Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Morning.
Why would you want to post your *ss on a website that isn't paying you to do so? Nothing should be free. Attention whoring gone too far, I think. Stupid women... Ugh. If you want dudes  (or ladies) here to see it, just send it to them privately. I can guarantee that they don't give a sh** where they get to see it as long as they get to see it.

I watched the pilots of Shameless and Homeland. Both were kind of great! I will probably have to watch Shameless after Homeland because I can tell it's going to stress me the hell out. But, I am quite excited to see what happens next.

Enjoy your week!

I received a verbal warning for scratching my b**ls on the job. I had to listen to two female supervisors lecture me on how it's sexual harassment. How so? I was touching myself, not them!

I AM THIRD!!! (sounds like the autobiography of Gale Sayers)

Morning Q'ers!  Happy Cristoforo Colombo Day!  In some places, it's a federal holiday (SOME banks, the post office) and other places it is not (my office, our trash collection).  I only take the "major" holidays off-Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July, Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.  Patients will come in on MLK Day, Columbus Day, President's Day, Veterans Day, so the doors are open.

Yankees win....THHHEE YANKKEEEESSS WINNNN!  After being sluggish, they pulled out the bats in the 9th and scored 5 runs.

My son's band, Breathing Blue (for now), played their last show as "Breathing Blue" last night in Freehold, NJ.  Seems they have a record label that wants to do a deal with them, but thinks their name doesn't fit with the label OR their type of music.  Check em out on itunes, or here http://www.breathingbluemusic.com.  They did well last night, as always, but I might be a little biased.

Today's "thought"..."Two seeing eye dogs went on a blind date....."

Have a GREAT holiday for those of you lucky enough to be off!

Great point, Ash!  yes

Hey all!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Sucks not having the day off (Columbus Day). frown

Anyone else having an issue not being able to access MY (Your) WALL or anyone else's?  I use Safari but also tried Chrome and IE and nothing.

A HUGE THANK YOU to those that IM'd me and commented on my post on Friday, asking how my sister is doing!  She will be ok, just extremely bruised and sore.  THANKS AGAIN! yes

It's Monday, so lets talk some Football, shall we?!

First and foremost, being a Bears fan, I loathe the PACKERS!  Now, I have another reason to hate those f**kers!  I was in a Survivor Pool in which 106 people signed up for @ $20 a person. So, the winner gets over $2k.  Going into this week, there were only 16 people left, I was one of them.  I took GB this week!  angry   Stupid, mother f**king GB loses to INDY after leading at half-time 21-3!  UGH!

How bout dem Saints!  Nice comeback!  SD did get screwed on a few calls in that 4th QTR though, I must say!

ATL improves to 5-0 after an intense win in Washington!
Nice win by the FINS over dem Bengals!
SF made Buffalo their bitch!
Exciting finish to the PIT-PHI game as well! Green Eyed Deja must of had a great time at that game!

Speaking of making someone their BITCH!

BEARS 41, JAGS 3!

Back to back 2 TD games from our Defense!  If our offense can stay consistent, this is going to be a HUGE year for DA BEARS!

And the CATHOLICS made the CONVICTS their Soap Dropping Bitch on Saturday - ND 41, MIA 3

Back to the Bears - Jax game, this story was released this morning: BEARS FAN STABBED TO DEATH

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A suburban Chicago man in Jacksonville for the Chicago Bears game was stabbed to death inside a local bar early Sunday morning.

William Christopher Pettry, 42, of Lake Villa, Ill., was stabbed at Fionn MacCool's, an Irish restaurant and bar, at the Jacksonville Landing area, and later pronounced dead, according to a news release from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Jacksonville resident Matthew Hinson, 28, was arrested for the crime.

According to the release, the investigation revealed Pettry was in town for the game and "was involved in a disturbance with two other subjects inside of the restaurant. During the incident, Mr. Pettry was stabbed by one of the subjects and was later pronounced deceased."

Hinson was found at the scene, detained and charged with the crime.

The victim's wife, Karen Hunt Pettry, posted about her husband's death on her Facebook page Sunday:

"Today my husband William Christopher Pettry (Most of you only know him by Chris) was taken from his family way to early. Some idiot has taken his life. Im so mad, just don't understand why, very lost right now. Please hug the ones you love because you never know if tomorrow you will have that chance."

