No time like the present...
We were having a discussion here which had me to wondering. If I could go back in time or into the future, what would I choose? Going in the past, you could right a few wrongs, see loved ones, whatever. By going into the future you could possibly avoid some upcoming difficulties. Part of me wants to just take it day by day and see what life holds. Basically what I am asking is, what would you want to do if given the opportunity?

If this poll has been done EXACTLY like this before, please worry about the person who did it like this the last time.

Thanks.

I think I rather go into the future. The past is the past. If I did a wrong or someone wrong, so be it. I probably had a reason. And as hungover as I am today, tomorrow would be just fine.  In about 6 months I am moving from Alabama, back to Key West, then on down to the islands permanently. So I wish to be in the future there now. Now about the past, I wish I woulda never said I DO!!!!

LIVE IN THE NOW
do not care to revisit what i've done and where i've been.    that is a memory.
i want to experience the adventure of getting to where i am headed.  that is life.
Option 20, another other.

Yeah, I am good here. I am working on my future and have been shaped by my past. Winning 20 bucks on a lottery ticket would be cool, though.

wink
I want the Falcons to win the Super Bowl this year.

I'm OK right here!
You need a hug, Beans?
#6 | 252 days ago

One day at a time, never back.  I don't want to jump ahead and miss out on all the growing up I still have to do.
If I skipped to the future, I would probably make poor decisions because I would have no life history to base them on.
I'll take 3 #1s and 2 #7s, to go.

I would say the Future to see if the Cubs ever win the World Series, but that's it. I don't want to be disappointed and change my life's continuum by knowing what's going to happen before it does.......Yes, I believe that things happen for a reason (good or bad)

I would say the past, because, as much as I like the person that I turned out to be, for the most part, there are some things that I wish I could get a Mulligan for.
I want hockey to get started.

I guess I wouldn't mind going into the future enough to where Jason, Cacti, and Kevin were doing one of those tard polls, but that is as far in the future I want to take it.
I want the Falcons to win the Super Bowl this year.

Yeah, I guess actually knowing the Cubs will never win a World Series would dash the hopes and dreams each Cubs fan has during the first two weeks of each season.

I would go far into the future. A few thousand years at least.
I don't know what I want, but I want it right now.
#11 | 252 days ago

I will just stick to day by day.  I can't think of anything I'd change about the past...it made me who I am now, and really don't care to know what the future holds.
I don't know what I want, but I want it right now.
#12 | 252 days ago

Once things happens, they can't un-happen. So going back for the sake of change is futile and we already know about all the big events that took place. So meh. Forward it is. I'd go about 100 years so things would be totally different but not to the point where I wouldn't want to stay.

I like now......................but, if given a chance I'd pick the future...........a couple hundred years in the future.
I want hockey to get started.

Well I would choose to go into the past, just back to April. I would not change a thing, I would just like to have one more chance to hang with Chuy!
I want to go in the past to spend time with someone.

The past wasn't so great for my kind, soooo I'm pretty sure overall, I'd just stay here. I do really need to see my grandma sometimes, so maybe we could get a minute
I want to take a couple of weeks off with double pay.

I'm good with the here and now. I think we all have something we would like to change in the past, but that would also change who you are today. I might like to go back and punch my younger self in the face for some of the things i did, but without those experiences my greatness would not be what it is today.
#17 | 251 days ago

I would go back in time so I can watch baseball from the 20's to the 50's when it was awesome!

If you go back far enough, your kind was the only kind.

So you would be willing to set yourself up for future disappointments now? Do I need to add you to the FANIQ SUICIDE WATCH LIST with Future Cubs disappointments as the reason why? Already have Marcus on there because it looks like NY Knicks owner James Dolan is seriously wanting to get back together with his NBA Man-Lover Isaiah Thomas to ruin the team.
I want hockey to get started.

The only thing I would do is go back in time to when I almost walked out on my ex-wife while we were still dating and this time KEEP THE F*CK ON MOVING. I love my children, but I know for sure things would have been far different if I had not married her.

No question - I would go back and spend some more time with my dad, who I lost 3 weeks after I turned 22.
At 45, there is still not a day that goes by that I  don't miss him.
I want to go in the past to spend time with someone.
