I was on the cusp of being an ADULT. Senior year in HS....O M G! Choosing 10 is very difficult. Me and my friends listened to all kinds of music, dependent on what we were doing. Great Year, Great Memories. yesheart

Great year for music, but, if you look at how the top 100 rankings were then versus where these songs would be ranked today, it would be much different.

Greatest American Hero! I loved that show and when will a TV show theme, made for specifically for the show not popularized by it, be a hit again? Good stuff.

I was really more into Judas Priest/Iron Maiden and The Scorpions but I picked the songs I remembered hearing.

              Went to several rock concerts at Boston Garden that year -- Bob Seger,Foreigner,Journey,Billy Squier.
 Just heard #1 Bette Davis Eyes,still wondering WHY that tune was so popular??
