I made this last night. It was pretty delicious. I also got home at 5:30......and that was after running a couple errands. BAM! By the way, anyone try Trader Joe's Cookie Butter spread? It's God's gift to your taste buds.

OH....and I got this pic sent to me this morning. Try NOT to smile.

Good Morning Q'landers- its calm cool 70 degrees and fall is near, carry on

Howdy Folks,

-Martellus Bennet is one goofy SOB, but he’s our goofy SOB.  Jay Cutty is a giant a-hole, but he’s our giant a-hole.  Kyle Long aka Shrek….he’s just a damn beast – as is B Marsh, Alshon, and Matt “what’s Your” Forte.  Damn, for the first time in my life, the Bears offense is just stupid loaded….like a baked potato.

-Speaking of food, we made Chicken A La Swol last night.  It consisted of a marinated chicken (3 breasteses), a wicked good white-ish cream sauce (w/ cream of chicken soup added), red peppers (crushed and fresh), peas, mushrooms, onions, and crescent rolls.  Hot diggity dog was it crucial.  Made a honky want to pin it on Pininterest…..but I didn’t.  I watched reruns of The Office instead.

- There’s a new grocery store being built behind our place.  It’s slated to open in November, and although it looks to be on track, they are coming in earlier and working later, so I guess not.  Anyhoo, two workers almost came to fisticuffs last night while I was taking out the recycling (go green mofos).  There’s an alley behind our building that connects to another alley between our building and the building next door.  One worker was directing the other worker where to back up with his giant truck and trailer.  Well let’s just say they didn’t see eye-to-eye….if it wasn’t for a third worker, ya boy would have witnessed a good ole fashioned scrap.  F you third worker!

-Have a great day and remember, times change….people change….thank the LAWD voicemail messages do too!

Got my CT Scan results back, from my car accident, and there is definitely something wrong.........with the machine, because they didn't find anything wrong with my brain and we all know that's FALSE!

I have Soft Tissue Swelling/Hemorrhaging, which, for those that are unaware, means, a bump on the head.  frown

Since I have been getting on again/off again minor headaches, stiff necks and dizziness, my doctor is treating it as a mild concussion.  $6600 worth of damage to the car that his insurance is paying for.

BHAWKS opened up the pre-season with a 2-0 shutout over the Red Wings.  Yeah, I know, it's just pre-season, but still cool yes

TMJ stands for Temporomandibular Joint Disorder. Don't ask why I knew that.

It's official. Everyone at the Yard (except those that work for the command where the shooting happened) is to report to work tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.

Since the Seahawks are at home on Sunday, I need a volunteer for the Live Thread this week. Look at Week 2's to see how it works.

Almost forgot, I sat through Dads (cuz I dig Rabissi and Seth) but oy vey was that horrible. Brooklyn 99 was good with a ton of upside imo. New Girl is going to Ally Mc Beal-ish for me and I don't have a GF to make me watch it. Mindy continues to be on point. Mixed reviews for Fox's Tuesday attempt at a 90's style Thursday nigh must-see-TV. I feel like I need to have a first take debate with Jason & Stoney about this.

Hola amigos y amigas!

I'm off today, its 1:30 and I have already begun drinking. It's kinda hot here and I am bored. I am having the same issue with my unemployment, I received no money last week. I tried calling them since 8 am and couldn't get through. The lines closed down at noon.
I didn't realize there was a baby contest going on here...but since there is, this little guy turned 1 yesterday and had his party on Saturday!

I'm not happy with New Girl at all either. Used to love it, but now it's annoying me. I don't know why they had to bring a relationship into it; it worked fine with all of them just being roomies. I watch it for Schmidt's goofy ass now.

IOS 7 is pretty bad ass!  yes

For those of you installing that, they changed the way you force quit your apps.

You still double tap the home button to bring up the apps that are open, but instead of placing your finger on an app and waiting for the little red - , now, you just swipe up on the app (that will appear above the thumbnail version at the bottom.

