MORNING! I've got nothing but this awesome Christmas card pic my nephew and his family took. All that is missing is them staring blankly up at the sky............and maybe a gold chain to go with that turtleneck.

After a particularly poor game of golf, a popular club member skipped the clubhouse and started to go home. As he was walking to the parking lot to get his car, a policeman stopped him and asked, "Did you tee off on the sixteenth hole about twenty minutes ago?"

"Yes," the golfer responded.

"Did you happen to hook your ball so that it went over the trees and off the course?"

"Yes, I did. How did you know?" he asked.

"Well," said the policeman very seriously, "Your ball flew out onto the highway and crashed through a driver's windshield. The car went out of control, crashing into five other cars and a fire truck. The fire truck couldn't make it to the fire, and the building burned down. So, what are you going to do about it?"

The golfer thought it over carefully and responded...

"I think I'll close my stance a little bit, tighten my grip and lower my right thumb."

FIFTH!!!

Morning Q'ers....RAMS WIN!!! RAMS WIN!!! I won my $10 from my nephew (usually it's 5, but since the tie in November screwed everything up....usually, it is I who have to give him $10 in the season).  It was a good game.

It's freaking 65 degrees in NJ today....I LOVE IT!  But, because the weather is SO NICE, I have to put out Christmas lights tonight.  Hope it rains...hope it rains...hope it rains....Actually, I just test the lights and feed them to my wife, who doesn't like the way I wrap them around the tree.

Here's something I thought was cute.....

Have a GREAT Monday!!!

Hello all in Qville !

It is now Bowl season once again in the world of College Football.  Ya know as much as i hate Alabama a part of me hopes they absolutely crush Notre Dame just outta spite for all of the SEC hate , so those haters can still bitch and moan but have to do it knowing the National Title once again sits in SEC land !   Then another part of me wants to see Notre Dame beat them down cause as i mentioned i cant stand em (and not allowed to being an LSU fan).   Im somewhat torn indecision

Stan Lee was on comic book men last night. It was best episode ever !  yes How cool would it be to chat with Stan Lee for a while and not just about comics but about characters and things in general. The man is truely one of a kind.  Have to say as i watched the episode i was quite Jelly !  (i know some of you don't even know who Stan Lee is , but google its worth it)

This mid-season break s**t for The Walking Dead really pisses me off.  Now have to wait till f**king Feb angry  Whoever thought of this mid season break idea should be beatin with lead tip filled hoses and dumped in red china !

oh herro prease

Let me start this off by saying Go Broncos!  I'm debating whether or not to get tickets for the Cleveland game on the 23rd and I have yet to go to a game this year.. hmmm

I'm still waiting for my stupid Movie Pass card to get here... Let's go people

Lightning Movie Round
If you get a chance, watch the movie Sound of My Voice
Lawless would have been a lot better without Shia Thebeef
Seeking a Friend For the End of the World was very disjointed, had the potential to be really good, but was still enjoyable
The movie Salo is f*cked up.. Loved it
If you haven't seen Moonrise Kingdom, do it.  Other recent thumbs up include; Your Sister's Sister, Safety not Guaranteed, Cube, Suicide Club, Kill List, Headhunters, Ink
and I'm your friend till the end. Hidey-ho!...

Ahhhh, Christmas is my favorite time of the year

Q'rs it is Monday! I am excited for the game tonight! I have some stuff and thought about it and decided whatever! I'm sensitive? Really? I am a go***mn Girl, of course I am sensitive. I fight for the stray cat in the tree, the Dalmatian that lost it's spots, the kid with 2 different colored socks on!  I will voice my opinion (within CoC guidelines) and if you don't like it, to f****n bad! Get the F*** over it...(i feel better) Got a quick question, mainly to parents and teachers: Pacer test? anyone here of it, I know it has to do with physical fitness, and, it's got my Jack angst ridden he won't do well. (friggin test) anyhow, I told him, if you do the best you can then you really can't fail. Sid, McRib is godawful.....it's not even real meat for gods sake....

Three quick gripes and I will rest.  First any out of work SEC/Notre Dame fans please head towards Bristol,Connecticut and ESPN will hire you on the spot.  That explains how Holtz and David Pollack still have jobs.

Second I wonder if the Lions were 10-2 would anyone be calling Suh a dirty player?  I think not.

