That Pats-Cats game last night. Probably the best Monday Night game in years if memory serves me correctly (which it rarely does).
Today's thoughts
*Good win by the Panthers. I'm curious to see them play the Saints
*I'm feeling a little better about next week's Broncos - Pats game
*Penalties in the NFL are a crapshoot. Even if the last play wasn't pass interference, there have been about 7,238 instances of illegal contact a lot less blatant that have been called this year.
*Tom Brady live F bomb was awesome
*Bill Belichick press conferences after a loss may be the #1 must see TV we have since Breaking Bad is gone. Why the hell NFL Network did not stay all the way til the end is beyond me. That post-game group they have is f**king awful
*Praise be to Ahmad Brooks for not backing down
*I can't remember the last time I watched a network TV show on actual TV and not Hulu

Hmmm. Time for a song.
One of my favorite songs ever, and yes I did have Rubberneck on cassette

Toadies - Tyler

And she runs through her days with a smile on her face
And she runs, and she waits, and I wait

We can drive to anyplace, day or night, to cross the state
And in the morning, into Mexico, we will wake up
yeah, we will wake up, we will yeah yeah, and I will
be with her yeah

I find a window in the kitchen, and I let myself in
Rummage through the refrigerator, find myself a beer
I can't believe I'm really here, and she's lying in that bed
I can almost feel her touch, and her anxious breath!

I stumble in the hallway, outside the bedroom door
I hear her call out to me, I hear the fear in her voice
She pulls the covers tighter, I press against the door

I will be with her tonight!

Hiiiii Ashlie.

It is an absolutely lovely day today. The sunny is shining, the Holiday season is upon us, and the meds are working.

Hiiiiiii  Cecil.

Well, the sun is shining here as well, but, it's 36 degrees.  And, I ran out of meds, can you send me some?

BTW - I went and saw the Jackass - Bad Grandpa movie over the weekend……..save your $$……either see it during the matinee times (cheaper) or wait until it hits Cable. It definitely had it's funny parts, but, this is more of a storyline movie and not just a bunch of funny skits like the other Jackass movies.

I know Sid and some others are EXTREMELY happy that NE lost last night, but, can someone explain to me how this is not a penalty?  Personally, I had nothing invested in it, besides wanting the NFC team to lose to help my Bears chances at making it as a Wild Card team come playoff time.

Hey, it's New England. I didn't see a thing. I get where the Refs' heads were at on this one.

So before I had fully committed to a phone I wanted (I still kinda wanted to go to a big Verizon store in Seattle and shop), my husband ordered me a brand new phone...and I must admit, I'm thankful he just made the decision for me because OH EM GEE is this phone amazing. It's so pretty...it's slimmer and the same width as my little Droid...and it does so many cool things...I had one of the first gen iPhones and I'm kinda mad at myself for being so resistant to going back to them when Verizon first got them. I had discovered the physical keyboard and google nav and fell in love and got stuck. Now that I don't need nav anymore (got one in my car finally) I just need to deal with the damn touchscreen keyboard.

I know it's bad form to talk about xmas here before Thanksgiving, but I have to say...I finished my shopping already! Kiernan's getting a Pandora bracelet, so I just ordered the chain and all the beads separately over the past couple of months and then all she asked Santa for was a couple of movies and a membership to National Geographic's little Animal Jam kid game site. All done with everything except the mister, but I already know what I'm getting him.

mmmmm coffee.

Agree on NFL penalties, especially after what seemed like 15-20 defensive holding calls in KC/Denver game.  For all the talk, I still say the Broncos got a lot of momentum after causing the Chiefs to fumble one play after a fumble of our own gave the Chiefs the ball inside our 30.  Praying for a full recovery for Rahim Moore after his very serious and supposedly somewhat life threatening injury.http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/broncos/2013/11/18/broncos-rahim-moore/3631147/

I need a thrift store personal shopper.  I have 0 patience.    When you eventually visit here for spring training Astros/Marlins style,
I will take you to the Goodwill in Palm Beach (all designer) and the one by my house, which is seemingly full of clothes for very short people.    There are several thrift stores on the island.   I just Ebay and if it doesn't fit I relist it or give it away.

Also, thanks for the Great Dane post.  cheeky

My bosses cancer is back en force.  25% bigger than it was 1 month ago.  She is not going to seek treatment and it is really sad
watching her suffer while her daughter gets some kind of sick joy out of it.    I. Hate. Her.   Stressing me out,  I can't sleep and eating not so much.  Somehow,   I am still not smoking..22 days.  Woot!!

Good Afternoon, Everybodee!

Here I am, minding my own business, when I end up getting a cold.    Who wants it?  The quickest way to get rid of a cold is to give it to someone else, and with the holidays coming up, I'm feeling generous.

I'm done Christmas shopping and I haven't even started!!!  That's because everyone in my family has a heart that is two sizes too small.  I have a friend whose son has severe medical problems and is having to take A LOT of unpaid time off for his medical care.  I'm sure I will either buy him a toy and/or give her some money to help cover her living expenses.