Police say the investigation is ongoing and there will be a press conference Monday at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Have a great day, everyone!

What if one of THEM was eating and a couple of crumbs went into their cleavage?  Would THAT be sexual harrasment if they tried to "shake loose the crumbs?" Or would you just enjoy the show?

The doctor said, "Joe, the good news is I can cure your headaches. The bad news is that it will require castration. You have a very rare condition, which causes your testicles to press on your spine, and the pressure creates one hell of a headache. The only way to relieve the pressure is to remove the testicles."

Joe was shocked and depressed. He wondered if he had anything to live for. He couldn't concentrate long enough to answer, but decided he had no choice but to go under the knife.

When he left the hospital he was without a headache for the first time in 20 years, but he felt like he was missing an important part of himself. As he walked down the street, he realized that he felt like a different person. He could make a new beginning and live a new life. He saw a men's clothing store & thought, "That's what I need - a new suit."

He entered the shop and told the salesman, "I'd like a new suit." The elderly tailor eyed him briefly and said, "Let's see ... size 44 long." Joe laughed, "That's right, how did you know?" "Been in the business 60 years!" Joe tried on the suit. It fit perfectly.

As Joe admired himself in the mirror, the salesman asked, "How about a new shirt?" Joe thought for a moment and then said, "Sure." The salesman eyed Joe and said, "Let's see, 34 sleeve & 16-1/2 neck." Again, Joe was surprised, "That's right, how did you know?" "Been in the business 60 years!"

Joe tried on the shirt, and it fit perfectly. As Joe adjusted the collar in the mirror, the salesman asked, "How about new shoes?" Joe was on a roll and said, "Sure." The salesman eyed Joe's feet and said, "Let's see ... 9-1/2 E." Joe was astonished, "That's right, how did you know?" "Been in the business 60 years!"

Joe tried on the shoes and they fit perfectly. Joe walked comfortably around the shop and the salesman asked, "How about some new underwear?" Joe thought for a second and said, "Sure." The salesman stepped back, eyed Joe's waist and said, "Let's see... size 36."

Joe laughed. "Ah ha! I got you! I've worn size 34 since I was 18 years old." The salesman shook his head, "You can't wear a size 34. A size 34 underwear would press your testicles up against the base of your spine and give you one hell of a headache.

well howdy partners

First off.. Stupid Demaryius Thomas.. 3rd straight game with a fumble, could have sent the game in another direction early vs the Patriots yesterday.  As it was, the Pats rolled my beloved Donkeys and exploited the weakness nobody seems to want to correct.

In my main FF league, I was offered RGIII for Alfred Morris and Rashad Mendenhall this week, with Philip Rivers and Matt Stafford already on my roster.  Didn't feel right so I didn't pull the trigger.. Whew..
Just step out of bounds

How pissed are Packers fans today?

The NHL lockout is giving me an ulcer I think

I was able to finally put a regular shoe on my bad foot yesterday.. Little victories

Also got the first part of my halloween costume.  It's nice having a great friend who owns costume shops.  I'm shooting for the grand prize again this year

This gif from last night sums up A-Rod to a T

Speaking of baseball, this new playoff format where the lower seeded team starts at home and is the only team guaranteed to have 2 home games is a fu**ing joke.

Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

I know that every generation says that the generation(s) after them somehow have it better than they did, but holy Mary mother of sweet baby Tebow on a T-Rex, I have f**king proof.  The smokin hot f**king chick you see below is a former Bengals cheerleader, and now former high school teacher who was recently convicted of having sex with one of her students.  Man, in my day they didn't make teachers you'd wanna do the shagnasty with, much less one that most people would pay just to see nekkid!..

Speaking of "Please, Dear God just once let me have S.E.X. with someone like this", Esquire Magazine has named Mila Kunis the sexiest woman alive.  I think them F'ers may be right.

Anyhow, President Barry is really whoopin dat a$$ now.  He's sure layin the smack down on Mittens after Mittens kicked his $h*t face to face in the debate.  Barry has all kind of good comebacks now, after he's had a chance to relax and curl up with his teleprompter over the weekend.  That man is as sharp as a f**king bowling ball.  Next we will be comparing penis sizes....oh, wait...nevermind.

F**K the Yankees.

Hey Nick...Judy Garland's dress from the Wizard of Oz is going up for auction.  It would be the perfect ensemble for your next Zima soiree.

