I need a Selena Gomez downward spiral that results in a Playboy spread and a stint on celebrity rehab.  I need this.

I still have a hard time getting worked up over this. The only thing that bothered me was her damn tongue. That s*** ain't sexy, Miley. Otherwise, who cares? Has anyone actually listened to that song before?

Who's Jett Jackson?

Remember when everyone got all worked up about Britney and Madonna kissing 10 years ago at the VMA's? That was awesome and HOLY CRAP it's been 10 years already! Man I'm getting old.

From every ex-Disney kid that goes up the river, there are probably 4-5 that do okay. Gossling, Timberlake, Selena Gomez, Christina Aguilera, Shia Lebouf, Raven Simone, etc. Hell, Britney's even had a pretty decent 2nd act post meltdown lol

She will chill out later. Right now she is an 18 year old with a boatload of jack. I would have been ten times a crazy as any Dis/Nick kid if I had access to that kind of money at her age. I didn't give a flying **** when I was her age, and heck, I was broke.

She hasn't hurt anyone.

That being said............The tongue needs to be kept inside her mouth. She just looks silly. She's obviously been practicing that bit. Sad. The plastic chonies ............just....sigh. (they probably hurt and they make your buttocks look 90)

I might add that Raven had Bill Cosby in her corner before she went to Disney.

She's a loser!  Her and Bieber need to date so that they can annoy the f**k out of each other!

Let's just pray that they DON'T pro-create!

Good. Figured that. lol

What categorizes someone as a loser? I'm confused. Has she hurt someone, killed and left a body somewhere?

in my book, the way that they act.   Miley and Bieber are losers.

I personally didn't see it - but either way, is anyone really surprised? She wasn't gonna be Hannah Montana forever and it's not like it's the Grammys...crazy stuff happens all the time at the VMAs. Did we not all kind of have a crazy time in our lives? I know I did. By Nick's definition, I was a loser when I was about 25-26 years old.

My only thing with these Disney kids Gone Wild is that it's made me more careful of what I let my daughter watch, or be very careful not to let her go crazy idolizing them if she does watch anything with those kid actors. (I'm kind of a stickler on what she watches though - Animal Planet and the History and Discovery Channels are big in this house.)

As long as she wasn't using my foam finger i don't really see why i should protest , be offended, or care at all  indecision  she can  tweek her little brains out , if there are any !

Plus she seems to have gotten what she was shooting for everyone talking about it and her least for a bit , so well played i guess

She's no different from everyone else.  Except that her stupid stunts are caught on camera.  I agree with Jess.  All of us have been losers at one time or another (some of us more frequently/for a longer duration of time than others--and by "us," I mean "me.").  Whatever happened to tolerance?  Live and let live.

What is with jumping all over my comment?  It's my opinion which is the only thing that I am entitled to.

Yes, we've all been looked at as losers in someone else's eyes, but, none of us flaunted or acted that way in front of millions of people, just to make more money. And these are so-called role models for teens and pre-teens?  I can't stand people like that.

We all have opinions about other people, whether some of like to admit it or not.  This is my opinion, on these 2, right now (these days).

I didn't jump all over your post.  I disagreed with you, explained why, and gave my philosophy of life.  Big difference.

I wasn't really jumping all over your post either - you are entitled to your opinion, and I'm not judging you for it. All I'm saying is that I'm not judging her...I was in her mindset before and you can bet that if I had been famous or if all this social media had existed when I was going through my nonsense it would have been plastered on the internet too (not on the scale as Miley Cyrus's, but...) As it was, it was sure the talk of the small town in which I grew up and was living at the time. Back then, I drank often and danced on every stage/bar/table I could find, so what I was saying is that if that's how you define loser, I suppose I was one for a couple of years as well. You probably wouldn't have been able to stand me...or respect me, anyway.

As for them being role models for teens and pre-teens - that's really on the parents of said teens and pre-teens, isn't it? I really don't want my child idolizing celebrities and even athletes anyway and I'm careful about not letting that happen.

I came back to add some of what you said to my post.  It really is up to parents to put life into perspective for their kids.

Great point. She came in with a lot more 'reps' than some of these other kids. Kinda like staying in college an extra year or two before declaring for the draft.

I think we have all shown our a$$ or made an a$$ of ourselves at some point in our lives. Our 15 year old showed ime the youtube  video and even she was like, "ewwww what is she doing and wearing and dear Jesus get her a hamburger or two."
Apparently tennis shoes didnt go with whatever it was she was wearing.

in my opinion (mine only) I think they do this crap to get more attention. They do it, it goes on the internet to be seen by millions more that didn't see it live, the news replays it over and over for days so it's always on and it gives them more recognition. Now if they do this crap and no one gives them the time of day, maybe they'll just go away.
