Dear Jesus,

This year in my Easter basket I would like the following:

Jagermeister, don't be cheap, we all know I'm worth it.
Root beer, also don't be cheap.. A&W...duh.
Chocolate covered stuff, I am not picky.. but you know what I like.
Personalized shot glasses, I am sick of these plastic ones that crack and I never remember whick ones are mine.
Keurig, the big one.
Note II, I'll let you pick the color.

Have a great week, I'll see you sunday.

p.s. let's heat up a bit, this snow is driving me bonkers.

Thanks

God is awesome, except when something happens that I don't agree with, then I blame Obama or democrats

In other news, the Avs suck, my home improvement efforts are going well, and my 2nd nephew should be joining us in the world in the next several hours.. We now have the makings of an extremely stout defensive pairing.

I swear, we should only use online interaction for strangers. I had no idea so many of my friends and family were hateful, negative people...never heard most of them even talk about some of stuff they blow up about on facebook. I don't know how many family and IRL friends I've "hidden all posts by" in the past 6 months, and even deleted from my friends list for flipping out at me on my wall for posts that I posted to be silly (like the infamous Oreo cookie vs. Chick-fil-A debacle.)

Edit - I should note that I'm actually quite tame on facebook, especially religiously and politically. The three things I've posted that have created controversy and huge fights on my wall were:
* A picture of a sign outside of a cafe or coffee shop that said something along the lines of if people hate gays so much maybe they should stop having gay kids...I'm paraphrasing and it was funnier than I'm making it sound.
* When all that Chick-fil-A stuff went bananas, I said something like "All this Chick-fil-A nonsense makes me want to go buy a bag of Oreos"
and
* After the Newtown CT. shooting I mentioned that my heart ached for all of the children and their families, and the surviving children who had to witness that. I specifically said that my status wasn't a plea for or against gun control and asked them please not to turn it into it. Not even three comments down, you can guess what happened...

I do know what you are sayin.

Sista, I didn't even care while I was carrying my own alien. And bridal showers? No.

Jen,
 (also, do you watch Revolution?)

You know, I don't think Dexter's sister on the show...what's her name?... is hot at all. I also think I don't love this show yet because of Doakes or Dokes, whatever. But on that note, I just finished the episode where they think Doakes is the killer, and I'm pretty sure a spoiler memory tells me he doesn't die, but I will hope for it still.

Because Deborah Cox makes me absolutely drag queen crazy, and I feel her, go ahead girls.  Sing at the top of your lungs.  You mean it.  And so do I.  I mean, if a girl can't go to the club on her birthday, she should just bring the club to her, right?

Always waitin' for someone
To make me happy, pick me up
I realize that someone is me
What you call life, that ain't livin'
Bless the child that's got his own
It's my season, now I stand alone
Just thought that I would let you know
Some things you just can't control

[Chorus:]
Should I wear my hair in a ponytail?
Should I dress myself up in chanel?
Do I measure me by what you think?
Absolutely not, absolutely not
If I go to work in a mini-skirt
Am I givin' you the right to flirt?
I won't compromise my point of view
Absolutely not, absolutely not

Told myself I won't complain
But some things have got to change
Not gon' be a victim of
All your social push and shove
Right or wrong, you judge the same
My picture never fit your frame
What you thought, you'll never know
You can't see me with your mind closed

[Repeat Chorus]

Now I see, life means more to me
More than fancy clothes
More than you'll ever know
All the ugly words that I heard you say
Made me stronger everyday
Now I live my life for me

[Repeat Chorus 3x]

Oh, ooh
Woah, oh, ooh
All my ladies say
Oh, ooh
Woah, oh, ooh
Absolutely not, absolutely not
All my ladies say
Oh, ooh
Woah, oh, ooh
All my ladies say
Absolutely not, absolutely not

You can thank my catch-up-GIRLS-watchathon for changing the channel. (What a glorious eff'd mess of a season 2. I really liked it.) I'm also a cooler for Stoney's AVS. You guys tweet so interestingly about your teams that I put the game on and boom. Something bad happens. I may start watching more AVS games as a solid for Stoney, since they have a shot at the first overall pick. If it gets tight down the wire I may even buy a cap or something.

When you guys tweet it seems like I'm missing something exciting going on, so I put it on. lol There is nothing better than people live tweeting a hockey game. If I owned a team, let's say your Ducks, I'd totally hire someone to do that almost like the team's radio/TV broadcast. Really get into it with more than just scores and times or end of periods, etc. Like your stuff on my TL.

The Kings PR Dept. with their trolltastic twitter account, is fantastic as well.

I'm so glad I'm not on Facebook. I'd get in a flame war every day. Plus, I'm not a good enough person to not dislike someone because of their beliefs.

Of course, what most don't realize is that it's not the new media that causes this. This is how people actually think, in all our racist, selfish, and stupid glory. Facebook and Twitter have just shown us that the human race has a long way to go, and frankly, I'm not very confident we'll ever get there.

Nah, I read it already and I'm fine! I've come to expect low expectations (that makes no sense, but I get it). I love them anyway, in all their ridiculousness...just like I loved Babe Ruth baseball and our high school team. (Our local American Legion team was awesome, always top of the state). They were awful but baseball is baseball and sometimes soothes me. Funny how the better my favorite teams do, the more they stress me out.

I'm probably the most parinoid when someone goes into a public bathroom stall after me.  even if I didn't do anything nasty.  I always get that oh crap feeling like.. did the toilet paper go down?  does it smell like pee in there now cause I've had a lot of caffeine and not a lot of water and I think it was a sort of amber color in there so I should probably stop drinking sweet tea and drink more water and maybe she didn't notice and I need to walk faster.

They are a married couple in real life.  Think about that later.

Leigh, a fun game for baby showers is to put miniature candy bars in a diaper and microwave it for a few seconds.  Then you
have your lucky guest stick their fingers in the diaper, taste it, and try to identify the kind.  Fun for the whole family.

Becky,  my kids school has the students use Free Rice dot com in their free time.  It feeds the hungry with every correct answer.

I have tomorrow off.  I am going to sleep and maybe drink.  I haven`t had more than a single drink in two weeks.  I might be a PITA on this site tomorrow, too.  Fair warning.

Gonzo the dog is getting really big.  He is so good though and doesn`t leave the yard.  I promised him a long walk tomorrow.

Oh yeah, spring has sprung. It was 50F today and melting like crazy.  I`m happy

I love animals, I always have. But I wish it would warm up. I passed a groundhog that was standing on the side of the road this past Saturday.  As I looked at it in my rear view mirror, I had the overwhelming urge to drive back by it so I could flip it off.

I can almost smell baseball season, I am feeling pretty good about the Cubs this year. They look awesome, I believe they have a decent shot for making the playoffs and beyond.

Naw, not really, I'm just messing with ya--------->devil

I am not feeling it today, anything.

Later.
