Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Shout to my oldest on his brthday! May you give your dad hell for the rest of birthday week and always! I want him to be a starting pitcher. That's the only way I'm going back to baseball. Tell him. Physically, I feel a mess lately. Maybe dancing will help.

School looked like school this morning. I was instructed that all I needed to do was "walk me to the cafeteria, let me eat breakfast, take me to my class to my teacher, then you can go to work". Okay then... When she hung up her bag, she gave me permission to go. She has it now. Good, cause I'm not getting out of my car tomorrow.

Sloppy Seconds! (today, I submitted my answer to avoid the embarrasment of me saying sloppy seconds when I could actually be 4th or 5th...oh well)

Nice to see ya back Joe L!

Still don't really have a voice...which makes it nice so that I don't have to talk too much....that's all I'll say about THAT

Yankees hit ROCK BOTTOM last night.  Rivera blew the save in the 9th, and in extra innings, Adam Warren tried to field a ground ball, knocked it away from Cano, and then White Sox (who had lost 10 straight) scored 2 runs to win the game.  I KNOW the Yanks won't lose tonight...they're OFF!! RAMS will take care of the Brownies, though.

Here's today's pic...enjoy

Have a GREAT Thirsty Thursday!

I can't believe all the banned celebrations for touchdowns and other significant plays for this season, somebody needs to find a way to combine all of the banned celebrations into one motion after a TD; it's well worth the 15 yard loss.

Random Thoughts...

1.  Watched Mud last night.   White Trash Reese Witherspoon is not hot.  Some girls can pull off white trash...Nicole Kidman, Christina Ricci, Sheri Zombie, Juliette Lewis are a few that come to mind.  Not Witherspoon.  It wasnt as good as i had been told it was but worth a watch. McConaughey could pull an Oscar nom if this year is weak.

2.  I should be at home right now sleeping.  Go**amn.

3.  Who killed Marcus?

4.  Anyone recommend a decent small batch whiskey or bourbon?  Dont know my sh** when it comes to this and im needing something for the weekend.

5.  You mean i get to beat all your asses again this year?!  ANAL WRECKAGE!

we're playing a game at worksince this is my first non-smoking good mood day at my desk! every time my phone rings, my co-workerswill shout out a nationality and i have to answer in the appropriate accent. funny thing is, they called out "pirate!" and i sounded irish. then "jamaican!" and i sounded irish. then they yelled "irish!" and i sounded like a cowgirl. i suck at accents, but this is way fun.

Lorde-----have you heard this 16 year old? My station has been playing her for awhile. Just heard this song live on the radio. I like.
Don't go to 99 cent stores or Dollar tree for school supplies. Target and others have things way cheaper.
Chevron prints seem to be the happening decor for classrooms. I'm not a fan.
Did you know that Staples offers a reward thingie for teachers? If you give them your teacher's name, and they are enrolled in program, they will get points from your purchases.

I have some random thoughts too...

7 - I get to see Kuma pitch, in person! It's not Felix, but it's 2nd best. I'll go see Felix next season (or stay overnight and see him Sunday)

C - Sunburn in the cleavage sucks

2(n) - I wish there was a button on my phone to clear notification icons such as email and voice mail if I don't have time to check them out but don't want to see the icon and/or notification light staring at me.

2(e) - I think I need to totally reset my phone. Or get a new one. This is what I get for always getting the clearance model.

0 - Thanks to Richard Sherman's goofy ass, I'm stuck on this song.

That would be so cool! If only I could actually sign up for the plan they offer. I've tried and something doesn't match up. I do know that if your local school is registered, those bottles could bring them some good bucks.

I really need to answer my own polls.

I set up an Ebay sale for a friend.  Going well.

I really need/want to go to Texas and visit my big brother and my friends.  Just have to plan it right.  San Antonio vs Houston.
It's a long boring drive between the two and I'm planning a weekend type thing.   I don't want to spend it driving.

UPS just delivered my new crock pot.  I have never owned one.  This should be fun.  I'm sure there is a Pinterest page or 100 for that.

Hola amigos y amigas,

I'm home today, because I messed up my back yesterday. So I am in pain but on drugs.

I finally talked to a human at the EDD office today, and well they still haven't received my paperwork from the first 2 weeks of July but they did receive the paperwork from the last 2 weeks. Apparently that was on hold, because it was received out of order. So the girl got her supervisor to release the funds for the paperwork they received, I should have some kind of payment soon.

Hiii Joe!!

Jason, Woodford Reserve or Knob Creek are both excellent small batch bourbons.

The Louisville Free Public library has freed up a barrage of items that I had on hold, all at the same time.  I have A LOT of reading to do.  And season 2 of Downton Abbey is in the mix.

Good afternoon, Everybodee!

Hope your day is going well.

Jess, if you need some lotion for that sun burn, I'm sure Jason would be glad to offer assistance.

Tonight I get to go to Open House with my daughter.  I don't mind going, but the event starts at 4:30.  I have to get off work early to get there on time.  I need to find out whose head I need to smack for scheduling it so early.  Probably that one assistant principal who can't operate a calendar to save his life.
Actually, I'm a human, but I was raised by elves...

Ugh. At one point at work today I had three different taskings involving three different jobs at the same time. Also a lot of other crap.

My upper left jaw hurts when I chew and sometimes when I open wide or yawn. I now believe I have tetanus.

Tomorrow I go back to PA to see my sisters. I'm pretty sure they want to see me.

Are there chains in this list? I love my daughter to pieces but it might be kinda awesome to know where to go when we're having an evening without her.

I'm getting so excited - as much as I would love for my husband to be able to go with us, I think a "mom-&-me" Mariners game with the kiddo actually sounds like a really good time. Just the girls...with our mitts...being there early so we can get our Ken Griffey Jr. bobbleheads and make it to our seats for batting practice (our seats are in the best place to catch some of those BP HR's). Then we are going BACK to Seattle NEXT weekend for the Seahawks game vs. the Broncos. I get to see Peyton again in person - that'll be cool, even if he doesn't play. Then we go back to Seattle on the 26th to cash in our All Star Suite winnings and enjoy a free game in style. My head is spinning. And with all this good fortune, i was also able to completely make a stranger's day by transferring our tickets for the last Seahawks preseason game on the 29th. We can't go anyway, so I figured why not let someone else use our tickets? I think it made their family's season. heart It makes my heart happy.