So, the election is now a month away.  I'd love to tell you guys who's going to win, but I'm a Cowboys fan....what the f**k do I know about picking a winner?

That's enough news for you F'ers for today.

You've been edJACKated!

Happy Lost Sailor's Day!

Ick yea, that's a known bug that we're working on. It's not working in any of the browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, RockMelt -though that's a Chrome interface, so...)

I love NFL A.M.

A friend of mine just got married on Sept. 8, and her new husband lost his 1.5yr battle with pancreatic cancer last night. She seems to be doing ok; I think she was relatively prepared, but still. It's difficult, I know. Her husband worked with mine when they first got in the Coast Guard; they were stationed together and worked together a lot since they were the same rate. She and I stayed close, but they really didn't, but it really bothered Trever too. I suppose it always reminds us of our own mortality when someone we know passes away, no matter how close we are. Screw cancer.

Can't wait for November 6. Ashamed to say it, but it'll be the first time I've voted in a LONG time. Though I'm pretty sure my one little vote won't mean anything in this pretty strong blue state, but at least I can feel like I had my say. That's not the only reason I can't wait for election day though. Like everyone else, I'm sick and tired of the nonsense ads and political B.S.

Monday, monday.....sigh.

I smell like curry.  I have to make something curried 2 days a week now.   That's my punishment for making it taste good I guess.

My #1 granddaughter Alanna got her elbow dislocated and fractured by her daddy.  Been telling that dumb  MF for years to NOT toss the girls around.   I so want to throw a blanket party for his dumb azz.
Hopefully the doctor today will have a purple cast for her.  That was the only thing I could say to get her to stop crying.  That and these Dora stickers.

       AWWlana

Also, I don't know what happened in the world of college football, because I really don't give a rat's *zz, but I am guessing
it didn't go so well for FSU this weekend.   Saw this on my way to work.   LOL

I hooked up this laptop to the printer Saturday, and suddenly the wireless  is working after 2 years.   Weird, but grateful I am not
tethered to one room in the casa.

         Enjoy your holiday.

2012 New Orleans Saints: A Football Life

#WhoaDat

I literally mumbled "For eff's sake" to myself while watching live. Sums up my fan experience to this point. Also does anybody actually care about these records? No disrespect to Johnny U. or Brees or Marino or whoever, but these numbers are not part of the fabric of the game like 56 / 714 are / were to baseball or 100 is to basketball.

I'm ready for some #Timsanity tonight. The Jets have nothing to lose at this point, plus it's fun for all the overreactions from the haters and the truthers.

Edit: Oops, almost forgot to wish my peeps in the old country a Happy ThanksGiving!

Whatup?
I want the Jets & Coach Rex "smell my feet" Ryan to get smashed tonight, but I have a real bad feeling man. The Texans are 0-4 on the road in Prime Time. Also, we have never (0-5) beaten the "Not Yets" One difference from then & now. The only saving grace will be (as usual) Wade Phillips & the Bulls on Parade defense. Bad feeling or not...a national audience will get to see "Watt Happens" to New York. 31-20 Houston.
Speaking of New York, didja see the Yankees "dunk" the Baltimore Cookies last night...Orioles, cookies...oreos? C'mon, man. skip it. Game 2 is today and we're sending out H-Town native Andy Pettite, extending his record 42,000 th (give or take) post-season start. That's all for now. But if ya think about it it's plenty. LATER.

"All I Want Is You"
(feat. J. Cole)

[J.Cole:]
Damn, Cole world
I never thought I see that day that you’re my old girl
Now I’m stuck here hollering at old girl
Got one, got two, three four girls
Shotgun in the drop made a right
Hut one, hut two, told them n****s take a hike
Then it’s on to the next one, on, on to the next one
Hard to move on when you always regret one

[Miguel:]
I wonder sometimes
I wonder if I was wrong
Tryna do right by you got me here
Now all I am is alone

Cause her eyes
And those hips
And that (ass)
Don’t compare, at all (no)
And at best, all they do is distract me
But now, deep down, when I face it

[Chorus:]
All I want is you
All I want is you (now)
All I want is you now
Now that you’re gone, gone, gone

[Verse Two:]
Cause being your friend was killing me softly
Hear voices
Wondering where I went wrong
It was my fault, in the wrong time,
I wonder so often, regret gets exhausting

Cause her eyes
And those hips
And that (ass)
Don’t compare, at all (no)
And at best, all they do is distract me
But now, deep down, when I face it

[Chorus (x2):]
All I want is you (mhm)
All I want is you (now)
All I want is you now (sugar)
Now that you’re gone, gone, gone, gone, gone

[Bridge:]
Cause they don't smile
Or smell like you
No they don't make me laugh
Or even cook like you
And they don't photograph
Nah, they don't sex like you
Let's face it, I can't replace it
That's why all I want is you now...

