Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

*I'm pretty sure stoney has lied to us all again. I've been waiting on a review for about a month.
*I hate comcast.
*hayden is dating klitscho? :/ I know she likes them older but can they not look a mess? ew. and also *mary-kate's whoever is 112! wow. I skimmed a People if you can't tell. I never know anything so I spend the whole time going "they're dating?" "he's married?" "when was she pregnant?" then I repeat the process 6 - 18 mos later.
*google play free books... i appreciate you.
*Psych slumber party tomorrow :)

Enjoy your day.

I would guess cause it's so slow these days. (doesn't help that I put this poll up at random times, I'm sure)

So, my wife cut her hair off for that movie and she still looks fantastic with her little cropped do right now. But, that's not why I'm here. Did I know we had a little black baby?! That just makes it easier for me to slide right into our family photos.
#4 | 430 days ago

I'm still here..
I think people may have tried as a new years resolution to spend less time on the interwebs.. I don't know

Congratulations to everyone out there drinking the Oscar Pistorius kool-aid during the olympics as he killed his girlfriend last night.  I really hope it was because she was making fun of his magic shoes

Avs play tonight, and I will not be subjecting myself to it as I will be playing in a game that may be more competitive at the same time

Burning Love season 2 on yahoo is fantastic

I really don't think the perks to being a wallflower are really perks at all

happy hallmark day

did you know that lysol was original developed as an aborting agent?

Happy National Chocolate, Flower, Restaurant and Greeting Card Company day to you all!

If this is true, this would explain why I have not had so much as a cold in years!

In case you are wondering if your 39 cents a day helps, it would appear it actually does.

I honestly couldn't give too snots about Valentine's Day, and I have forgotten my wedding anniversary about half as many years as we've been married. I was actually talking to my husband about that last night - it must be because he's so sweet to me all year long that I don't crave a special day. However, we do use the day as an excuse to blow money. We got each other weapons this year - yes, we're odd. Going to the range to shoot and pick up some stuff tonight and then have dinner while we're there.

Oh...I did get conversation hearts. Mmmmm. heart

I stopped in a gas station this morning for my Buttered Rum Coffee like concoction and a long john doughnut when I overheard a conversation that got me thinking.  The clerk said that her husband took her to Zales and Helzberg Diamond stores, but that she kept telling him I don't like anything here.  She then continued by saying she made him take her to 2-3 other stores, before she finally "allowed him" to buy her something she liked.  I must admit, I can now understand why so many men hate Valentine's Day.  I have 2 questions regarding this situation to ask ladies?

First of all, should this man be given automatic permission to ever buy her anything other than a gift certificate in the future so she can buy her own jewelry?

2nd, does anyone ever give their children this same amount of freedom when buying christmas/birthday gifts?

Because now that he got down on one knee, she will never again have to get down on two!

Whatup?
Chicken Parm Day is extra special this week cause it's All-Star weekend eve in H-Town too. Not going to the game, the 3-point shootout, none of that stuff, but there's gonna be some parties to attend. And I don't mean the "P Diddy, Jay-Z, arm-and-a-leg" affairs all the cameras will be following. Ah, good times
Speaking of  "months of abuse", pichers & catchers have showed up which means base a ball is a back. And this is the Astros flagship season i the American League and in the famous words of Han Solo, "I've got a bad feeling about this" (good to be a Yankees fan).
Oh yeah, since today is also V-Day, ...(prepare rimshot)
choose me.

Lemme play devil's advocate in this episode of Luv & Order... Maybe her husband hooked up with her hot cousin or random Denny's waitress, she busted him while fiddling with his celly and this is her way to twist the knife a bit as part of the 'reconciliation?" Plausible doubt.

...or she's just a complete b!tch.

Well if that's the case, she's going about it all wrong. She should have kicked him to the curb and used the $$ from the divorce settlement to go shopping for her own damn ring.

Also...this is a gas station clerk? And her husband's taking her to a bunch of jewelry stores and she's being picky? 'da eff? I need to know more about this situation. Why, if they have the money for her to be a snot about diamonds, is she working as a gas station clerk? And "allow him" to buy her something? Does she lock him up and hit him too?

or they've both come to the realization that he completely outkicked his coverage and she's holding that over his head for the rest of his life until he mentally breaks or files bankruptcy

Objection! Her vocation has nothing to to in this matter, neither do the "possible" terms of this hypothetical agreement.

I also want that last part about her incarcerating and beating him stricken from the record... goes to character.

my co-worker i share an office with got engaged. in my face. i didn't think this thing actually happened. i have been surrounded by squealing females and running mascara all f**king day.

it wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that i spent my lunch defining "chauvinist" to my boyfriend.

then i got my valentine. it's an up-nostril picture he took of himself trying to make a heart shape with his arms (i think). the best part is i got to laugh and feel squishy. and it made the squealing way less squealy.

tomorrow i'm buying myself a hula hoop, going to the boyfriend's jam and getting hammered drunk at the place i used to work, with folks i used to love getting hammered drunk with. and not that i'm an expert or anything, but i think there should be greetings cards and chocolates for that.

Tonight I find out if my sisters are finally healthy at the same time, and thus can come visit this weekend. Tomorrow I see Nick Offerman regardless, as this time I actually double, triple, and quadruple checked the date and time.

Given this is an online community of essentially all strangers, I highly recommend this article about online friendships.

If you haven't checked out the guy who won the Jeopardy Teen Tournament yet, do so. The Tournament of Champions started last night, aka Nerd World Series.

Update: The girls are healthy (or close to it), but a week of preteen attitudes means they will not be spending the night, and it will just be a day visit on Sunday.
