Your NL Manager of the Year Ballot
If you had a vote for NL Manager of the Year, who would you vote for? All managers who started the year with their respective teams and are still there are listed. In the case of the NL, this means every team is represented except the Astros, who fired their manager during the season.

Davey is a shoo-in for this one, Bochy gets lots of votes for overtaking Dodgers, and Matheny gets 3rd for situation he walked into in St. Louis (Pujols gone, Berkman, Carpenter, and Craig injured most of year) and still got a wild-card out of it

Davey with out question, Gonzales for making the most out of the Braves pitching staff and I will even give him for being lucky to having Chipper having the year he did. The Reds went into the season looking to win the Central and Baker keep the team on track to do so even with the Pirates at a time battling for the top, and the Cardinals trying to reach them at the end. I would have taken Matheny as my fourth manager and Clint Hurdle as the 4th for leading the Pirates to one of their better season. Even had people believing they may make a run for the Wild Card. I did not take any one in the West, Mattingly and the Dodgers let the West slide right on by them did not see the desire to win it in their play, which is the same reason I did not pick Bitchy. The Dodgers let it slide by them more then Bitchy leading the Giants past them.
