Happy Monday, Q-Tips!

Hope you all had a great weekend!  Especially, you, Lainey!   I'm glad to see that you survived your Birthday bash! 

yesterday it was pushing 80 and humid as my mouth. today it's about 13 degrees (feels like -7) and blowy and spitty and gross and i felt like i was driving through the aftermath of some devastating holy war as all of the nativity scenes and their livestock are downed. it's pretty gruesome.

Ummm..yeah.  Was in the 70's here yesterday. Storms came around 9 but nothing super major....EXCEPT...the temp!  Is a windy, cloudy COLD day...only 38 right now and that's dropped since I got up at 7ish.  29 tomorrow night!  It just don't do this in Missippi til Feb or March.  I mean, we've had 2 or 3 snowy Christmases during my 50 some odd years but it's usually warm on Christmas.........60's or 70's.  Maybe it's the aging thing..can't take the cold, CRS and all that good stuff, rofl 

Morning.  Internet has reset so I am back for a minute before I run to work.  Was posting from the phone yesterday, which was not out of use time, so sorry if I missed anything.

Temperatures warmed up and now the f**king wind is blowing which means the roads will be pure hell.  I hate this country in winter.

My cat, Talladega, who wanted out desperately on Wednesday morning has not come home.  She goes thru these "fits" where she HAS to get outside for a few minutes, and I let her out, had my shower, and called for her to come back in.  Although we called constantly she has not returned.  The longest she has been out like this is three days and usually she comes back when the warmer weather comes.  Wednesday was two months to the day since Scooby was killed.  

Put the tree up yesterday and daughter decorated it.  She wanted to do it red and silver, so that's what we did.

Hola Q'Lets.

1 - Just, wow. As much as AZ has been struggling lately, I was not expecting that. They usually play the Hawks tough.
2 - We ran in to KJ Wright (#50, linebacker) in Chipotle in Tukwila last night. My husband said "dude...it's KJ Wright" under his breath, I looked up and tweeted (with an @ to Wright) that we were standing behind him and that I was a little starstruck. Thinking he'd catch it on twitter later. Nope, he's looking at his phone right in line and looks at me, smiles and says "You on twitter right now?" So busted. So embarrassed. He tweeted me back and then started talking to my husband while his family ordered.
3 - I somehow managed to get a tear in my bicep. I felt it happen when it happened, but I didn't know exactly what was going on. 
4- This flex schedule thing moving the Niners/Hawks game is bittersweet for me. I'm excited for another primetime game, and that I'll be there, but I'm not excited for the 4.5 hour drive home after the game. Trever has to work at 7am the next day :/
5 - Bout to start baking.

As for the QBucks thing - yea, it's not paying out on bets. I think it's been messed up since about Oct. 28 or 29th. They're working on syncing up the servers/dbs/whatever (contrary to popular belief, I'm not a bot and don't really know the terminology very well...I'm more of a liaison to the bots). If any of you have even a ballpark of how many QBucks you've lost/should have won, I will make sure you're credited.

ASTERISK: I used a small sample size of the people in here (F/E) and not the overall site stats, cuz I don't have them. But i'd like to consider regular contributors here as pros in the "show." <---- LOL, j/k

Q average of respects per post - 2.57 (or avg. respects)

Pretty much even.

This doesn't factor in PQ's as negatives, polls respected, etc. or even my totally subjective HCMDS Value**** (hot chick on a male dominated site bump.) I need Eric to get involved so we can do advanced metrics like VORP (Value Over Replacement Post), FanIQBR, some kind of PECOTA deal.



****UPDATE: I gave a 0.275 number for my HCMDS Value based on Leigh & Stoney's numbers. I find them similar contributors, but she gets a bump. I would expect the same but inverse if Stoney had a (female dominant) Pinterest feed.

I think those 2 (Leigh/Stoney) should be eliminated from the quotient- they both have what we ALL want

That's why they are comparable imo. They're VORP is higher than the avg. (subjectively based on content, humor, anecdotal takes, etc.) 

Oddly enough Jason has the highest AVG by a good margin. Semi controversial. He's like the Barry Bonds of Qbermetrics. Whispers of PED (Post Enhancing Drugs) are out there, but as yet no viable test exists. 

I think what skews my numbers is doing the Weekend Filter.

So, Awake was a weird but good show. Great, strange writing...Odd the first few eps, but great by the end. I just learned that it was cancelled. You know why? Because it was on f***ing NBC and that's what they DO!!!!! I knew I shouldn't have become vested in any series on that channel. Anything non stupid has been getting cancelled for YEARS! F*** you, NBC. I hate your stupid guts.

Meanwhile, Whitney and Up all night are still f***ing on. Buttholes.

Actually, creating a poll and putting your take in the body of the question cannibalizes the respects. For instance, Ash has a ridiculously low AVG because of that poll question/quick take combo. The respects are statistically cut in half (or more.)
