Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Took to the ice last night for the first time since I hurt my knee 11 days ago and let's just say it didn't feel good. The pain was bearable going straight with a regular stride but as soon as I went give it a lot of force on crossovers it was no bueno. So I made the adult decision to finish up the pregame skate then head back to the locker room. Ugh. We won 11-1 and play in the championship next week so I'll be good enough to go then for sure

I need to find a good movie for the evening

I have plenty of work to do...

FIRST!!!

Beautiful weather in NJ today!  I hope it lasts until......APRIL! Wishful thinking.  It's 72 degrees, low humidity.  Unfortunately, though, ragweed pollen is starting to float in the air.  Wife opened windows last night and I had to close them because I couldn't stop sneezing.  Now, I need a frost to kill the pollen.

The Yankees are the Bombers again.  Alfonso Soriano is en fuego!  7 RBI last night, 6 RBI on Tuesday.  Phil Hughes is pitching for the Yanks today, so there's probably a loss..

Here's today's pic...enjoy

Have a GREAT Thursday!

Q'rs
Apparently driving with your knee is frowned upon.  I don't know why (shrugs) I'm going to be a bit sad when we get to our destination, driving cross country is awesome! Best get a hand on the wheel! (kidding) my song today:

One foot on the brake and one on the gas, hey
Well, there's too much traffic, I can't pass, no
So I tried my best illegal move
A big black and white come and crushed my groove again

Go on and write me up for 125
Post my face, wanted dead or alive
Take my license, all that jive
I can't drive 55, oh no, uh

So I signed my name on number 24, hey
Yeah the judge said, Girl, just one more, huh
I'm gonna throw your a** in the city joint"
Looked me in the eye, said, "You get my point?"
I say "Yeah!, Oh yeah"

Write me up for 125
Post my face, wanted dead or alive
Take my license, all that jive
I can't drive 55, oh yeah

(I can't drive 55 )

When I drive that slow, you know it's hard to steer
And I can't get my car out of second gear
What used to take two hours now takes all day
Huh, it took me 16 hours to get to L.A.

Go on and write me up for 125
Post my face, wanted dead or alive
Take my license, all that jive
I can't drive 55

No, no, no, I can't drive, (I can't drive 55)
I can't drive (I can't drive 55)

PEACE

Yesterday my internet was suspended for file sharing, they found somebody downloading Hansel & Gretal from my computer, what a sh**ty movie, and it got me in trouble. Glad to be back on now.,

I liked that movie...it was dark and weird and fun. That's what you get for committing a felony, Kenneh.

I think my back is finally back to a point that I can start Rockin' Body and Belly Drills again with no problem. YAY! What an awful derailment.

I think I might be getting a Verismo for my bday. My husband isn't very sneaky. "If you had one of those Starbucks Verismo things you want, what would you do with your Keurig? Would I adopt it for my office?" Mhmm.

I had a little custard cup of Goldfish on my desk and I went to the store yesterday, fully expecting that my daughter could keep an eye on the dogs for 10 minutes. I came home and the cup was empty and I had Scentsy wax all over my desk...and my basset had Scentsy wax all over his ear and is limping. I don't even wanna know.

What genre do I want to listen to today?

start here and let the music take you from there

i got mycar back from the mechanics today! it was easy and not too expensive and now my car does humiliate me with it's screaming and they replaced the engineblock which did something magical for my gear shifter. i feel like i'm driving a race car again! i think i'mgonna buy'er something pretty today.

my sister prescribed me b-12 "dots" and it could be the dots, or it could be that it's payday and i'm still alive after payingfor and getting my car back all nice and tight, but i am fuh-LYING. perk: it tastes like children's asprin circa 1987. and it's bogo at kroger thisweek. swish.

here's this week's eyeball challenge!

OK, I think it's time the Q had a day of Amnesty for the Q castaways. A 24 hour pardon for the ghosts of Q past.  Just let them run amok/amuck. Definitely give everyone a couple of weeks of promo and warning before it happens to hide children and valuables. Just for ****s and giggles. I think everyone should pick two people they want to see during the cyber melee. Afterward, we all agree to that we never saw nothing. If anything, let's do it for Joe.

My pick:
Nach
Flames

Do it
Do it

They told me today he was kind of freaked out by his sticky paws, so they bathed him and gave him a massage.
I'm glad I don't have to pay for that.  indecision

Just asking for your thoughts and prayers towards my mom.  She is only 63 and is in the hospital right now in Denver after suffering a mild heart attack recently.  This lady put up with three ex-husbands, (of which my father was easily the one that treated her the best) while raising three kids and has just recently been less stressed and more happy than I have seen or heard in her voice in 20 years.
