weird. the players move really funny. but if you have a nerd headset, it's really fun to do the audibles and pretend you're bill cowher. i like to make that face whenever my players fall over each other. cause they do that a lot.

this is my newest favorite commercial. i watched my year's quote of tv in my down time and i have decided the bio channel is my favorite ever. all spooky s**t, all the time. there's a show called celebrity ghost stories where d-list celebs and worse get on and give very dramatic tellings of scary stuff that happened to them. the only two i've actually recognized so far are kevin pollak and alan thicke. but all the stories are great!

i'm gonna get back to backsplashes.

So how bout them Cowboys?

That was physically painful to type. And not because of my bum finger. Speaking of which, I've learned to type any letter I would normally use my middle finger on my right hand for with my ring finger. Also - I'm wearing a guitar slide on my middle finger as to not bump my fingertip on anything. It was my husband's idea - instead of helping me with the laundry last night he gave me that. (OK, in fairness, he was setting up my office...we still weren't unpacked fully).

I'm a mess.

I love Spotify. And I'm being reminded right now of how much I love MB20. North is awesome. They're a mellower band than most of my favorites, but they're great for work music and for calming me the hell down when I'm stressing myself into a migraine.

We bought a 12th Man flag the last time we were in Seattle - Trever's getting something at work so we can have a permanent fixture but raise it on game days.

My daughter started school this morning. I'm really excited for this year - they have some very cool projects set up. I guess the UW students come over and give all of the 5th graders camcorders for the school year and they give the kids a basic assignment of recording things in the area that they find interesting. Then at the end of the school year they come back and pick up the cameras, take all of the footage and put it together for a big presentation on the UW campus for the kids. They're also doing a research project comparing the Makah tribe (the reservation we're on) with any other tribe of their choice (I hope Kiernan chooses the Lakota Sioux) as a year-long project. I can't wait to help her with that one! The school here is very nice, and her teacher seemed like an awesome guy. Other than the fact that when he shook my hand he squeezed it so hard I thought my bone in my middle finger was going to shoot out the tip and spear him. The tribe provided each student with a nice new Nike backpack stocked with school supplies, but she opted instead to take her orange Hunger Games backpack she got at Hot Topic a few weeks ago. I actually love that in a time when all the little girls want to be Bella, my little girl wants to be Katniss.

I went to google to find an image of Jerry Jones winking, so I could reply to your opener.  Guess what I found?  That's right, nothing.  You cannot find a picture of Jerry Jones winking, because he f**king CAN'T!

The Giants.

SUCK.

Eli.

Is.

A.

Mouth.

Breather.

Looked to me like DeMarcus coulda been that Sam's club bagger guy that the Mouth of the South was running his piehole about yesterday.

So, What exactly does crow taste like?  It tastes like a Giants loss at home to start the season.

You've been edJACKated!
even a broken clock is right 2x a day. Romeo still won't win the big one. And if Stevie Wonder can see the MMA holds the Cowgirls Offensive line was putting on Tuck, Umenyiora, and Pierre Paul, how come refs couldn't?

Oh, that's right. Jerry Jones "guaranteed" a win--probably with his checkbook.

And Ash, I agree, I got sick of Peyton and Eli commercials. I mean, really, NBC? Isn't there anyone else from the sports world that can do a commercial? Danica Patrick, maybe?

hell, I'd settle for Bob Uecker rehashing his Miller Lite commercials; at least they were funny

Remember the fugly throwback uniforms the Steelers are supposed to be wearing?  They decided they're wearing them for 2 home games, late October against the Redskins, and November 18 against the Ravens.  That November 18th game is the always guaranteed Steelers/Ravens Sunday night game on NBC.  Why the hell are they going to wear that crap on national TV?!  For those who don't remember what they look like, here's a refresher.

:D

Nyce, yesterdays game of course... but as we've discussed....it would normally be Monday Morning QB. Recaps, analysis, skip and steven a. like stuff :|

The Orioles? Holy *bleep* The AL East is tied again. 5 to go to clinch a winning season, but we're likely past that point now.

i took the last couple days off work because of an emergency in my mouth. i can definitely get used to 2-day work weeks.

the downside is it's really hard to get back into gear afterall that weekend and birthdaying. so i have decided to spend the day browsing backsplashes. to make the experience more entertaining i have this and this and this going in a loop. too bad i can't do that rosebud:!:!:!:!:!:!:! cheat too.

sista, i love the madden commercials. the one where paul goes "spike!" is awesome. o. and the game is weird. the players move really funny. but if you have a nerd headset, it's really fun to do the audibles and pretend you're bill cowher. i like to make that face whenever my players fall over each other. cause they do that a lot.

this is my newest favorite commercial. i watched my year's quote of tv in my down time and i have decided the bio channel is my favorite ever. all spooky s**t, all the time. there's a show called celebrity ghost stories where d-list celebs and worse get on and give very dramatic tellings of scary stuff that happened to them. the only two i've actually recognized so far are kevin pollak and alan thicke. but all the stories are great!

i'm gonna get back to backsplashes.
i took the last couple days off work because of an emergency in my mouth.

What the hell people, am I the only one that caught this little wonderful snippet of information?

I'm so dumbfounded that I'm the only one that noticed it, that I actually forgot the joke I was gonna make. Eff it, I'll just post a picture.....
