Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

All I want to do is watch Doctor Who all day.
Adam Levine... *swoon*

I'm tired.

I get the fact that both of these careers are 'long shots,' but this knucklehead giving up a scholarship to Mich St. to pursue a career in rap is asinine. For one there's the whole NOT going to college or at least not going for free. Stupidity. Then there's the odds or numbers, which if you're making a decision like this you don't understand anyway. There are 1,696 people making at least $405K a year in the NFL. Every year. In the entire history of everything, for ever and always, going back to Amadeus, Bach, etc. there probably aren't 1700 people TOTAL who have made that annual salary as a recording artist or musical performer.

So, good luck with that.

In a seperate, but somewhat the same situation, I think Noel out of Kentucky will possibly be the new version of Greg Oden if he's drafted 1st overrall.  He has talent beyond his years, I just think his body will not be able to hold up for 82 games let alone a lengthy career in the NBA.  Hopefully i'm wrong.

Here is what is even dumber to me. Go to school get a free education, play football and give yourself a shot at the NFL. While you are doing this work on a demo tape, write rhymes, take the steps to launch a rap career. Just in case the football thing fails. I don't believe that the NCAA has rules that would prevent this kid from doing this, despite the fact that they have many retarded rules. Does this kid not have anyone he knows that has and uses common sense?

I just had that convo last night, and we kinda agreed that the play here is to draft him #1 then sit him a year (like Blake Griffin) and then hope to double down so to speak on the following year's much deeper draft. It's not a bad insurance policy and you may suck enough to get another top 3 or top 5 pick.

Spent the morning in a workshop with artist Lily Yeh.  I feel like this workshop was providentially placed in my path because there are way too many "coincidences" for it to be chance.

This lady is small in stature, yet the differences she has made in the lives of many across the world are quite large.  I'm still processing what I've been presented with today, and probably will be for quite some time.

Better day today. Still fighting a cold, but it's mostly under control so far.

There is something about hearing the sound of race cars at Indianapolis Motor Speedway that is serene to me.

I am old and I drink a lot and I stand too close to the drum kit at concerts and i listen to my head phones too loud also i have the attention span of spam and sometimes when i am working and listening to music and a reasonable volume due to my boss not being a fan of Mickey Avalon I sometimes hear things wrong.  I half ass listen as people walk by me and talk and sometimes I only catch a few words.  this has become the highlights of my obviously permanent temp job... I have started a list and I keep track of them.. here they are from this week.

keep in mind I am sober.

I know I know, thank you.  I did die

Good Afternoon, Everybodee!

Just voted for Teach's photo.

Just another day in Paradise.   Tonight, I'm attending a banquet where my son (youngest) is helping display their project for ACE (a mentoring program for architects, contractors, and engineers)     Ought to be fun.
