Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Repeat, and it's still all true. Drinking all night til 3am and getting up at 6 is just as stupid as always. man.

I need some sleep. I also need to learn how to brush my teeth w/o gagging. I'm 32 (ugh) ffs. Breathe.

Happy Birthday again Sid... and my mom... and Olivia Munn.

Sloppy Seconds!!!

Morning Q'ers!  Happy Day before 4th of July (which makes it the 3rd of July)  Hot as ever here in NJ....humid too.  The boardwalk hawkers and beach crowd will be happy, because it's supposed to be nice all weekend....BUTTTTT...we can NEVER trust the weather forecasters at the NJ Shore in the summer, because they will NEVER say that there will be a lot of rain....they don't give a "true" forecast until all the tourists are already here.

Here's today's pic...enjoy...

Have a happy Independence Day!

Sitting in the University's student union watching Andy Murray's Wimbledon match and answering emails.  Surprisingly their are 2 other people sitting in front of the tv watching the tennis as well.  One younger female student, and one father who seems to be waiting for his kid to finish an orientation tour of the campus.

I think now that I've started dating 24 yr olds, I will do so for the rest of my life.  I may hang on to this one, though.  He can cook.  So can his mom.

I worked 2 1/2 hours today, and then ran the Big Four Bridge afterwards.  I want to get back into running shape so I can do the Kentucky Derby Festival half-marathon next April.

No.  He has his own place.  He owns a restaurant and his mother owns a different restaurant.  I met him while eating at his mom's restaurant on a frequent basis.  He worked at her restaurant (and still does in a pinch, if he's available) before he opened his own.  So I've been eating her cooking a long time.

That is not true. I only know about a handful of moms who can cook. Sure, most moms (and dads) can "cook" but there's a difference between being able to cook and being able to cook.

Most sons who can cook probably had moms who can cook, but I know way too many moms who can't cook at all.

I don't even think that would fall under being able to cook a little.

I ripped through season of 2 of Veep last weekend. It's easily my favorite comedy right now. Now I have to get my hands on the original English version. I love the binge watch, especially when I have no sports to follow during my summer dead zone.

I think you need to be able to combine ingredients to be considered a good cook.  Try combining the Pop Tarts with Jiffy Pop popcorn. (The one in the tin foil cooking skillet over the stove, not that microwaveable c#%p.  that's cheating, like using store-bought ravioli instead of scratch.)

I was just checking.  Usually when introducing a new love interest to family/friends, or people on fan iqcheeky I had never heard anyone say this person is beautiful/handsome with a great personality and oh by the way  his/her mom can "really cook!"

Helping out in one of the firework locations tomorrow.  The head operator just called and asked if I knew anybody who wanted to come out to help. Especially at the end, with clean-up and site tear-down.  He had a couple guys on his crew say they are unable to make it.

Anybody going to be in the area, positions available.  Food will be provided, and up close viewing.  Please submit application, and proof of insurance, with Oddfool listed as the beneficiary.  In-duh-viduals resembling that first idiot shown above need not apply (unless aforementioned insurance is in excess of $1,000,000.)

Feeling worn down for some reason. I have tickets for tonight Nationals game, but with my fatigue plus not wanting to deal with the heat, humidity, and likely rain, I'm not going. Expect something crazy to happen in that game now.

I think this rain is giving me Seasonal Affective Disorder. Blech.

I'm not like a lot of other people.

I tend to enjoy the fact that I won't be going hungry at his family functions.

And how can you go wrong with a beat-boxing Hasidic Jew and a bunch of kids?

From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee,
Across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston, and New York to L.A.,
Well there's pride in every American heart and it's time we stand and say....

That I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free,
and I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today,
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land, God bless the U.S.A.!

Happy 4th everyone!  I'm off to enjoy a Pirates game in club level seats that I won at work.

That is so wrong on so many levels.  I think this is one thing you and I have always agreed on, Paul Page IS the voice of Indy Car racing in the U.S., and belongs back in the broadcast booth for it.  Marty Reid will never put a patch on his a$$.
