Breast Cancer Awareness Month
I think I did an article for this a few years ago, but I'm too lazy too find it. Breast Cancer and Leukemia are just about the only causes that I actually donate money to, being that I have a personal relationship with both. (And, yes I know that this doesn't affect some of you, and I'm an idiot for supporting it, blah, blah, blah...I got it, no need to type it)

I was having a convo the other night about knowing I need a reduction to help with the back pain but I already know that I won't do it. I can't imagine being told that I had no other option about losing one or both of them besides death. I'm quite attached to mine. Soooo, this is my friendly reminder to rub those thangs, ladies or have whoever you like to do such things to take a moment and do so for a different purpose. Also, remind those younger girls that they need to check them as well (and how). Men, rub yours too. It happens.

I help do fundraisers for Breast Cancer awareness.  I have had too many people, close to me, have been diagnosed, survived and not survived this terrible disease to the point that I am 100% behind it!

To those out there that have had it, currently have it, or know someone who has or have had it!  My prayers and recognition for your/their bravery and courage to fight this and my deepest condolences for those that lost their battle!

I think I said this before, my sisters and my mom and I are the only females on both sides of the family to NOT get breast cancer.
They want to include us in a study.   Every time I get squished, I have to go back for ultrasounds at least twice.  Very
unnerving.  I don't have insurance so I need to find somewhere to get it done for free.

That's September. According to my few minutes of research, "Proctober" is what some radio show personalities called it because one of them got his prostate exam on air every October :|. They now call it "Rectember".

That was my thought as well.

It appears that Movember is an overall Mens Health Awareness Month and September is Prostate Awareness, as Ash mentioned.

huh?!?  Who knew?

My heart goes out to everyone that is affected by breast cancer or any other form of cancer and I hope that they are able to fight through it and come out fine in the end. One of my best friends had his leg amputated because of cancer. It is a horrible disease that I hope gets a cure soon.

Every woman I've ever met, the first thing I say is to get them checked daily. Also donate money I don't have for breast research, considering I don't work, that says alot about my character.

What about a local Planned Parenthood clinic? They don't only do abortions or counsel women on unwanted pregnancies.

A friend of mine is a breast cancer survivor.  She had to postpone the appt. she originally had to get her mammogram by a month.  If she had gone to the first appt, they probably would've missed the tumor b/c it was barely detectable at her 2nd appt.  I'm grateful that God was looking out for her that day.
