 Took a buddy to a local pub last night for large pizza and to play some keno.  Pizza was okay, didn't win at keno, however I was introduced by him to 2 shots of something called Screech Rum.  Had never had it before, but suddenly I went home and had a huge craving for some Apple Pie.  Thank goodness it was only 2 shots, anymore and we might have been closing the place down.
I did it my way...(for my over 35'ers whoop, whoop!)

 I just read the "manifesto" of Christopher Dorner who is the target of a massive manhunt in Cali.  It reads like a revenge movie that I would pay to see.  I would not want to be on the list of the people who have wronged this guy

Now they better reward him with some damn offense. The Mariners have this odd habit of grooming great young players in the farm league and then getting rid of them. It's infuriating.

 Facebook is not working for me at all today.  Frustrating as hell, because all I have done recently is install the AdBlocker on Google Chrome. ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Follow my instructions carefully and it'll be like we're drinking together:

1 - Get your shot glass
2 - Cut your lemon - coat the edge of the empty shot glass with lemon
3 - Tip shot glass upside down into a saucer of sugar, so you have a nice little lemon-sugar rim goin on
4 - Roll a lemon wedge in the sugar
5 - Pour vodka into your lemon-sugar rimmed shot glass

 Good Afternoon, Everybodee!

My van started giving me problems last night.  Started squealing like a stuck pig, and decided to act like it didn't have power steering.    I was able to make it home, and it stopped some of its squealing.    My wife and I started to take it over to our mechanic, so he could look at it this morning when he got in, and for the most part, the squealing stopped, and I was able to steer.    We dropped it off so he could look at it anyway.

Turns out the belt is worn, so that and something dealing with the idle gear is being replaced.   At least I'm dealing with this now, instead of this weekend when I'm up in LA with the kids.


On a side note, anybody have any suggestions for cheap/free entertainment/activities for a Sunday morning for 4 or 5 teenage girls in Los Angeles?   Our schedule for their Honor Band shtuff has them starting at 1:30PM,  so I've got a morning to burn.

I just saw a magazine picture of his daughter Willow.  That man needs to maybe sit his daughter down and spend some quality time with her because she has absolutely lost her mind.  I would hate to see her turn into Achy Break Heart Girl 2.0

 I saw Bill Gates today on his yacht.  Or more like a Navy Destroyer with a Blackhawk type  helicopter on the deck.
I would have taken a picture, but I was too stunned and just stood there like all the old people were with my mouth open.

Other than that it's hot as balls.
Heard the N.E. is getting a snowstorm.  That's unfortunate.

(Although other than him, I'm not recalling the M's trading any young hitters that did anything later. I just know they can't seem to develop any young hitters.)

 Today the head of the agency talked to each department about the upcoming sequester and the plan, which of course, means furloughs. Real fun.

Community returns tonight. I know realistically that I can't expect the show to be the same without Dan Harmon, and that it wouldn't be fair to the new showrunners to expect that, because it would be impossible to replicate. That said, judging by what I've read about the new season, it's going to be disappointed. I just hope Community's ratings aren't so bad it hurts Parks and Rec's ratings.

You think Willow has lost her mind because of a picture? Google image her. Since she was very small, she's been very free and expressive with her style. As I understand it, her parents encourage that. Now, she may indeed end up as a basket case, spoiled rich kids tend to turn out that way, but this is also the same child who "supposedly" turned down the lead in a movie so she can just "be 12". lol. Now, that boy...gonna be hell.

I guess my perspective is that with all the gossip over the years regarding her parents and to be honest their "unique" parenting skills, I wouldn't be shocked by either one of their kids being on a Jerry Springer episode or one of those celebrity kids turned bad shows.  I hope I am wrong.
