Rest in Peace 2012 (Edited 01/01/13 12:02PM by SusanVette)
Whenever we reflect on any past year there is always a list of those we will miss(obituaries), 2012 turned out to be the one year where all my favorites passed away - On my profile photo is Jack Klugman(Dr.Quincy),really appreciated his acting performances whether an old Twilight Zone episode,as Oscar Madison in the 'Odd Couple' or as Dr.Quincy, also he did a very shortlived sit-com 'You Again'.
I am employed at Sacred Heart Hospital in Destin FL, perhaps because I like the classic stuff that I found a photo of 70s TV stars on Fan IQ and placed that pic on my profile...on December 24th I learned that Mr. Klugman passed away, somehow that coincided with all the celebrities passings of 2012.

Imagine New Year's Rockin Eve without Dick Clark.

If there is a noted individual(s) you'll miss please let me know. Larry C

Liz Taylor died in March...unless your counting the Lindsay Lohan movie

Michael Clark Duncan by far is the one that affected me the most.  He was simply amazing.

Donna Summer and Whitney Houston

Andy Griffith

and I didn't know Liz Taylor had died, or if I did I forgot.

In my little world I lost two incredible people and both of them were in the last two weeks.  So Molly and Gonzo, here's to you both.

Jesus Ortega, in case you don't know who he is here is a quote from him.

"Here's to Huevo and Pat, I may be chubby, but those two f**kers are fat!"-Jesus Ortegas

He could always make me laugh and on the anniversary of Pat's death, just thinking of this quote makes me smile and enables me to deal with the loss of both of them tolerable. If it helps, he is the one in the middle wearing the Mets hat, not his team he just loved baseball.

So I learned, the day before this poll. Apparently I had forgotten, and we saw her on a commercial and someone said "Isn't she dead, she shouldn't be in commercials?". So, I said "What?! She's not dead, you just saw her!!" He said "So, you don't remember she died?!" I am laughing and insisting that she is NOT dead. Google said I was wrong. Soooo, mourning.

I didn't know Liz Taylor died.....always thought she was so pretty even in her elder years.

We lost a dear friend just before Christmas. 47 yrs old to a freak accident.. His wife, who was one of my closest friends, moved back to Michigan where their children live so I  lost her too in a way...can't just ride to town and visit.

Lost 2 cousins - Martha and David, to hereditary heart disease that's slowly taking all my family.

Michael Clarke Duncan - I still cry when I see movies he's in.
Whitney Houston - a beautiful lady with a beautiful voice, taken way too soon in such a sad way..

RIP dear ones, until we meet again!
