So im watching Clue last night on this LOGO channel and a commercial comes on for a series that plays on there called "1 Girl 5 Gays" and right away i think Oh S**t  ........ Janet landed her own reality show , that's what all this im so busy at "work" i can only check in now and then stuff is about, i knew there weren't that many dogs in Jersey. .

Make all the fun you want...I hate the Niners so much even if they were 1-7-1 right now I would be rooting against them. Even if the Cowboys were the opposing team. Tony Romo and all.

Just saying that the defensive game plan is real simple for the Niners, don't kick to Hester, load the box and stop Forte. In other words, put the ball in Campbell's hands and make him make some throws to beat you.

The Bears defense is far superior to the 49ers defense, They held the Texans to only 13 points last week. Even against the Texans Campbell managed 94 passing yds and when you consider Campbell during the preseason games only averaged 121 yds per game. Regardless of what Campbell does this week the Bears defense will win the game against the 49ers. IMO

And who won that Bears/Texans game?

This will be the STL CARDINAL's new baseball jersey...........not bad, very retro!

Alex Smith isn't out......yet......he's probable.

He practiced this week and passed the Concussion test.

My guess is that he plays.....but, that might not really matter.....he's been up and down all season, so, who knows which A.SMITH will show up.

This is going to be another close one, I think??   We will see just how good this BEARS team is, this week.

Hopefully, Mike Tice will remove his head from his ass and get Forte the ball more......he only had 1 catch last week....the Bears offense is only good when Forte plays a bigger role in the passing game!

Well, Richard Cranium's point (as I understood it) was that Jason Campbell sucks. That's as true now as it's been since he came into the league. Even with all the other talent, they still lost to the Texans. They aren't going to win every game simply because the defense is great. The QB position is fairly important one. lol

I agree 100% that Campbell sucks but I do trust the Bears defense to get the win. I hope so, it's my pick in the Pick Em and I'm moving up the ladder...lol

other than that, life is awesome. it's friday. i have more than seven cents. my little sister is happy. annnnd my heart is squishy. i am a touch bummed out because at some point between last night and this morning, i thought tie-bleaching a heart onto the knee of my victoria's secret pajama pants was a good idea. ah, c'est la vie.

DC Sports Bog had a piece this week on why Skins fans still like Campbell. My guess is they know that he had a new offensive coordinator every year basically he was in DC, which scrambled his brain (non-concussion version) and ruined what potential he had. Nice see at least one fanbase can get over a disappointment and not treat a guy like crap for it.

For the record, my guess is having a week of reps with the first team offense (something he hasn't had at any point this year) will mean Campbell probably plays better this week. One would think people would've accounted for this last week. Then I remembered to stop expecting rational thought from football fans.

In other news:

As I'm trying to become less negative, I realized that I'll need to change my Twitter handle, which has the word Negative in it.

I'm not wasting my time and energy going full bore on it, so I'll just keep it short. Mitch Albom wrote a very, very, very stupid article today.

Good weekend coming up. Got company coming on Saturday, and F1 comes back to the United States this weekend in Austin.

Good news today.  It's NOT cancer.  My mom and I may not be best friends, and I can still guarantee you that's the best news I've heard in a LONG time. 

Eggplant lasagna is baking in the oven.  My house smells amazing right now.  I can't wait to see if this recipe is any good. 

And I am so glad I don't have to roundhouse kick anyone after skimming through this poll.

Morning, Everybodee!

Band took 2nd place last night.   (Long night, but fun.)   One of our school administrators attended to support us.  It was going to be our Principal, but he couldn't make it, so he sent someone in his place.  To our surprise it was the asst. principal who always mis-schedules the use of school facilities and doesn't communicate to those involved.   He appeared to enjoy the show.  (Though he commented more on how fast we were setting up for the performance, having only 4 minutes to set up.  Nothing about how well the kids did.  Sigh.)

I think I can post a photo or two later, if I wake up.

Maybe if he would start playing like the veteran, 1st round drafted QB he is instead of looking like some un-drafted rookie that was bagging groceries at Krogers, we wouldn't be having this convo!

I'm probably in the minority. My parents didn't let us have a lot of junk food growing up, so I didn't grow up on Hostess like a lot of people. But I'm wondering if most people are more upset about a memory from their childhood being nothing more than a memory, rather than losing good food.

I think you hit the nail on the head.   For a lot of people, it's about the memory of home or childhood.   A few years back Krispy Kreme shops opened up in Southern California, and people went there in droves.   I don't know what they see in KKs, because to me, it's barely sugar and air.   But to many, a taste from home.    To each their own, I guess.
