It had to happen sometime, but it sucks the Avs lost to the Red Wings. Wings fans rank in the same class of people as Nazi sympathizers and registered sex offenders. But I do feel for them in some aspects. Detroit is like an upscale Sarajevo, but with more feral wildlife running the streets. Now excuse me while I go buy another house in the motor city. For less than a subway footlong, you TOO can become a homeowner in Detroit

This weekend may be rough. I have to be at the airport at 5am on Sunday morning, fly to Phoenix, do some training class for a series of projects I have coming up from 2-7, then do a hands on install from 9pm to 5am, then head back to the airport and head home Monday morning. Then play hockey at 10:30 Monday night. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I probably won't be much of an impact player that night.

In case I don't see you, you crazy kids have a wonderful weekend. Go Broncos, Go America

I recognize the dude in fifth estate or whatever thanks solely to pin interest, which is odd. And, I learned that I've never called his name (in my head) correctly because it is indeed cumberbatch and not cumberpatch. weird.

really nice country white people freak me the f*** out still. nice to my brown self, i mean. it's weird and you'd think it wouldn't be considering my whiteness and love for my pale friends. it's my southernness, i suppose.

also weird that my ginga has another Rog that he misses a lot. alot if you wanna irk jess.

this person i have a huge crush on sometimes makes me wanna slice off a tiny piece of his earlobe. weird.

i would slap hilary clinton for a burger from Ted's right now. weird... cause apparently it's my theme today. roll with it.

you may not get this reference, but jamaal charles.

So... when anyone is sick at my house you are banned to the bedroom and bath only. Rob is the mudder effin germ police. 2 days of no work for me has left me 1. Watching daytime tv. 2. Getting addicted to a phone ap called Fashion Story. 3. Peering out the window for the post lady waiting cormy book to come in the mail. 4. Really bothered by the Allstate Insurance commercial disclaimer "Not available in all states". <<Don't be ridiculous...

Hi!

Everything about this gif makes me giggle..............from the "Professor" in the background (Scrivens) to Carcillo yelling at the sky. (Speaking of Carcillo, he really doesn't like people putting hands on his man Carter.....I get that.)

And.............

Go DODGERS!!!

Oh my gosh, I realize they haven't "won anything yet" but I've never seen 6-1 before and it feels really cool. I love them so much, but they need to hold on to the ball! You know it's sad that every time anybody has the ball, I'm thinking in my head (or chanting) "hold on to it, hold on to it, hold on to it." Ridiculous. RW has 6 fumbles on the year so far. But...if they keep winning despite that, I guess I shouldn't focus on the negative. And now I have something like 10 days before I get to see my boys play again. And it's against the Rams, on the road, which skrres me a bit.

I had Skittles for breakfast today. This is probably part of my problem.

This morning I woke up to this odd noise echoing through the house at 6:00. I tried to ignore it, but it kept up and finally Trever (who sleeps like the dead) got up, went to the bathroom where my daughter was taking a shower, and says "STOP!" and, startled, she yelped and stopped. Apparently she was playing the Cups song in the shower.

Happy Friday,

- Relaxing weekend coming up for yours truly.  Dinner and a movie @ home tonight, lunch/dinner in Rockford tomorrow afternoon for my GF's father's bday, ND/SC at night (we're stopping in the burbs to watch), and the NFL football all day Sunday....after Church of course.

- Dinner last night was a ham casserole w/ peas, onions, shrooms, cheddar cheese, and a killer white sauce (not that kind of white sauce, Nick).  I made my world famous garlic bread.....again.

- Can't wait to see the Colts ruin Peyton's perfect season Sunday night.

- I hate the Blues.  Bunch of nancyboys.

- Ash, I'm buying the shoes you posted yesterday.  Good f****ng call!

- Got invited on a pub crawl in Wrigleyville next Saturday.  It took everything I had in me not to laugh in her face.  I love the Cubs, but hot damn I hate Wrigleyville.  It's like 10,000 Justin Beibers running around with an unlimited supply of Nick's Zima.

- Go Irish, Bear Down, and remember to take you sig-o to pound town.

- over and out

Hola amigos y amigas,

I really don't have much today. I am working (hopefully only part of the day). It's gross people day here. I would share a little story but it was even to ewww for me to handle. Also, did you know that really, really old people still come to their lady doctor? They do! I was surprised.

I'm tired of this one guy on my FB and all his constant posting. Throughout the day I get like 16 notifications on my phone. So I told him he needs to go to twitter. He said he doesn't twit...I said no but you are one...its tweet not twit. Anyways this went on for like 20 minutes when I just changed settings so his posts don't show on my notifications..all is quiet today!!

I am glad it's Friday, I just wish weekends lasted longer...Have a great weekend everyone!

We're going to need to have a talk about this Metropolitan division. The name sucks, the teams suck, everything sucks.

Underrated-"that guy"-run-during-the "golden age of television"-Friday:
Aiden Gillen was 'Mayor Thomas 'Tommy' Carcetti' on the Wire and is 'Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish' on Game of Thrones. Very solid.

(FanFic idea: "Tommy Carcetti: Vampire Hunter")

I made MY Shepherd's Pie last night for dinner.  I made enough for dinner tonight as well, as I work until 7 and the daughter works until 8.  Good thing because there were no leftovers.  Apparently it is really good.

I checked and I can't get the dang shoes here in town, only in the city where I was yesterday.

What day is it?  GAME DAY.  It's Louisville's homecoming and Red Out night.

Today, my friend's little boy was running around, yelling "FEE FO FI" over and over again (He's two.  Who cares if he's saying it backwards?).  He told me he is a giant and I am a giant.  I asked him what I get to say, and he said, "FEE FO GIVE ME FIVE."  Love that kid.

Oh, and

Community is coming back January 2nd, the IndyCar championship event is tomorrow night, and by Sunday night we'll know who's in the World Series. Everything else is irrelevant.

I can put in corn, peas, carrots, broccoli or cauliflower, but my kiddos like it with just corn.  The combination of sharp cheddar cheese with the corn is unbelievable.  I've done it with a combination of all of the above, some of the above, or singles of some of the above, but every time they ask for just corn.  That necessitates a salad as a side, but damn it is so good no one really wants the salad.

It might not be the healthiest thing around, but it is soooo good!!

I just found out this evening that the 16 year old daughter of a friend of mine is in a pretty serious health battle.  Please keep her in your prayers.  She is genuinely one of the sweetest kids I have ever met.
