You Only Get One Shot 2...
If you still care, the Broncos, Patriots, Ravens, Packers, Falcons, Texans, Seahawks, and 49ers are still in the hunt for the Super Bowl Championship. (I only had to change 2 teams from last year, and I remembered this poll on it's anniversary. ha.)

Tell me who plays in that game, and who wins it.

Going against the grain here, but ......DEN - SEA

DENVER wins!  Manning is SB MVP!  And stories will be told for decades about his triumph comeback to win the SB.

I would love to see HOU-SEA  or HOU-ATL

I'm tired of seeing the same teams in it, so, I will be rooting against NE & GB!

Seattle over Pats in an all-timer.

I"ve been on the DangeRuss bandwagon since mid August. Can't get off now, can I? Hell I'm getting retweets, faves & follows from #12thMan on twitter, lol... and those peeps are LUNATICS! (I think you retweeted something in OCT. then, boom! ha)

Just so you know, my nephew is having a Sopie's Choice dilemma over the Russ home or away jersey for his bday. I sent him the link for the 3rd alternate one, now he has trouble sleeping at night.

49ers versus Broncos with the Broncos winning is about the only matchup that my stomach can take watching. I hope all the other team buses(except the Ravens) blow up this weekend!

If it helps, that wolf grey one is the most awesome up-close-and-personal. I was going to get that color for #12 jersey, but I'm not good with light colors. They're a magnet for disaster for me, so I went with the navy.

BRONCOS............31...............49ERS............24.............
#11 | 564 days ago

The only teams I see winning the NFC are Seattle and GB.... naturally I'm going with the Seahawks (I know, I'm a homer.... but I don't care!!)  The AFC will come down to the Pats and Broncs.... I'm going with home field.  SB champs... no suprise here.....

GO SEAHAWKS YOU SON OF A B!TCH!!!

On another note, Marcus, I'm loving the moniker "DangeRuss".... It's so cool for my team to have nicknames like "Beast Mode", "Optimus Prime" and "The Legion of Boom".  Adding "DangeRuss" to it almost makes me forget about "The Boz"........ almost

I'm rooting for a Houston-Atlanta matchup....not sure who I'd want to win, though.  I don't THINK Houston is playing well enough now to beat NE in NE....but...a guy can hope.  I'm waiting for Seattle to lay an egg (same with Denver) along the line here....I just want to see some good, competitive football!

I just found out my niece has scheduled her daughter's christening for...you got it...Super Bowl Sunday!  The Christening is set for 1 pm...dinner afterwards will take it to about 4 or 5 or 6....just in time to go home and watch the Super Bowl.  WTF is it with these family members (wife's family) not realizing the importance of FOOTBALL?  One niece got married OPENING DAY 2010...brother in law scheduled his mother's surprise 80th birthday party last year during CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND...at 4 PM!  Missed end of Cheatriots-Ravens and most of Niners-Giants..Oh well, I'm glad they moved Super Bowl to Prime Time (it used to be at 2 or 3 in the afternoon).
Texans, Watt!!...

I'm thinking deja vu from the late 90's

My prediction is a rematch of #32 from back in '98 with a similar score

Broncos 31 - Packers 24

if not, it could be a rematch from the following year: Broncos 34 - Falcons 19

or a rematch from the year before - Packers 35 - Patriots 21. I probably won't even watch much of it, if it comes down to these two, I'm getting sick of seeing the same teams each year.

or even a rematch from #24 between the 49ers and Broncos, but this time Denver will put an end to San Fran's distinguishment of being the only undefeated multiple Super Bowl team

I'm rooting for the Falcons or Texans because they've never won before, or even the Seahawks if they have it in them.
My money is on Manning and the Broncos' defensive line.
I'm just not sold on Kaepernick as a Super Bowl quarterback, but anything unpredictable could happen in the playoffs, and there's been far worse QBs who've won it (e.g. Trent Dilfer)

I said numerous times this year that if the Steelers couldn't win it, I wanted to see Houston go all the way.  I'm sticking to that.
