F/E Weekend 11/2
Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

Hiii. I'm crabby, but I'm also about to start drinking. I'll be around...

Go teams.

How is it every year I get sucked into the Breeders' Cup? At least this year I blame these listless football games.

Very proud of one of my best friends today.  She ran a marathon in Indianapolis to raise money for the Sandy Hook Foundation.  She's an inspiration to me.  Here is her inspiration to finish:

Haaaaiiiiiiii smiley

Wathing NASCAR today, and following the Redskins game of course.

Cooking a roast of beef tonight and of course, now that my daugther is working at a ranch, and has helped with herding the cattle, rescuing lost calves and tending to cows in creeks, she no longer thinks she likes beef.

It's gonna be a long day.
Pierced Fuzzy Navel, please....

Good Evening, Everybodee!

I has a dryer again.   Had a broken belt.  About 6 bucks (including shipping) from Amazon after finding the correct model #.  (It's an older model).   About an hour labor (I had never taken one apart before...after a false start, took the back panel off and found not motor, I had to find a video online.  Aha!)    Now we don't have to walk 3 blocks to nearby laundromat and spend a couple bucks each visit.  Yay!

Band had their first competition Saturday.   We were shy a few parent volunteers.   We were expecting to have 5 parents to help.  As usual, only I showed up.     Not being taken down to the field soon enough, by the time we got all our stuff to the field, we were already in the process of starting.    I followed them out onto the field, slipping in the process.  (I ended up running over my foot, severely bruising my left little toe.)    When I got the the center position with the cart, they announced we had one minute left.  Oy.  We barely set up on time, scrambling off the field.

Not great enough, or else I wouldn't be limping now, but thanks. I do what I can.
