I wouldn't say I'm a connoisseur of the fried chicken game, and the only place I ever really order it is Popeye's

I love a place in Boulder called The Pinyon, however I recently read where they closed.http://blogs.westword.com/cafesociety/2012/04/theo_adley_the_pinyon_h_burger_boulder.php  So I guess next time I am back in Colorado will have to find someplace else to eat it.  My favorite in Lincoln is Lee's.

Jeanette Booker's house ( my famed picnic mate) or The Colonel's----but from a recipe Jessbot gave me once I am pretty sure she could make a mean and different fried chicken

behind that preposition.

Also, whichever kitchen I cook it in. Fast food wise, I'm not overly picky except I don't really like KFC's, but even it's better. In a restaurant, I never order fried chicken.

I'm not really a big fan of fried chicken unless it's in the popcorn form. I love my oven fried chicken though. Oil/fried food in general is not my friend.

(My oven fried is the recipe to which Lainey is referring.)

My house.

I coat it in greek yogurt, then roll it in flour with a crapload of spices, then fry it.

Stays really juicy.

My favorite fried chicken in no longer served.  It was made by my grandmother, and my aunt's was similar in quality.  I think they actually used lard.
