5/5 -  Well all of these i knew so didn't have to guess at any.  That doesn't happen often indecision

Still have some voodoo still being practiced in different parts of the bayou. Oddly enough Voodoo and Hoodoo are practiced more now in the outlying swamp area's and not as much in New Orleans itself. Most of what you find in New Orleans and around new orleans now like shops and people practicing is all for show and tourist attention. Most of them aren't more a voodoo queen then i am.

But as much "media" mentioning Voodoo gets when associated with Louisiana and New Orleans there is actually much more Hoodoo being practiced here then actual Voodoo. Many mistake Voodoo and Hoodoo as being the same thing but they are very different and Hoodoo is feared by many here and the much darker of the two , as voodoo is basically a religion with a stigma from movies , hoodoo is truly a dark art.  The ones here who are known to have the power to "Conjure" are really looked upon as true magic and someone you rather not have interactions with if avoidable.
1. Benin  2. Haiti  3. Gris Gris  4. Catholicism  5. Marie Laveau
