Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Man, it is the story of my life. I was...

from a BJ in this poll.

Dang it.

I need the NFL draft date to get closer than it is. Tony G, sign a contract with the Falcons today and I will totally forget about the BJ I missed earlier in here.

Braves, OMG!

Ashlie, OMG!

Teach, hiii...

Other folks, hey y'all.

I have just downloaded an app that will let me record mp3s on my phone. I think I am going to have fun with that thing.

Have a great weekend, I miss you guys. Oh, I have some spots in a fantasy baseball league, if someone(s) is/are interested.

Later.

I had thirty kiddos
Then one was un-enrolled by a couple of weirdos
She tried another school
But they shooed them away like a fool
Her daughter's coming back, but not to me or will she....who knows, up...down, just like a yoyos

lame......but that sums up my day yesterday.
I miss 2012 Quick, Mitchell, and Greene.
I'm wearing green today.
Anyone else get Monday off? Peace Day?

Wait..are we supposed to wear green today or Sunday?
#7 | 586 days ago

(Edited by Debi_L)
I am wearing a green bra today, that's all i'm allowed.

I found out yesterday my son has a thing for redheads, frecklebreasts and long legs.  Boobs are okay too, but he isn't overly concerned with them.

I'm not sure how this happened.  His father only has a thing for skanks (other than me of course)

Normally St. Patty's Day is very depressing for me because it is my birthday, and it reminds me how far I live from my family/close friends.  This year though I am planning on spoiling my friend's daughter Jocelyn  on her birthday (b. 3/16/12.)  I finally feel like I have someone I can give even a little part of my huge heart to.  Call me cheesy or weak I don't care.  For anyone like me who doesn't have kids/ or has kids that live so far away you never see them I think you will understand my feelings.

I think you can begin today and just carry the celebration over through Sunday. At least that is the way I'm working it.

And on another note, the Falcons signed Steven Jackson. I likie.

Haven't forgot the Kentucky tune for ya, Jason.

Good news? we won our hockey game last night and we are staying alive in the playoffs
Bad news? our next game is Saturday night at 7:15.. Seriously? On St. Patrick's day weekend? On the day we were going to hit the downtown festivities for a buddy's bachelor party. Ugh
Oh well, at least I don't have a conflict with my tee time tomorrow morning

The Avs lost last night and luckily I didn't have to subject myself to it

I'm getting very eager for opening day.. That weekend should be good.  I have tickets to the Rockies home opener on Friday April 5, my baseball season starts on Sunday the 7th and my newest nugget nephew is due the 8th

I had the urge to run a guy off the road last night.. Guy in a bright orange Lotus with the license plate "TEABAGU". Douchetastic

I want to do a 24/7 on your hockey team leading up to or during a tournament or something. Please tell me you show up to games fast walking in a super-dap-Henrik-Lundquist-suit, skinny tie, grey beanie (maybe a weird, long duster & scarf?) and a huge cup of coffee?

Shouldn't Hockey Night in Canada or NBCSportsNet hire some hottie to interview players in the tunnels pregame and ask them questions like "Jonathan! Jonathan! Who are you wearing tonight?"

I need to produce hockey pregame shows.

Beware the Ides of March.....WTF ever that means! (I know, I know...it's the day that they founded Little Caesars Pizza- "Pizza Pizza")

Afternoon Q'ers!  Someday, this weather is gonna break.  It's windy out.  I want me some 60 degree weather!

Had a Rotary Club function last night at a placeon the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach-they rebuilt part of the Sandy ravaged areas.  It was a nice affair, but there is just so much devastation present.

Mother  in law is doing better.  Today, she gets transferred to rehab.  They wanted her to go to rehab but she said "No No NO!"...er...wait...that's for the opening lines poll....

Here's today's pic..enjoy it

I KNEW Hilary looked like someone, but I just couldn't place it...

It will be interesting to see what he can do when he doesn't have 10 or 11 guys on the defense keying on him on every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down.

I understand what those stats are implying but still, I am a little moist about the transaction.

Only on the occasional game where I show up right after work..

It's actually a lot like this (Ramsay Downholers web series), but with better hockey

4th qtr w/ lead T.o.P., redzone rush yardage and 1st down %/rush will all improve dramatically with him. Ugh for moi. I kinda liked knowing Turner, who ran like he was in a swimming pool, was out there.

