Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Morning. You look nice.

This play CAN NOT be overstated.

In real time I wasn't sure wtf happened. Just unreal. They need to let Clowney play at a higher age group or something like in Pop Warner, before one of the other kids out there gets killed.

Merry New Year!

But google says it's a hoax.. you know you can't put anything on the internet that's true

I'd have more, but 2013 is the Stoney year of indifference

New movie blog coming tonight, but it will be a DVD/Streaming post this week

Gale Sayers again!  I am THIRD!

Afternoon Q'ers!  Sitting at lunch, enjoying pizza...

A little slow today.  In my practice, a lot of my patients are Medicare patients who can come in once every 9 weeks.  Well, 9 weeks ago today we were just out of Hurricane Sandy and I was off for the week.  I pay for it now, because those people I would have seen during that week are coming in next week.  I have time to mess around here.  Wanted to be first in the filter today, but made a music poll...Opening Lines...check it out here...http://www.faniq.com/poll/Opening-Lines-to-Songs-1213-1992--1448758

I am proud of the performance Huskers put up against Georgia.  I will say I am disappointed that instead of giving ball to Burkhead on short yardage play, they instead gave it to Abdullah who for some reason would rather leave his feet for 1 yard rather than simply lower his head and plow ahead.  His fumble turned the momentum of the game back towards Georgia, and then the secondary of Huskers simply showed they weren't up to par.

Please don't tell me how much better SEC teams are than the rest of the country.  Yes you have the cream of the crop the last 5 years, however Nebraska,Michigan and Northwestern all played right with three of your elite, and were 11 seconds away from being 2-1.  Also Oklahoma and Notre Dame have very legitimate chances against Texas A&M and Alabama in games upcoming.

I apologize to the few of you that follow me on Pinterest. It's way too slow here, and I have TONS of work to do which means I'm not going to do it. I'm probably about to go on a pinning rampage. You may want to unfollow me for a few days.

The best part of the kids being here for the holidays, is the amount of time they are not here.  <--sarcasm.

Taking Joel to spend the night at a friends.   Rachel hasn't even shown up.  Still wants her presents though.  I'm mailing them.

Marcus, waiting on a dead pool.  C'mon.

Leading off mine with

The rest of the NHL season

I made a prediction poll instead and left an open "other" for that. I thought a Dead Pool (poll) was a little too dark for the locker room.

Gun to my head (my annual draft w/ friends is this weekend, lol): Heff, just got married. That young gold digger may know something we don't? May be my first rounder if he's still on the board.

I like your style, but I like my 1st round picks to be a little safer.  Zsa Zsa Gabor has to be the #1 overall pick

Who's my super sleeper you ask? So many wrestlers die every year thanks to years of steroid abuse.  This year I'm going with 55 year old, Bret the Hit Man Hart

I'm back from Ohio, which leaves me wondering when the optimal time to go grocery shopping is.

It is so so cheap in NE Ohio. It's glorious.

Outside of when we went out, we didn't do a lot expect watch bad reality shows on cable. I went from having never seen Storage Wars to seeing about 10 of them. Also, don't watch Mystery Diners on Food Network. It's stupid and almost certainly fake. I'm talking the end of my "How Staged is This Reality Show" scale might have to end with it now instead of Hardcore Pawn.

I am certain that Peterson will run for 250 on Saturday and eliminate the Packers.

They are all staged or scripted even. My cuz's friend (producer on a wildly popular reality show) hung out one night and she was talking about how they needed to hire new writers and episode producers for the upcoming season. I don't watch the show, made an insane plot / story arc pitch and she said "Nah, we tried it Season 2 and couldn't get it to work right."

So I can't count on you to calibrate my scale then, because I don't want to watch that much reality TV? Because I was literally about to ask you for your help on that.

Nothing can possibly be more fake than Amish Mafia.

Funny how the Discovery Channel/Learning Channel programs have absolutely 0 to do with their Network names.

The scale is probably the opposite, how NOT staged is the reality show. They use a lot of behind the scenes "she said this" rumors with cast members to rile them up and provoke confrontations and sometimes one person is in on it, but not the others. They end up being the stars. Amarosa, the Real housewife with the talk show, the one on the sit com now, Kate + 8, etc. All drove the BS writers came up with.

Pinch me.  Go ahead.  I'm watching the sugar bowl and the score is 30-10.  Florida's up, right?  NO, BITCHES.  It's Louisville.  Representing.

I went to the basketball game tonight w/my friend Paige.  Then we went to The Cardinal HOF Cafe to watch the first half.  Drove home at halftime.  I can't believe what I'm seeing, and yet I can.

I hated today.

1.  My son went back to work in camp today, for another 4 weeks

2.  My friend Gonzo's son went to see his dad's body today.  Gonzo will be cremated tomorrow.  No service, but we are going to have a huge outside firepit/quad/horseback party in the spring, in his honor.

3.  the dog across the alley who had 9 puppies on Saturday was euthanized today.  Yesterday she tried to bite the little girl who lives half a block away.  When they first moved in the dog went after one of my cats and I stopped her, but I guess they can't be bothered to train the dog, just kill her.  The mom who lives there is apparently going to hand feed the puppies and has taken two months off work to do so.  I don't like her any more.  I believe they have made a huge mistake and I don't want my daughter to take one of the puppies any longer, but I guess I don't have a say any more.  Her father has decided if she is paying for the puppy herself she should have it.

4.  I have a total of 10 hours work next week according to the new schedule.

I need a vacation.
