Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

I didn't know Kris Jenner was the mom. :/
I've had a chuckle fit 3x today already thinking about Charlie and last weeks Always Sunny. Lord.
On my way to MRI.

Have a good day and bring sexy back if you can find the time.

Sloppy Seconds!!!

Morning Q'ers!  Hope everyone is in good "spirits" this Halloween week.  We had a halloween party at home on Saturday night, and the "spirits" were flowing.  Wife and I dressed up as spider webs....we had a big spider on our head, and the body was covered with stringy material.  Niece had a great costume...she came as a jellyfish...

The GREAT team, the RANGERS, beat the Red Wings on Saturday night....they FINALLY have a home game tonight....I'll have to flip between that game and the Rams game, though with Bradford out for the Rams, I think it's gonna be a long night on MNF.

Speaking of football, today's pic has to do with a few brothers who happen to be QB's......

Have a GREAT Monday!!!

Hola People of Da Q,

-‘Twas a good, relaxing weekend.  Friday night ya boy was lounging like a G….napping and all that good stuff.  Saturday was spent watching Notre Dame destroy Air Force, doing the dinner thing with the GF’s folks in the burbs….and more lounging like a G.  Sunday featured lunch, cleaning, and you guessed it…..more lounging like a G.  Gotta love that refreshed feeling on Monday morning.

-Picked all but ONE game right in the Q NFL Pick ‘Em thus far…..and I switched that game at the last moment...damn you Pittsburgh!  However, I also switched the AZ/ATL game at the last moment….so I guess it evened out.  I had a feeling the Cards would pull that one out.  Ash, are you ready to fold the season yet?

-I recently got 142 word on Words With Friends.  I also got two 112 point words.  Yes, I’m gloating.

-The Bears are going to beat the Packers on MNF next week.  You heard it here first, folks.  Nick, you should bring your Zima drinking self to the pub.

Have a FANTASTIC day folks and remember – free nasty beer is better than no beer.

Hi peoples

Only 2 days of work this week, then I'm out of town for a bit of a vacation. I'm going back to Va Beach to visit my brother and my Aryan nephews. My suggestion to dress them in little lederhosen outfits with my brother and I dressed as Goebbels and Himmler was promptly shot down

The Broncos had me pissed off for 2 quarters and 2 minutes. Then the poles realigned and the world was right again. Everyone keeps pointing at the Broncos schedule when looking at their record, but nobody mentions that about the Chiefs. It doesn't matter anyway, you play who's on your schedule.
The bye week couldn't come at a better time though.. Need to get guys healthy before a tough 4 game stretch

How weird has this World Series been? I love it and so does my beard.

In case you haven't seen, the Avalanche are 10-1

and in honor of a great, here's one of my favorites..

Um, the rest of you fools may not have noticed, but when you lose 20 people in the first 2 games and the other 39 are injured and on their way to the IR, you kinda know to call it quits then. I knew it by game 2. Go Falcons! :/

Julian Jones doesn't play for us. Julio does though...well not for the rest of the season. *sigh* *sigh* I was gonna answer you, but I really don't want to relive it all. p.s. everyone talks about those 2, but the D is what's entirely useless without their leaders.

Anyway, thanks for depressing me.
The Voice is so very good. Battle rounds were great. (it tickles and angers me how NBC is using it to fill timeslots...wtf are these recap shows for besides ratings? nbc is dumb, in general, I hate them) Anway, the Voice, I just love it, and I'm excited about this year's new twist. Early favorite? The dude whose dad played with or sang in Chicago, and that chick with the sexy island accent, tessanne, i think. Also, I heart Ryan Tedder a little bit more now.

the boy was on his period this weekend, so we fought from friday night until we got to a concert saturday night and were still pretty raw on sunday. so i was gonna be all cutesy this afternoon and send him this:

but then i was like "f**k that noise." this:

which i gagged at like eleven times cause for some reason i always end up making those during lunch. (by the way, there's a new hard-to-use app with super gross tools now)

i started something last night i have been trying to stop myself from doing for weeks. i started watching "beware of the bitch in apartment b" and sure enough. i love the s**t out of it. and there's only one season. why do bad things happen to good people?

A) I love veiled shots at bandwagon fans
B) what is an experienced Seahawks fan's confidence level going into games? (I tend to go into every game with a sense of impending doom. except for games against the Jaguars and Raiders)

After years and years and years of the Seahawks
a) p***ing early leads down their legs
b) losing games they should win, and
c) being awful on the road

...those of us who have been around awhile don't even consider the opponent (even JX - in fact people were laughing at me because I thought the Jags might beat us.). We think there's always a possibility the Hawks could easily blow it and don't count any matchup as a win until the final whistle. We're not necessarily defeatists...we're more realists. We hope, and we recognize that we have a better team now than even the 2005-06 SB team (offensive line excluded) and have the potential to beat almost anyone in the league - but we also know we have the potential to lose to anyone in the league. I realize the past couple of years have been different, and RW is a whole different type of QB than we've ever had, but it's going to take more than a couple of years to shake the bad memories and lift that confidence level.

For years, the Seahawks were where the Mariners are now. I saw a tweet the other day that I almost RT'd - "When I die I want the Mariners to be my pallbearers so they can let me down one final time." Pretty much sums up what it feels like to be a Seattle fan...and the Hawks have been a part of that most of my life.

Pittsburgh Whiskey Festival was awesome and remains my favorite night of the year. The only bad part is that I ended up puking all over our hotel bathroom, but luckily I don't remember doing it, and thanks to such vomit, I didn't feel that bad on Saturday morning.

Love this article. Anyone who says baseball is dying based on TV ratings now is wrong.

That said, I wish we had more baseball fans around here. Right now it's just me, Pat, Scott, a guy who wants every player drug tested and under surveillance 24/7, and a guy who still thinks it's 2003 when it comes to hating stat people.

Somebody stole a whole mess of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon (It's ultra-rare, expensive, and really good).  Turns out, a high school principal is a person of interest in this case.  He is a fine example for kids in this state.  I'm just glad he stole the good stuff instead of making young people think Old Forrester is prime bourbon.  That's all I've got for now.  It's Monday, ffs.

Started reading THe Witches by Roald Dahl aloud in class today. After reading the first two chapters, one of my boys asked me if I was a witch? (If you read it, you'd get the question.)

This lead to his table mate saying........."THat's messed up." To which I whispered........"I'll never tell. Is my tongue blue?" (In the book, it  says that witches have blue spit. I sucked on a blue jolly rancher before reading)

I love Mr. Dahl.

Nah she'll trade me. She doesn't get any of the candy we buy to pass out unless she trades me piece-for-piece. And I bought Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, Laffy Taffy, Starburst, Life Saver Gummies, Gobbstoppers, SweetTarts Chews (or is it SweeTarts?) and something else I'm forgetting...so she has a lot to choose from. Plus, she loves me. Even if I am mean.

Also, for the kids we know, we hand out king size candy bars. I also always give candy to the parents who are out traipsing around with their kids. They deserve it.