Last but not least, their is no better feeling to me than to know that Rex Ryan and his overrated, loud-mouthed Jets are going to be home for the playoffs.

Good afternoon, Q'lets!

Had an okay weekend - went to Tacoma for the HS championship game. Our team lost - game was tied with 2 seconds left and they just couldn't stop the touchdown. The thing that was really cool though is that pretty much the entire town was there, and they all brought their drums and did this warrior chant thing a few times. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Then my Trever and I went a little crazy at Target and got some more decorations and another tree...we did get a holiday dress for Kiernan that we're going to wrap up for her, and have her unwrap it on the 21st. It'll be perfect for her to wear to The Nutcracker..awww.

I'm pretty excited for the weekend of the Seahawks game on the 23rd. We're heading over that Friday, going on one of the Christmas Cruises they have around the sound. On the ferry they will have dinner, a choir singing carols, Santa, a cookie station, and it's like a little parade of boats. We'll get to see homes all decorated on the waterfront and the Seattle skyline...it's going to be so pretty. And cold. Then Saturday we are going to the matinee showing of The Nutcracker, and after that we're going to go up in the Space Needle and look at the Seattle lights from above. Weeeeee! I know I don't like to plan, but around the holidays tickets go fast for all this stuff so I was forced. And Sunday...well...I just hope it's a great game. I know the Clink will be rockin'.

Yesterday's game left me exhausted. But oh-so happy.

I know this isn't 'Lib-tards", but I've got to ask...WTF did John Boehner and Mitch (Yertle) McConnell think the President  was doing
during the campaign..,.pulling their legs? The man campaigned on and was re-elected on a promise to raise the tax rate on the top 2%. If the Republicans in Congress were smart, they would stop holding their breath, and negotiate the tax raise from afffecting people making 250k. Try to get the President to agree to raising the level on people making 1m and up.

In this manner, both parties could claim a victory, and something would actually get done. And that is exactly why, IMHO, it will not get done.

Today was quite productive, even though I kind of sort of didn't go to work. I took a long walk for once, and found the following:
  • A used book store with so many books so indiscriminately organized I was overwhelmed
  • A beer and wine shop with beers I normally can't find outside of specialty bars (example: Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale)
  • Where the Jimmy John's coming to town is going to be
Thus, productive.

Also, it's disturbingly nice out. While one day of weather is a meaningless data point, remember that next time you talk to your local climate change denier.*

* If it wasn't obvious yet, remember that with me, everything is about politics.

I had company this weekend. He works at Vanguard, i.e. finance. Talking to him does not make me feel confident that those people should have as much power in our economy as they do.

Notre Dame/Alabama. Call it the Fan Arrogance Bowl.

This is an exaggerated version of it, but this is yet another reason of why I despise frat boy "bro" culture so much.

American Express is apparently desperate. They sent me a pre-approval for a Premium Rewards Gold Card. No thank you, I in fact do not want to pay $175 a year to pretend to be a big shot.

Good Afternoon, Everybodee!

Just finished gathering hours for payroll, while matching them up with daily logs for public works.   Only have a mild headache, instead of the major one from the last period.   My technician needs to amend a couple of the dailies..

Our parades were cancelled this weekend.  (We cancelled, not the parades.  Had a couple rain storms moving through, and these are brand new uniforms.  We also have a few kids who are sick, so we didn't want to aggravate their conditions.

74 degrees here today.  I had flip flops and capris on today.  That s**t is just not right.

I'm still pinching myself over the Sugar Bowl.  I'll be happy if we just beat the spread.

Christmas came to my life today.  My bff bought me a ticket to see Dave Matthews Band tomorrow night.  I was near clinical depression b/c I could not afford to go.

Later taters.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

It's still f**king cold here.  We still have a ton of snow and everyone forgot how to drive.  It's supposed to snow more tonight, just cuz we don't have nearly enough LMAO!!!

I'm really impressed that we are getting more and more eclectic beers in our store.  As I've said before, I kind of get to be the one who babysits our "imported" beer section, even tho it isn't really imported, it's just different.    As I said above, we have that Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale.  We also have Crooked Tooth, Innis & Gunn, Fraoch and many many more.

I bought a Christmas present today.  In fact, I bought two.  Yay me.

My son gets home in a little over two weeks.  Damn I miss him.

Have a great week all.  You are all awesome.  Oh, and March will be 5 years for me on the site, which is not bad for the token Canuck.
