Movie Mania 14
I will list 10 of MY 1,786 favorite movies and what I would like you to do is rank them best to worst in order. Simple, right? There is no other option since I only want your opinion on the movies listed. You are welcome to write in some clever Beaneaters option but no one really cares. Also, if you haven't seen ALL or at the very least 7 of the movies, don't vote. Just post something that will make me totally disregard your opinion.

*If your number one doesn't match mine or someone else's, I/we/they/reserve the right to publicly mock you.

So after careful deliberation, I chose my very favorite one...all 9 afterward were just randomly selected - I love all of them equally.

Thr unintentional comedy of National Treasure is a perfect 100/100 (the GOAT!) so I'm not sure if it's #1 or dead last on this list? I need to think on this.
1. Snatch  2. Lucky Number Slevin  3. Big  4. Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels  5. National Treasure  6. The Mexican  7. Red  8. Lean on Me  9. Sherlock Holmes (2009)  10. Salt

YOU have not seen 4 of these movies?! Which ones?

Nyce, you can say that about every Nic Cage movie, it's why I love him. It's also why it's on the list... plus I throw in a few from time to time just to piss Jason_ off.
1. Sherlock Holmes (2009)  2. Lucky Number Slevin  3. Snatch  4. The Mexican  5. National Treasure  6. Red  7. Salt  8. Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels  9. Big  10. Lean on Me

Of all mentioned above- Sherlock Holmes pleasantly surprised me

Snatch and Lock, Stock are the only two movies on this list that NEED to be watched.  National Treasure, Sherlock, and Salt are abominations.

eeeesh. this is awkward. no, i've only seen 4 on this list - big, national treasure (GOAT), red and snatch*

*i haven't actually seen snatch. i have just been lying about having seen it for so long that it feels like i have. (i confuse it with fletch which i love. i wasn't intentionally leading people to believe i'd seen snatch [unless i felt a certain person would berate me for not having seen it {coughjason_cough} in which case, i absolutely lie through my teeth about having seen snatch])

I know, woman. I was suprised that you had seen that many. Damn misuse of inflection, I suppose.

It's pretty much impossible for you to actually lie about seeing Snatch, fyi.

also, no it's not. you say "yeah i've seen it" and then do this:

I haven't seen 4 of those, not sure if I've seen two of other ones, and definitely watched four other ones but can't remember them.

So... I guess my answer to this polls is 'orange curtains'.

I used the RPI (Relative Pop-cultre Index, see the sit com brackets) to rank these. Also SALT sucks.

Hey Jess & Ash, I used my Relative Pop-culture Index (RPI). Sherlock Holmes (good flick) and Salt (kinda meh imo) lack any lasting buzz, quotable stuff or "pop-cultury" scenes or moments. I put them 9 & 10 because all the other movies have parts that we can all quote or reference and pretty much everybody will get it. Sherlock & Salt lack that in comparison to the other films on this list. There was nothing defining about them.

If the list is going to be completely random and all over the place, I will always come up with a common denominator to compare & contrast them. "Snatch vs. Big... debate which one is better!" Wait. Wut? So, that's how I ended up where I did.
1. Snatch  2. Lucky Number Slevin  3. Big  4. Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels  5. National Treasure  6. The Mexican  7. Red  8. Lean on Me  9. Sherlock Holmes (2009)  10. Salt
