I feel bad for Flames fans like Deb :( but somewhat relieved Iggy ended up in Pitt. I mean, good lord, did you see what Bergeron did last night? In one effing period!? I couldn't image what a motivated, something left in the tank, would kill for a cup, Jarome would do in the playoffs with Bergy Howe.

(For those who don't know every nick name in hockey is just shorten-add a Y at the end. I think it's a rule or possibly an actual law in Canada?)

Edit: almost forgot to give a shout out to my Habs back up goalie (and all round lunatic) for pulling one out of the fire last night.
Here's his awesome mask:

From a great piece in a french Montreal newspaper:
- He likes the buffets at strip clubs, because they are pretty healthy (wait. what?)
- He's afraid of people on motor cylcles at night (?)
- He gets a lot of compliment from fans in town re: his clothes. He likes the city's fashion sense. (i dunno 'bout that one buddy?)

Also he's getting free poutine for life which is the equivalent of the key to the city.

Until this morning, I had forgotten Jarome even was still in the league, let alone good enough to be traded to the Penguins for a 1st round pick.  Even without him, the Flames had more than enough offense to beat my struggling Avalanche.  Also the Nuggets came up just short against the Spurs,(shocker their.)  San Antonio has always been 1-2 steps ahead when they play Denver going all the way back to when guys like Gene Banks,George Gervin and Artis Gilmore would have career nights against Alex English and Kiki Vandeweigh.

How did I know that when I chose  "f. Red headed sl*t..." Jason would agree with me!?! wink

Looks like I am writing in Green today (or maybe it's just what I can see on my end) thanks to that cut and paste from the above poll options!  yes

Today's shout out is for JESS!

Jess, since you are the SHIZZZZZNIT on here.....
my question for you is, can we incorporate some Font colors and sizes and FONT styles on this mutha-trucka or what?

HOW ABOUT DEM BULLS?!?!?  Huh?!?! Hey?!?!  Take that HEAT!  HA!  No D.Rose, No J.Noah, no Rip Hamiltion and no Marco Bellinelli and we won!  THE STREAK IS OVER!  BOOOOOOO-YAH!

So, do you want to know why punctuation is SOOOOOOOOOO important?
Because it's a big difference between "Helping your Uncle, Jack, off a horse" and "Helping your Uncle jack off a horse"  surprise

Since Easter is near, I will leave you with this to ponder over

Did you google that or you actually remember those guys? They had wars way back in the ABA with Iceman and Skywalker going at it---now that was a league!!!

My kid and I played the hell outta some Galaga yesterday. What? Still serious business.

Also, you know what's good? Season 1 of Downton Abbey. Those are some pretty nice rich 1912 white folk. Now, I haven't seen one black yet, so I don't know nothing about that, but they are pretty good to their non-black unders. Plus, all that in house treachery is fun to watch. I heart Maggie Smith.

I came within a second of calling Kat and singing I Want It That Way (see 1999 poll) on her voice mail. Ash you can also expect some LFO in the near future.

k, I gotta step out now.

I have a migraine from crunching too many numbers. I'm gonna take a power nap under my desk and hope nobody walks past my cubicle for the next couple hours.

I need to get one of those desk beds that George had on Seinfeld while working with the Yankees.

I was 12 during the 84-85 season, and went to 1-2 Nuggets games a year from 1979-80 thru the time I graduated high school in 1990.  With my Dad and I both having birthdays within 2 days of St Patty's Day, we would usually drive the roughly 50 miles from Colorado Springs to Denver sometime during that time to sit in the old McNichol's Arena to watch them as a birthday tradition.  My favorite year was watching Spud Webb, Dominique Wilkins and the Hawks play.  I always loved Tree Rollins even though he wasn't anywhere near being great.

I have only truly begun to appreciate the Spurs the last 3-5 years, because before that I couldn't stand them especially Ginobili.  My favorite Spur that season was Alvin Robertson.

19th post.

(just trying to help)

Took my boss to an art gallery this afternoon to buy a painting her son-in law did.  They all sucked.
She plunked down $650 after an hour of indecision.  Glad I don't suffer from mothers guilt.

Rob had my clutch changed when I was in Boston by some young kids that love Hondas.
It shifts great!  It just makes a noise now like
when I used to put playing cards in the spokes of my bike tires.  frown   Back to my certified mechanic.

Today was a chili dogs and beer night, so I did just that.

I'm currently craving fried chicken (Popeye's will probably do the trick at some point), barbeque (pointless in DC), and playing the ponies. Such is life.

Let's see...who remembers anything about Punky Brewster other than the name? I had to look it up to make sure it wasn't Moon Unit Zappa in the lead role. Meanwhile, enough people remember Cory, Topanga, Shawn, and Feeny enough that Boy Meets World is getting reboot into an almost certainly terrible Disney Channel show.

Yes, I forgot. When a show is rebooted on the Disney channel that means  it's sooooo much better.

Thanks Marcus.  And he was almost magical in goal last night.  I enjoyed that game immensely.  It was over and then the ball dropped.  I am not at all happy Iggy ended up in Pittsburgh.    I have actually cried.  Yes, cried.  I don't even like hockey right now.  But the NHL thinks I should watch the stupid Canucks play, so I guess I will watch and yell and scream for the Av's to beat the crap out of the nuckleheads.  I know it will just take an exciting, close game for me to love hockey again, but right now, I can't.

Yes, I lead a lame life.

Agreed.  I mean, I know her name but that's actually only because of Teach. I remember nothing about that show other than I think I did like it. I remember actual episodes and scenes of BMW (i'm lazy) and I still watch it on Saturdays afternoons.

I never watched Boy Meets World, so I can't speak of it.  I do, however, remember some stuff about Punky Brewster besides the fact that Soleil Moon Frye playing the lead character.  She was an orphan who had a dog.  I'd be more specific if I weren't running out the door.

No way on the lame life. That's EXACTLY how you're supposed to react. Geezus I know that feeling and it's awful ...then you wonder why you care? If you ever cared? (lie to yourself, it helps.) then like you said, boom you're right back into it. You don't have to throw Iggy's dog tags in the ocean (I did a 180 on that recently), but know, there will be others.
