Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

I feel like crap. I may die today. If so, get happy drunk. I don't like mean or whiny drunks.

I started the book but my stupid stuffy cloudy head was f***ing with my eyes so I didn't read enough. I love that I can know I've read a book but when I start again, I never remember the details so it's always like the first time. Weird considering my crazy memory. It's also been a while since I held a hardback book in my hand. Felt nice. I need some vodka and orange juice and a certain man to come spoil take care of me.

my teams play tonight, go them. i'll be laying on the sofa looking like death assuming im still alive.

Congrats to all teams who have gotten a ticket to the Big Dance, especially Creighton.  Also a big shout out to 15-20 Liberty getting money to be a 16 seed and receive big money to lose by fifty.

Feel better chick.

I have forgotten just how expensive it is for a high school graduation.   The invitation's  for  the party, the pictures, the dress for the pictures, the dress for the graduation, the food for the party,  the alcohol for the party.  indecision

Tangent-form-last-night-Tuesday:

If Michael Jackson actually liked girls [citation needed], then Suit & Tie would have been a perfect song for him 20 years ago with, say, Big Daddy Kane. We decided it would be a great leitmotif for Back to the Future 5. Marty's son Mikey McFly (Justin Beiber) goes back this time to early 90's, performs the song for whatever reason at a HS thing and Jacko's cousin Marvin (music teacher) calls him and tells him about a "new sound he was looking for." Then during the credits it's revealed that JT's version w/Jay Z is a cover and tribute to Jackson, who in that alternate timeline was/is considered an 'all-time' ladies man. (The audience would really laugh, right?)

I'm 100% positive that's how horrible movies get pitched and green lit. I need 200 Million dollars to make this happen. the other 88 minutes in the film will just work itself out. Actually, Stoney, why is Mikey going back to 1993 in the first place?

...mountain dew comacho

hi gang.. Avs look to continue their winning ways tonight as they take on the Oilers.  Gotta win games like these to get in and stay in the playoff hunt with the season being halfway over.

On the flip side, congratulations to the Denver area meteorologists for their second consecutive miss. Last Saturday we were supposed to get 8-14" of snow, then powwibly up to 19.  We got about 4-5 and it was so warm the 2 days before that it didn't even stick to the roads or sidewalks.  Then I woke up this morning to head to my B&I meeting and it's snowing and the roads are sh*tty with no warning whatsoever.  Well played.  Now I'm nervous when they say it's supposed to be 75 this weekend

Bernard Hopkins won't be able to say his own name in 3 years

I need to find a way to get diet mtn dew into more fountain settings

Love it! The Andromeda Strain plot! ...but let's make it Zombie-Aids (popular right now) so Mikey went back to get his Dad and Doc Brown to find a cure pre-ZombAids STD pandemic.

When we win an Oscar for this script, I'll let you go first so that I'll be the loser that gets played off.

Free Agency Frenzy Live Thread - I'll be there all day adding updates as they happen...there are a LOT of Free Agents; some notable, some not so much, but it should be a busy day. I worked my tail off last night gathering and organizing lists of players (I'm sure I forgot some, so please feel free to mention them in the comments) and then fought my laptop for over an hour this morning just to be able to open up my browser and email. All of this, and we have no Starbucks in town, so I hope to see you there.

The 2013 NFL season is set to officially begin at 4pm eastern time...let's do this.

My grade school buddy just DM'd me asking if I remember doing some of our first communion prep-trips to Grand Séminaire de Montréal? I said yeah, why? One of the professors/priest/dudes who gave us tours, talks and did morning mass etc. might be the next Pope? ('memba Pere Ouellete?? The hockey, St. Sulpice guy?) A quick Google search and dayyyyyyyyyyyum... kinda looks like him. I guess? Who knows?

QMZ is efforting to confirm this through other friends and family.

I am at the library, pretending like I'm doing homework.  And once again, I am coughing like I have tuberculosis, which I'm not complaining about b/c there are no cute girls here today and I don't want any one of these fools within 50 feet of me.  It's obvi the seasons are changing.  Or maybe that's just the Ohio Valley Crud rising up in me above "normal" levels.

I feel an epic crafting marathon coming on.

And has Louisville really played their last home basketball game?frown<------That does not do my level of sadness any justice.  I'll have to fix that s**t when I get home.

Stoney, have you discovered any "she's so completely hot that no one has a chance with her" chicks lately?  I can't say I'd mind if you posted another pic of that last one.  (Where is the "pretty please" Janet's batty eyes emote?)....

Ok.  Time to truly get busy.  You peeps behave or I'll bite a peep's head off.

Good Afternoon, Everybodee!

Checking my answering machine I had a message last week from the high school, "Your student has been assigned detention, due to acquiring 5 tardies".    Hmmm, first question I had was which student??  I have 2 still attending.      I called the attendance office, and she checked.  Neither one.  Must have been an error.   I did ask if she could pass on to the powers that be to actually name the student in question.  (I have the same issue when they call saying my student has been assigned Homework Center as well.)

Yesterday I somehow got sucked into a Bar Rescue marathon, even though none of the episodes were the one I really need to see, the infamous pirate bar one (which sits 5 or 6 blocks from where I live, and no I've never been there).

So, here's my first really large baseball preview, covering the AL Central. I see it basically landed with a thud. Am I that boring?

*thinks about it*
