Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

my head hurts

OH, Ryan Lochte on his own show? Oh my goodness, that shall be a fantastic trainwreck!
OH, I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Da Vinci's demons. I'm thinking it is in part due to the fact that Assassin's Creed looks just like this show and Leo is my homeboy in it, but mostly it's just good.

FIRST!!!

Morning Q'ers!  It's Monday, and outside, it feels like late February or early March-bout 45 degrees, cloudy and a little windy....not really supposed to get warm until next weekend.

The GREAT TEAM, the RANGERS, must have been saving all of their goal scoring for the end of the season.  They scored 6,8, and 4 goals in their last three games as they push for the playoffs.  They DID eliminate the Debbils, though...wont Bobby Boucher's momma be proud!

Did some yardwork yesterday, and muscles feel it today....sucks getting older.

Here's today's pic...

Have a GREAT week!

i picked weeds for so long yesterday (1:30-6pm to be precise) that my hands still feel like they're doing it...kinda like if you spend the day in the ocean and you can still feel the waves when you get in bed. i also got it in my head that i didn't wanna get my pants dirty, so i did it in a squat or a 3-point stance the whole time and my hammies are anti-awesome. let's move past the fact that i had four and a half hours worth of weeds in half of my backyard.

the rockets astroed last night.

Lunch with the bois today at Marketplace Restaurant.  Truffle fries and roasted red pepper and brussel sprout flatbread.  It was so good.  It's a beautiful place, owned by bois so it's impeccably decorated.

Celebrating two weeks as national champs today with this song flowing through my head....

"Heart Of A Champion"
(feat. Lincoln University Vocal Ensemble)

[Nelly exercising and breathing hard]

[Nelly]
C'mon, uhh, uhh
I guess he's back 'urr derrty, S-T-L derby
I'm like Magic to Kareem, man you tell me I ain't Worthy
I ain't speaking 'bout a jersey, I'm speaking 'bout income
DID YOU HEAR THAT ELIZABETH? HERE COME THE BIG ONE!
I put mo' money in the community than you got in yo' budget
I wipe my ass with yo' advance to the toilet then flush it
My last stance be a stance of a General Custard
I hot dog cause I can, I got the cheese and mustard
I got the stats of a hall of famer - in just two records
That's why I'm back up at the Superbowl - with Julius Peppers
I got that can't stop, won't stop, in my veins
That's why they can't stop, won't stop, screaming the name
NELLY! NELLY! Go tell a friend to tell a friend
I'ma keep the same grin whether I, lose or win
Up, or down ten, I'ma fight to the end
[breathing hard] Let's go

[Chorus: L.U.V.E.]
Ain't no way they can stop me now Nelly
Cause I'm on my way, I can feel my ring coming
It's the blood of a champion, pumping
Deep inside my veins, too much pride to be running
I'ma get what I can and more, even if
My blood, my sweat, and my tears don't mean nothing
It's the heart of a champion (it's the heart of me)
(It's the heart of a..) in me

[Nelly]
I'm the first pick, the first round, signing bonus profound
Playing for his hometown, rapping for the home ground
And getting buffer like Michael Redd, tell 'em again
I gets buffer like Michael Redd, heard what I said?
The MV-P of the game, intensity still the same
I'm shooting out from my reign, with Peyton Manning type aim
Can't stop me from scoring so they result to just hacking
So there's, three of us now - me, A.I. and Shaq'n
From the look to the as I say
Hover man with more heart than Hallmark on Valentine's Day
I'm the one that you've been Raven about, like Ray Lewis
I think it hard to go and change your route
Cause you don't know if I'm blitzing or if I'm sitting and reading
Waiting for you to go and trip, drop back and throw up a brick, man
AIN'T NO WAY THEY CAN - NO, AIN'T NO WAY THEY CAN - NO
AIN'T NO WAY THEY CAN - NO, AIN'T NO WAY THEY CAN - NO

[Chorus]

[Nelly]
It's like a big time decision made on how I can twurk it
If hard work pays off then easy work is worthless
My work habit ain't no habit man, I do it on purpose
I push myself to the limit so my talent'll surface
So now it's, curtains and drapes, on anybody who hates
Disliking what I'm reciting, biting what I've been writing
I've been dogfighting, scratching and clawing on every height
Trying to make you remember me like you +Remember the Titans+
Cause I'm a WARR-IOR, my daddy was a soldier
A Vietnam vet, lil' derrty I thought I told ya
I'm supposed to, whip up your town in Testarossas
Heating like Folgers mayne, I'm young black and rich
As good as it gets, and giving your point guard fits
He think he done seen pressure mayne, but he ain't seen shhhh...
AIN'T NO WAY THEY CAN - NO, AIN'T NO WAY THEY CAN - NO
AIN'T NO WAY THEY CAN - NO, AIN'T NO WAY THEY CAN - NO

[Chorus - repeat 2X]

This weekend was weird (last weekend? Feels odd to say it that way). UFC on Fox was pretty awesome, especially considering my friieeenn kicked Nate Diaz's butt. I was screaming at the TV. My husband and daughter might have been a little skrred of me for a few minutes. Then local boy Benson Henderson won, which was a little controversial but I don't like Melendez so I'm not complaining. The Mariners sucked. The Ducks won last night though, ending their streak at 4 losses. Sports wear me out.

