having my tooth extracted was the funnest thing ever. it was like, extreme anxiousness followed by waiting for drugs to kick in followed by 90 seconds of local anesthesia, followed by 40 seconds of tooth pulling followed by a weekend of binge watching parks and rec between epic naps, eating pudding and annie's bunnymac, and being super duper fuzzy.

i must spend a lot more of my time with my mouth wide open than i knew, because regular use of my face is still painful. and i just don't know what to do with all the extra space from the remodel.

best of all i feel like one of my issues that's seriously making me bonkers crazy is out of the way. now if only i could stop worrying my house is going to get swallowed up in a sink hole, but i asked and dentists don't do that kind of work.

my armchair story from sunday's game is going to be less about the game and more a photographic tale of how close my step-andrew was to jj watt.

lastly, jess i had a dream that you and i decided to meet halfway via walking which landed us somewhere very elevated, snowy and cold. it was fun though. and we came across some arctic sea monster museum together which was really cool. after flamenco dancing, we hand-dyed tom cruise's leather saddle purse as a mean prank, but turned out joke was on us cause he. loved that s**t.

I saw David Beckham at the Kings game. That was my highlight at the game. WAIT......Donna from Parks and Rec was there, too. I like her tweets. The game sucked donkey balls.

4 more days!

You know, you come up with something witty and clever and you get a negative response for it.....Honestly, I don't understand how people think.

Looks like I'm not getting all of Leigh's Respects.........which is perfectly fine with me because we all will continue to laugh from her posts, which is wayyyyy more important and entertaining cool  wink

The Chicago Bears are in trouble......Cutler gone for at least 4 weeks (torn groin), Briggs gone for 4-6 weeks (slightly fractured shoulder)........after a Bye week this coming weekend, we head to GB.......Not a good time to be without your leaders on offense and defense.

Tomorrow night, I am doing something extremely special and hopefully I will be able to post pictures before I leave for Mexico.

Figured with Avs/Pens plus Sharks/Wings on schedule last night that their would be lots of goals scoredcheeky  Two 1-0 games proved me wrong once again.  At least the Avs made 1 of their 12 shots for the game count, unlike the Pens who had like 35 and made 0.  Way to go JS Giguerre.

That craptacular game last night got a 9.6 (that's like a World Series number). This country may need an NFL intervention. I know I do.

Somehow this didn't happen in Florida. A-Town! The link to the local TV station's story is fantastic.

Here's a .pdf of the "NFL's post injury concussion protocol" just in case you bump your head so you can self-diagnose. I wish I had a toddler so I could bombard them with questions every time they got an ouchy on the head.

BTW that site is nothing but fodder for the F-U Rankings. I love reading the release notes after fines and suspensions. It's great!

The Seahawks were forced back to their senses and re-signed Michael Robinson. I'm so friggin excited.

I need to re-watch that game from Thursday so I can write my Armchair article. I'm a slacker.

Why did I have to bring up the iPhone thing? Now I'm teetering again, and I HATE that. I was happy with finally having come to a decision.

The soup last night was good. It will be better next time, when I put bacon or ham in it.

Marcus - I loved that game. You talk about unintentional comedy all the time...that MNF game was a treasure trove.

Just copy & paste my article, but please leave out the parts where I talk s**t about my own team. I'm already in a world of hurt as it is.

I really don't understand it. If last night's game was so bad, why continue to watch it? You might as well tell the NFL "I will watch any piece of crap out there as long as your name is on it."

I also don't understand the popularity of the Walking Dead or Duck Dynasty, but that's a story for another day.

This "mood map" of America seems to have taken over the Internet today. I got Kentucky, which...yeah...

I hate Duck Dynasty...I watched all of about 20 minutes to see what all the hype was about and I just couldn't handle it.

The Walking Dead, however...ZOMBIES! Great special effects, post-apocalyptic craziness, intentional and unintentional comedy, good guys, bad guys, even worse guys, people we love to hate, people we hate to love, violence, drama, it's no Sleepy Hollow, but it's got a little bit of everything and it's amazing.

BUT...you would hate it.

People are people so why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully

So we're different colors
And we're different creeds
And different people have different needs
It's obvious you hate me
Though I've done nothing wrong
I never even met you
So what could I have done

I can't understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand

People are people so why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully

Help me understand

Now you're punching and you're kicking
And you're shouting at me
I'm relying on your common decency
So far it hasn't surfaced
But I'm sure it exists
It just takes a while to travel
From your head to your fist

I can't understand
What makes a man
Hate another man

Help me understand

Went to the doctor today for the results after the tests for the Baker's Cyst.  It burst (which I knew) and there is no residual, but I have arthritis in my knees, hands, shoulders and feet.  It isn't the "okay" kind, my doctor thinks it is the kind where my joints will get huge.  I think I'm in shock kind of.  I go for tests in the morning to confirm, and ensure I don't have Lupus, then see a specialist in a few weeks, when the referral is processed.  My friend Anne also has this arthritis, and we hang out a lot, so when I stop drinking I'll contact her.

Oh yeah, and here's some fun, cuz I needed fun tonight.

I love football.
I love Duck Dynasty.
I love The Walking Dead.

Everything has a bad day, bad ep, bad 15 minutes... some times there's a swing and a miss. I choose to roll with them. Some teams will have no great games, doesn't mean they shouldn't get to see their team. There are parts of my favorite movies that I don't care for but I don't throw the disc out. There are characters that I loathe on some of my shows, but I'm not going to quit it. Sometimes my coworkers suck a** but I don't quit my job. Sometimes bartenders put a lime in my Corona, I don't throw the Corona out. I remember going over to Nyce's once and he was watching something like cricket or field hockey, water polo, idk.. and I was all WTF, and he said "it's the only game on right now"... and I totally got that. If football is on, it's on in my house unless it's college, and even that occasionally but don't tell anyone.