EX:  You want to swipe up on the FANIQ window to remove and not the IQ (FANIQ) thumbnail at the bottom.

And their backup plan is signing Willis McGahee, if he passes his physical.

Shake Shack is as good as advertised. Well, the burgers anyway.

Right at the end of the appointment the hygienist found a cavity. So close.

I still like New Girl. Brooklyn Nine Nine has potential, as I knew it would. If you watched Dads for any other reason other than the same reason people watch train wrecks, I'm going to look at you sideways. If you watched Dads and enjoyed it, we can not be friends.

It appears Cleveland is giving up already. Richardson was #3 overall drafted last year, they will be lucky to net a middle of the first round pick for him. He will most likely improve with the Colts.

was a joke, yo. I know what lockjaw is...that's lockjaw, right?

anyway.... New Girl fans finally realized how awful New Girl is after watching this premiere. Good. It's bad, and has been since the beginning...not that I can't watch it but it's mostly just a tv on situation. I heard Brooklyn 9-9 wasn't good enough to not be on the season's first cut list. I'm sure people watch because it's Samberg, but it will fail. A 30 min cop show comedy? No. I also heard Dads wasn't as bad as expected... but not really good enough. One of those, it gets one more episode shows, which means I'll give it 5. I really love Ribisi and Seth Green.

Samberg should just do a The Lonely Island tv show.

Did anyone watch Sleepy Hollow yet? I have it dvr'd...along with 2 Suits', 2 Gracelands, Broadchurch, The Mindy Project (which I heard was still right on time. YAY!), Dads, 2 or 3 Ray Donovans, and apparently I need to give Boardwalk Empire another chance so I need to prioritize.

I've actually heard good things about Brooklyn 99. The cast looks good and the people behind the show have been very successful in the business.
Dads looks absolutely awful
I really will be checking both of those pilots out pretty soon, along with about 10-15 other shows in the next week or so. It'll give me something to write about

I completely gave up on SOA when Opie went out. None of the characters are remotely likable to me, except maybe Juice, and I feel like his time is limited. Every single episode would suck me in (drama) and then I'd end up just being ticked off at the end - and not because it was over and I didn't get to watch it until next week...so when what happened happened with Opie, I said "that's it, I'm over it. I'm done." and I am. Trever still watches it religiously but he said even he is kind of just watching it because it's the end of the series and he's invested so much time already, he just wants to see it through. I know a ton of people who still love it though.

I love Suits - I actually wasn't disappointed this season though; I kind of like seeing a softer side of Harvey and Donna both exposed. I was mad at first when he was going after Jessica but it's all good now...and the last episode! Yikes!

I love Ray Donovan...I haven't watched the last few episodes for some reason...I think I was waiting for Trev to catch up (he hasn't even started it yet.)

I can't wait for Grimm to start back up!

the season premier was very powereful (mmm, not sure if that is the right word) it was strong and i liked most of it, but sometimes sutter can carry things to far for my taste
the fact that he isn't to far off from real biker gangs makes me wonder where he gets his "ideas"
i will watch til it leaves the air and then watch it whenever i like cause imma owner

I like Grimm!

No, it's OK television for a tuesday, wednesday or whatever day they have it on now. See this is the trouble with dvr's, i have no clue what day stuff comes on anymore, cause that stupid machine is programmed. (machines taking over the world kinda shiver)

I agree with Ashlie. Suits is fantastic - smart writing, people you love to hate, Harvey's "wha'd you do?" face, Donna...just...Donna...and cutie-pie Rachel. I heart it a lot, and I'm sad we're on hiatus again.
I lost my mind and still haven't found it...

Donna's the only reason I watch.
If you introduce a woman as tough, than by golly gee, keep her tough. I don't want any of that crying shiotz.
Suits was good, it is a train wreck now with the storyline they had. I'm not saying I won't watch, it's just not on my top ten anymore.
Cause PSYCH is AWESOME! (detractors can just stfu already)

Oh I think she'll bounce back after this mess and be even tougher.

The can opener thing is still bugging me.
