With baseball season almost upon us, I've been tooling aroung Baseball Refernce. I made up a list of the top 25 players at each position ranked by what I'm calling average WAR. I just took a players total WAR and divided by the number of years played. I saw some intersting names on these lists.

So my question is who do you think is the most underrated catcher of all time.

Here is my top 25 catcher all time by average WAR adjusted for 162 since earlier players played fewer games. with the regular counting stats and ops+ to compare them to their contemporaries. and my version of peak WAR. The best 5 consecutive seasons.
