We Can Work It Out
I've been singing The Beatles  all day, but that's beside the point.  I just bought an ipod (i know!) and I want to download some good workout music.  Help me out, people.  Help me get my butt off the couch and easin' on down the road.  Tell me what songs motivate you to work out.

It's odd but Eminem albums usually do. And any southern dance rap nonsense.

Hmm, I just read the intro after I typed this, so this wasn't useful. Uhh, Til I Collapse.

haha @ the timing - I just got my Beachbody Rockin' Body dvds in today! So excited.

That said...hmm....I don't know how I can help. Anything belly music does it because it makes me want to shimmy and shake but I doubt that's helpful. Dance music -  especially Beyonce. Even a little bit of Tiesto (shaddup). I dunno - my iPod with my workout playlist is in the truck and the truck is with my husband. I may get back with you.

Okay, so I know I'm 92 and all, so forgive me if I still love to work it to Led Zeppelin and Billy Idol.

But I can work out to almost anything.

That's why I don't workout, I just realized that I don't know any good workout songs! Now if I can just learn some, I can start getting into a different shape. Since round is a shape afterall.

dubstep gets my beast blood pumping. and it doesn't tempt me to sing along, and not having to worry about that means more focus on worrying about flinging my ipod or falling on my face.

also, there's a site called jog.fm where it'll take your mile time and set you up with a massive list that'll keep you in the right tempo. it's fairly badass.

Don't worry, Jess, I downloaded some Tiesto, too.

You all have given me some good ones.

I can bring my electric guitar and amp over. I have seen that when I crank it up with a lot of distortion and play licks on the guitar for a few hours, folks can get enough energy to run through walls trying to get away.

Other than that, old school funk (Earth, Wind, and Fire, Ohio Players, The Gap Band, etc) can get me moving around.