I did spend some quality time with the kiddo over the weekend while the Mr. was on duty. She painted my toenails and I painted hers, we watched a couple of movies together and had popcorn and chocolate chips. Then we played a little Rock Band. I capped the weekend off with some Tiger Woods PGA Tour. So addicted.

I walked out to meet my husband for a goodnight kiss last night, and the sea lions and shore birds were singing the songs of the sea behind my house, and I think I might have heard a whale. That was cool. Now I'm listening to lawn mowers and smelling fresh cut grass. Spring is here.

Back to work - have a fantabulous day!

Sup peeps,

The weather is fantastic today.  Think I'll go for a run on the track at da paaaahk!  Who knows.....maybe I'll get really cray and run to the lake and back.  I don't know....not sure if I'll have enough time!

We were feeling froggy last night, took a leap, and made chicken a la king last night by mixing a bunch of recipes.  Chicken, peas/carrots, mushrooms, soup, bicuits (tase the biscuit), cheese, onions, MAD spices, etc.  I'm talkin the works.  Sh** was delish!  Sunday is our cheat day and let's just say ya boy took FULL advantage.  As a result I just ate my lunch.  At 2 o'motherf****n-clock.  Boom goes the dynamite!

So we have a neighbor that is apparently an opera singer, or so she thinks.  Every day I hear her warming up and every day I want to punch something.  It's not that she's a bad singer, I just can't stand that "style."  The only decent music I've heard coming from her condo is "Paperback Rider" by The Rolling Stones.

Should I take up skateboarding or windsurfing?

I loved the fact that now both of the Diaz's have lost back to back.  That was a great kick that knocked out Diaz, even though he tried to duck it still caught him flush.  Looking forward to Jon Jones beating Chael Sonnen this weekend.

My head is spinning. I have too much going on and not enough time.

My son has moved in with me as of last Friday.  I am contacting lawyers, schools, trying to get my work done at my job. Had to go to the courthouse on Friday to file a motion to change Residential custody over and stop child support. The current HS that I live in the area of is a really bad school.  The neighborhood that I live in, isn't.  This HS is a level 3, out 3 level, school with 1 being THE BEST!

He f**cked around so much and his mom dead jack sh** that his grades aren't good enough to get him into a better school outside my district.  I just came back from talking to the Principle at a Charter school near me to see if they can look past his 1.6 grade point average and allow him to attend there, if nothing else, for at least the last 6 weeks of this school year. I had to explain what my son was dealing with and why his grades were so bad and pretty much begged him to give my son a second chance in life by allowing him to attend his school...........BTW -  I don't like to beg for anything angry  But, I will do whatever it takes for my kid! .......Otherwise, I may have to move to the suburbs frown

The Bulls looked like they were playing with JSWOL on their team! Brooklyn beat their ass on Saturday!

Blackhawks take on the CUCK THE FANUCKS tonight in Vancouver........should be another dirty showing from those ass-clowns up north! no

Happy belated 420!  I hope everyone that celebrated, did so responsibly.  - "DON'T JUDGE ME MONKEY"

Buenos Dias, $h*theads!

Boston based solo-artist Amanda Palmer, formerly of the Dresden Dolls (whomever the f**k that is) has come under fire for writing a poem dedicated to Douchekar Tsarnaev, the now infamous Boston Bomber.  I've read some of her stuff, and she tries to humanize the slimebag piece of $h*t like any true wack job, nutflake eating f**ktard should, but I digress.  I am a strong proponent of all things Constitutional, including Amanda's right to write blathering, blatant boolspit.  That being said, I am writing my own poem to Douchekar.  Here it is (Cactus Jack Inc. is not responsible for damage caused to your keyboard by your tears after reading this touching ode)

Douchekar

I hope you die.

slowly

painfully

and rot in the everlasting fires of hell.

That's it.

You've been edJACKated!

I joined my current project at the tail end, yet will still end up writing at least half of the report despite not being on the team in time to do any of the field work. Not sure what that says about me, the team, or the situation.

Remember that we're barely 10% into the baseball season, the equivalent of being 2 weeks into the NFL season. Not a whole lot can be concluded yet.

Ugh news of the day: the Steubenville High football coach got a 2 year extension.

good morning peoples

Friday night at the Avs game was a good time.. So good I had to crash at a buddy's house that night.. Good news is I met a buddy of his who owns a very cool bar in Lodo, where we happened to meet the Avs' Ryan Wilson that night

Saturday sucked balls. So much so that I was too hung over to properly celebrate 4/20. But I did go see Oblivion and enjoyed it

Go Rockies

It's snowing... again.. in the last week of April.. But good news is it's supposed to be in the 70s this weekend for our first hockey tournament of the year

I need a nap
