the emperor of an Imperial Republic was defeated by some "Rebel scum" freeing the galaxy from a tyrannical evil Sith Lord. 

Man, I wish I had been there to see it.

I wish I could have been at Gettysburg, PA July 1-3, 1863....it was 100 years before I was born, but would have loved to have seen what was happening.  Also, for Lincoln's Gettysburg Address on November 19, 1863 (I USED to think that Lincoln actually had a physical address in Gettysburg...couldn't understand why it was so famous, other than like a "Washington Slept Here" sign at some of the old inns around here).
