Clownie Presents*The Thong Of The Day*11/07 PhotoIt's always breast cancer awareness month in my world but I guess what I mean is that it's cancer awareness month, week, day, hour..you get the point....no matter what type...my best friend from high-school is starting his 17th round of chemo as he is terminal and is fighting one of the most courageous battles I have ever witnessed. Cancer took my Mom 11 years ago and I know up close and too personal the effect it has on everyone involved. Not sure how many of you are aware but we lost a great Q friend in John (SickPuppy...how fitting his name was he once told me, and he laughed bout it. He passed about 6 months ago to this disease but he also was a hell of a fighter. My buddy Mark is not a member of the Q community and my message here is solely  just to send a prayer to him and his wife and the 5 beautiful children they are raising and I request that you guys and gals do the same. Gonna start growing my stache for Movember...let's see what I can do with it this year. I do understand that TOTD might be to some the wrong place to post something like this...but Mark wouldn't have it any other way, he might have cancer but he likes A$$ as much as the next guy/gal. He was such a nice person on here!   I'm just glad that he is no longer suffering and can be at peace!

 I had just recently found out about SickPuppy... So sad. Definitely is a void at the Q without him!
  As for your friend, Mark, He is first among all in my paryers today. I wish him and his family the best, especially coming into the holidays, which always seems to be the hardest time to deal with things of this nature....

John was one of the first Q'ers to say I was nuts. I really appreciated that. R.I.P my friend.

 I too know way too much about the pain and suffering when a family member or friend has cancer, lost my girlfriend
Roseann to cancer on June 26th this year, she was 41, sorry about your friend Mark, and also SickPuppy,  Take Care

I am so very sorry for your loss as well. It's hard to see the one you love suffer. When I was in high school, I lost my grandfather to cancer, in my frshmen year. Senior year I lost my grandma. The hardest part was, they were the ones who raised me from day one until they passed. I saw mom only a couple days a year, and my dad I never saw until recently, and it was not worth the wait.
