Half day Monday means rest of the day laundry.  Boo.

We did nothing all weekend but watch movies we have already seen,  Terminator,  Resident Evil (s), and  lastly Sharknado.
Tha'ts 2 hours I can never get back.  At least I can check the box of movie seen.

My friends 10 year old is obsessed with me.  She is now featuring me in her Bit cartoons.  Apparently, she has noticed my
political and environmental stances.   HAt!   We have the same birthday.........weirdness ensues.

I have total respect for those folks that can draw well.  Nothing in my head goes to my fingertips to paper.  I find it interesting how
everyone looks at the subject line and goes in different directions.

This is me getting pepper sprayed and also me putting Julianna in the toilet?  I don't ask why.

I'm the one without the ponytail.

Payback.......lol, this kid is nuts. cheeky

FIRST!

Happy Monday ,Q'ers!  Had a GREAT birthday yesterday, even though it was the 50th!  Had a good time.

Weekend started out Friday night with our Rotary Club's Bullet Proof Vest Fund dance, where we raised about $10000 net for purchase of body armor for police dept.  I was the winner of the 50 inch flat screen TV raffle...YAY!  Now I get to replace the TV we have that's possessed....works when it wants to....etc...

Sunday, lazed around all day for my birthday and watched the old men Yankees win in walkoff fashion...yay!

Took Monday off, so sitting around by the pool today....YAY AGAIN!

Here's today's pic...enjoy

Have a GREAT Monday (even though it's an oxymoron)

Happy belated Birthday, Kurt!  Hope you had a fantastic weekend!

Dexter - still waiting for this final season to get better (more intense)....we know it will and then it will be done....for good! crying

Ray Donovan - awesome show! It keeps getting better and better each week! yes

Big Brother = idiots! The remaining House Guests are pissing me off!  Helen needs to go!!  Funny how this is the only reality show that I ever got into and still watch (since Season 1). I can't stand any other reality show out there.....well, except for Hell's Kitchen.  Rumor has it that the producers are friends with Amanda and got her on this season and talk is that if she was put up for eviction, the Veto competition would be set up to favor her strength to possibly win it?  Just telling you what I heard.

Football pre-season is just around the corner!  WOOOWHOO!!

Speaking of which, did you hear that Tebow is actually giving Brady a run for his starting QB job?!?!  surprise  He made a change in his throwing and his accuracy is near 100%.

Maniacal Monday is in full force,  i just got about 10bls chewed off my butt in a conference call,,anyone hiring 50 year telecom guys let me know?

#4 | 394 days ago

Hmm...4th, which means I'm killing the thread early. Sorry about that.

4th day of furlough. 7 to go. Before any smart ass says I should go in and work for free, that is illegal.

All I have to say about Sunday is that I'm still adept at vomiting in a plastic bag while in a moving car, keeping all the vomit in the bag and not in the car.

hey brother

not a whole lot here, pretty mundane weekend. Went and saw Red 2. If you liked the first one, you'll probably enjoy this one. It is what it is and there could be worse things to do on a rainy day.

wow, I really don't have much at all. I could go over the plans for my home renovations I'm in the middle of, but I won't.

sooooo....noticeanything new?

i finally saw sharknado. i came in a true hour late, but in tv time, that's like 15 minutes. i reallydon't feel like i missed a single thing. my favorite part was when the brunette honey was getting bomb parts with homunkulous and she said "i don't feellike talking about it" about why she hates sharks and without any argument from hunky, she lets off this amazing tale of how her entire pedigree got eaten.

sandy and i taught 11 screaming 5-7 year olds a cooking class this morning. every kid was screaming about sharknado. i am soooo glad i could keep up! we're actually the worst cooking teachers ever turns out. i went in the kitchen about an hour after we'd left and turned the lights off and the oven was still on from"cowboy biscuits." i also found my very realistic e-cigarette in the middle of the floor. i have not idea how it got there,i forgot i even had the thing.

speaking of e-smoking. i fell offthe wagon (naturally) and last weekend, the boy and i tried together. iam pretty sure we're both actually doing it, because i know i do this and i hear him doing it after i've gone to bed. we're looking for each other's hidden packs. last pack i bought was 2 wednesdays ago and the fact that i can hear him rummaging frantically tells me he must not have a pack going either. i'mproud of us. lot of fidgetty, feely hatef**king going on.

ohyeah. and i already told you i saw sharknado. supershark right after was pretty remarkable too

indecision Nick...huh? I'm not sure how this season could get any better. I think it's been fantastic thus far - every episode leaves me ticked off that it's not coming back for another week (as usual) and there's some major ish happening! I also liked the little nod to the books in the ep before last night's. That was a nice treat for those of us who have read them.

One of the exchange students who lived with us could do that pencil thing. She tried to teach me, but I'm a lost cause. I stopped before I hurt anybody. She was from Bolivia.

I had a migraine most of the weekend, so that was fun.

To go or not to go? Paramore is opening their tour in Seattle on October 15, and that's actually a good time to make plans for an extra weekend in Seattle since they've got I think 3 road games that month. I had initially planned on saving $$ that month for Seahawks heavy months though, sooooo...gah.

I think Dexter is moving the story nicely along.

Ending last night was interesting.

2 thoughts...............WTH is Hannah?   Did you notice the little one has an imaginary friend?

I saw Paramore play in the parking lot at the music store a few years ago.  I would totally go.
Justify it with a "I'm going to town and going shopping" also, Starbucks should have that Pumpkin Latte in October.

I haven't watched last night's yet (Trever was on duty and I get in trouble when I do that) but I will be watching it tonight. I thought Hannah was in jail? or maybe in hiding? I don't remember. And yea I noticed Harrison had an imaginary friend last week - Jamie gave him breakfast or something.

I saw Paramore in Auburn with No Doubt a few years ago and I actually missed a good portion of their set due to stupid traffic and parking, so I could definitely find justification. And good call on the Starbucks thing! Hmm..maybe we'll just have to behave financially; find a dog sitter instead of boarding them, stay in a cheap hotel, not go to SoDo and peruse the team shops...

I don't know.....I just don't have that........."OH!  YOU CAN'T LEAVE THE WEEKLY ENDING LIKE THAT!  UGHHHH" yet.  Last night was pretty intense and this season has been good, thus far, don't get me wrong. What I said was based on the fact that, for the 1st time in 8 seasons, I don't have that "edge of my seat, can't wait to find out what happens next Sunday", feeling yet (shrug).  It's more like, "okay, okay"...wonder where or when the "twist" is going to happen?" type of feeling.

Maybe I have too high of expectations because it is the last season? (shrug) indecision  or maybe I'm trying to predict how the season will end......will Vogel be the end all of Dexter? Will Debra kill her brother? i need to STOP thinking about how the series is going to end and enjoy each week, I guess?

Six murders in five days.  I could really do without all that.  It's not even that hot outside.  Ugh.

The weather here has been brilliant over the past few days.  I love the sunny, low 80's.

I went and saw Wolverine yesterday.  It wasn't bad, yet, I wasn't wowed.  I'm really looking forward to Thor, though.

I love my boy Teddy Bridgewater.  He is a class act, and projected to get drafted before Manziel.  He went through The Car Wash on ESPN today.

Big Brother - right now Helen is running the house, Helen and Amanda needs to go. All the more reason for Amanda to go if she is friends with the producers, other than she is so pushy with her suggestions. Ok, so what, Howard lied to Helen about being in an alliance in the beginning.  Who hasn't lied on Big Brother ?
