Chance to break Eric Dickerson's single season rushing record a year removed from having major knee surgery.  IMO, Peterson is hands down the MVP

It's looking like Peterson but I went with my Manning anyway.
Peyton Manning (Broncos)

As much of an impact as Peyton and the other's have made, no one has had the entie defense geared to stop them the way Peterson has had to deal with on offense.  As long as Christian Ponder is the qb in Minnesota, the Vikes will be one dimensional and rushing records will continue to be broken.

I agree, I believe Ponder would be in the same category as Mark Sanchez and the Arizona Cardinals' QBs if it wasn't for guys like Adrian Peterson, the Vikings are dead last in passing offense but their defense has played better this year.

There needs to be a separate award for best-at-your-position.

Unless a comet strikes ending human civilization, Peyon Manning MVP.

LOOOOVE me some AP.  But nobody talks about what, specifically, has led to AP putting up those numbers or how relevant they are in the grand scheme of things.   AP is a monster.  No one is disputing that.

What PFM is doing is simply unprecedented.  -and then some.

I WOULDNT BE SHOCKED if PETERSON and MANNING SHARED IT...BOTH have come back from MAJOR INJURIES and have been equally important to their teams success..........

The Vikings are 1 win away from being in the playoffs this year, all they have to do is beat the packers in week 17 and the vikings are in...