He has been a great player no doubt about it. BUT he also has a whole lot of wear and tear on him now from all these years in StL having to take on so much of that offense and his numbers have gone down consistently now over last 4 seasons. It is very likely that at 30 he is running out of gas and is at point of hitting that wall that all RB's hit.  Will he be better then Turner probably so but will it be enough to warrant the cap hit , doubtful. .

Not to mention that offense is not this teams problem , its that jello defense and now that they have used up a lot of cap space with Gonzo coming back and now Jackson they are spending it in locations that simply were not what's killed them the last couple seasons. They have way more holes to fill on D and now way way less cap space to fill em. Much like the Saints they should be focusing majority of cap space on defensive upgrades , but well indecision now they will settle for signing much lower end replacements on that side of the ball.

Come Sunday yes, but since there is one thread covering both days then I guess if people choose to post on Saturday. What can you do to stop them?

On the plus side, the advanced stats (which Numbers Never Lie used to talk about until it became another stupid debate show with no actual stat people) from last year are a huge advantage for Jackson.

Jackson: 147 DYAR (10th in the league), 5.3% DVOA (11th)
Turner: -78 DYAR (3rd worst in the league among qualifiers*), -16.5% DVOA (37th of 42 qualifiers)

* The two worse than Turner were Rashad Jennings and Darren McFadden.

The bigger issue is that Jackson will be 30, which means he could fall off a cliff at any moment, but for now, it looks he's still got it, even if his traditional numbers are hurt by the rest of the Rams' offense.

In other news...

I definitely needed to beware the Ides of March at work. I walked into a mess, as did my new boss, who just got promoted two months ago. Welcome to management!

There's been a lot of carnage in the mid and low-major conference tournaments so far. It's basically ended any hope a 16 beats a 1 this year, and it's moving up teams that should 15s and 16s up, which means less likely upsets next week.

Can I stay up for the Australian Grand Prix? Signs point to no.

I was actually going to go into this city this weekend, then remembered it was St. Patrick's Day on Sunday, meaning the party probably started 4 hours ago. Pass.

Got bored waiting for friend, started roaming the Q NFL polls, found this gem which never closes and has been open for years. There's the Beans option (wait, what?), it's about cricket or something, all kinds of 'lost in translation' going on, 1220 day old comments and a glorious kicker by BDV4U. It's my new happy place.

Q'rs!
Thanks Marcus (i got the giggles)

It was and still is a gorgeous day here, so I spent some time outdoors, kinda weeding and kinda sitting on my ass, boys had a blast running around and I got their water guns out for even more fun...cleaning the bbq, going to grill some burgers, corn on the cob and toss a salad around. Cheers to you!

Hello out there in FanIQ Land!  I started presenting a new power point at work this week about policies and procedures and already the first group had someone who knew the "no smoking when you're not idle" applied directly to her.  I had to be the equipment runner today because our usual girl had the day off.

Tug got stuck in an elevator, the Pens are on a 7-game winning streak, and I'm going to a party tonight, parade tomorrow, and karaoke tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day weekend!

I'm a protestant.  I'll be wearing orange on St. Patrick's Day.  The green is for Catholics. (That's what the colors on the flag represent...the white is for peace).  And I pity the fool that tries to pinch me.  He (or she) will be punched in the throat unless he (or she) looks like Shea Weber or Evangeline Lily.

My sister was telling me about these two kids in my nephew's preschool class.  They are twins and apparently also the spawn of Satan.  My sis said she went to pick the kid up and witnessed the two kids taking a running head start toward a lady that was bent over.  They pushed her, each one, square in an ass cheek.  The lady would've squished her kid if someone hadn't caught her.  Another day, one of them thumped another kid's dad in the groin.  It took everything for him not to drop to his knees.  Is it just me?  I think it would probably be more tiring to allow children to misbehave than it would be to knock them the f**k out.  That's probably why I have no kids.

I wore green last Friday, today Sunday wearing my team colors - been working like crazy last 2 months, also been on FanIQ almost everyday last 2 weeks, amazingly i had 300 wins (good enough for 25th place), also ranked Top 10 trivia and quizzes.
Sometimes my computer runs wicked slow I HATE THAT!
Yesterday after work I walked around Miramar Beach,Destin Florida, certainly liked the scenery!!
Watching pro+college hoops right now, my Florida Gators were upset by Ole Miss Rebels, got a hunch Miami Heat will make the NBA finals.
That's all for now.