[J.Cole:]
I hit the club when you left me thinking that could heal
Trying to celebrate my Independence Day, Will Smith
Baby girl who I’m kidding
Still sick, real sh**
All my new bitches seem to get old real quick
And could it be you everything these plain bitches couldn’t be
Is it a sign from the Lord that I shouldn’t be
Lost in the Player way sorta get old to me
Got me on layaway, girl you gotta a hold on me
I say I’m wrong, you say come again
Damn, said I was wrong look don’t rub it in
I got a lot on my mind
Got a flock full of dimes
Like a line full of hoes,
Look how they coming in
Just saying
You don’t wanna have me then somebody will
I’m playing
Weight on my chest like I body build
I’m praying
You ain’t content with trying to do your thang
Hey come back baby boomerang

[Chorus]

For eight innings, last night's game was everything I'd ever dreamed about regarding a Orioles playoff game. Camden Yards was rocking the whole time, both pro-Oriole and of course anti-Yankee (anyone hear the "steroid" chants at A-Rod and the boos of Texieria?) Two and a half hour rain delay? So what. After 15 years, what's a little rain delay? The game itself was also a perfect postseason game for those eight innings. It was tight and tense and both teams had plenty of missed opportunities (you know, for such an "experienced" postseason team, the Yankees sure made some bad baserunning decisions). I still don't know how O'Day got out of that jam in the 7th.

Of course, then the 9th happened. Johnson didn't have it that night. That's the bottom line. He was always going to be the guy pitching the 9th, so you can't say that was the wrong decision, because that made the most sense. He just didn't have it. Move on and get them tonight. This team isn't dead yet.

Other non-first playoff game in Baltimore in 15 years thoughts...
  • I'm sure this will shock you, but standing outside in the cold and rain for 8 hours does not help a cold.
  • It's freezing in my apartment, since it's 50 degrees outside and the heat isn't hooked up yet. /first world problems
  • I have no idea what happened to the Packers yesterday, but it's clear they just aren't very good this year. That O-line is the fatal flaw. Whatever.
  • So apparently the big controversy of the day was Chiefs fans cheering Cassell getting knocked out. I don't want to add to the predictable sanctimonious paternalistic commentary that defines NFL analysis (although, yeah, you really shouldn't cheer that), but there's one thing I don't understand. Why do Chiefs fans want to see Brady Quinn so bad? Have they erased Quinn's career thus far from their memories? I have no other explanation.
  • I have today off because I work for the federal government. If that bothers you, I say don't have the player, hate the game. I would gladly give up Columbus Day (most racist holiday ever!) for a holiday that everyone gets off in April. Hell, I'd give up Columbus Day just to prevent benefit cuts.
  • This weekend I mostly took a break from politics. I've been pretty relaxed this weekend. There's probably a correlation there.
  • Finally, *bleep* the Yankees.

Listen here Gaylord Focker!

1) Mitt did not kick Barry's ass in the debate, he was just the better liar!  He's lucky Obama didn't pull out the 47% rule.  Everything that Romney stated, leading up to the Republican debate, he denied during the Presidential debate.

and

2) I already wore that Judy Garland dress at one of the Zima Soiree's.   But, the Zima was flowing rapidly that evening and spilled on the dress and that dress was stained to the point of it being permanently damaged!  You should remember that.....................OH YEAH, HAHAHAHA, that's right....you were too busy

You are welcome about the wishes for your sister.

Irish only moving up 2 spots while UF jumped 6 is downright discriminatory and straight bullsh*t!!!!!!!!!!!

Ridiculous to kill someone over a football game. It's only a game, not really life or death for crying out loud.

Weird, but grateful I am not
tethered to one room in the casa.

you need a blanket party for Alanna's father? Offering my services to make sure it gets done right and only charge will be in disposal of the body.
