Nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so!
'NOTHING IS GOOD OR BAD - BUT THINKING MAKES IT SO!'  Words of the Literature Maestro William Shakespeare!  How would you define its meaning?  I mean, in what sense have these words been said - kindly predict.  Did it ever have an impact in your life till date?  Has it helped you?  Has it helped you to help others?  Share your experiences generously - they may help many who may see new light in these words!  If someone has even had a bad experience on the above lines, he may pen them too - it may serve as a positive response to a negative thought - who knows!!!!!!

I infer these words as meaning - God gave man a mind to think.  Our predecessors gave society some rules, guidelines, advices, instructions, strategies, directions, etc.., which they thought would make life pleasant, understanding, civilized, habitable, livable, etc..  They put it across that certain things, deeds, actions, etc. were harmful, unpleasant, unfriendly, disagreeable, hostile, nasty, etc. - which they termed as being BAD.  Vice versa, the pointed many a things that would lead to harmony, togetherness, peace, friendliness, social, etc. which they termed as GOOD.

Our great William Shakespeare put these words on somewhat these lines, but left it to the common human mind to decipher in his own way what he felt was good or was bad.  It is very possible that a certain act or deed or thought may be good for one, while it may just be the opposite for the other.  So it is our minds that have to decide if a certain thing is GOOD or BAD.  And our thinking makes us decide this.

For a robber robbing may be the best form of livelihood whereas who get robbed pity their luck. So GOOD for the thieves and BAD for the losers.

Share your personal experiences so that we may learn something that may make us infer and think better.

"Attitude is the mind's paintbrush; it can color anything."

"If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain."

Two of my favorite quotes, and I try to live by them both (I don't always succeed, obviously, but I try.)

Reminds me of a joke.

A painter remarked to a friend about a recent job he had where the lady of the house was not satisfied with the color. No matter how many times he mixed the paint and painted the walls, the color wouldn't match a paint chip she had.  She kept demanding that he redo it over until it matched the paint chip.

It finally ended after she ended up getting a phone call from her mother, and having had a conversation with her.

"So, her mother convinced her that it would never match exactly, and to accept the closest match you could get?" asked the friend.

"No," replied the painter, "while she was on the phone with her mother, I painted over the paint chip."

I thought it was "If you don't like something, change it. If you change it, leave?"

in either instance, I think I will take that quote when it comes to the Q!

Knowledge speaks since it has to be shared.  Wisdom lies in sharing and show that you are caring.  Craziness may be like heaven for those who think that way - you cannot guarantee it for all minds though!!!!!

Attitude may be defiance or approach.  If one's inference approaches it with a defying stance - you may indeed be able to paint anything.  But insolence in approach may just keep you a little away from perception.  You  will not be able to use the adage " Try and try till you succeed" if you have decided to change your attitude and not think of neither grumbling nor protesting.

Definitely 'Man proposes, God disposes'.  To achieve the goal should be one's aim - success may or may not prevail!  After all "Impossible is the word found in the dictionary of fools" does have its say once in a way here and there!!!!!!

Be patient to get hit.  Both get the hit finally.  Our mind has to decide which is better - to be an Anvil or be a Hammer.

You decide which is better - the disappearance or the affinity!!!!!
