I hit mine about as often as we see Haley's Comet or Cubs win a world series.

I've always been confused as to what exactly the "peak" is - Highest libido? Most fertile? I'm sure I could find out with a bit of research but that's neither here nor there. I think that the numbers you have up there seem about right from what I've read in the past but it was more of a range...men from about 18 - 22 and women from about 27 - 35-ish. Something like that. If it's libido, mine started earlier than that and hasn't quit so obviously there are exceptions.

I've been with my husband almost 13 years and we've been married 11...I hope I'm not in the same boat as Kurt in another 12, but the rate we're going I highly doubt it. I don't think marriage is always a downer where that's concerned.

This is going to sound a little harsh- but I've been married once. After 4 years, we stopped having sex- well, let's change that- I stopped, she didn't. I'd say that after the first couple of years, if a couple is sexually satisfied, there are mitigating circumstances. 1) one of them is cheating 2) He's being fed prozac and rendered frigid or 3) They haven't had children yet.

Or 4, they actually like each other.

As I understand it, boys have their peak in the late teens-early 20's and women in the early to mid 30s. It's due to some hormonal crap or something. I don't really recall.

As far as marriage affecting that, I'm pretty sure that's correct. I know a lot of married people, and with the exception of Jess and Trever, I'm pretty sure their sex life is crap. It's pretty sad and one reason I'm not a fan of marriage, and I understand why husbands (and some wives but mostly husbands..cause these women are ***holes) end up running around in the street. Sex is important, and love isn't a substitute... not at most of our ages right now at least.

i just want to say in my first marriage, which lasted 15 years, it wasn't me not wanting to have sex, it was just, he was to busy having sex with everyone else indecision

I know what the "experts" say, but if you have a partner that makes you feel sexy, it usually translate into more sex no matter how long you have been together. My Aunt and Uncle were married for almost 45 years and they had a very healthy sex life. My Aunt said it was all because my Uncle looked at her, like it was the first time he saw her. (aww, true love story with those two)

married for 33 years and we never reach the peak.  compare sex to standing at the base of Mt Everest and staring at the top.   you dream about what it's like but we'll never get to plant our pole. cool

well my wife and have been married 45 years and still in love we are still active but not as much as before it has a lot to do with the fact we are 63and 67 years old. we enjoy sex but believe me there is so much more to a happy relationship than sex, thats is hard to believe when you are in your 30's and hormones are running rampant but make to our age and you will see it happen, god bless all of you guys
