Welcome back. This is the part of the locker room where you can sit and chat and chill for a while without offending or being shushed. Maybe you wanna watch a dvd or listen to your mp3. Yes, I rhymed. Something on your mind, post it! Random question, ask it? Hijacking is allowed and encouraged. Join the party, troll around, have a beer. It's cool. All are welcome, but please leave all BS in the hall.

I learned that I can now play my spotify playlists on my kindle/phone/whatever without having the paid susbscription. And that was pretty much the highlight of my yesterday. Besides seeing Psych record. YAY! And, the Krampus ep of Grimm was so very great. Krampus is the best.

i'm going to die. the heat isn't working and i'm not dressed right for today anyway cause i slept in and my ride was on time, so i didn't get to plan well and i've been hugging my space heater between my knees so it blows on my face and arms and this is what i've been working for and paying for and hurting for all my life...frozen to death at my work desk, probably left wide open on the "everything" page of pinterest. oh god.

every time i think this is the day i die of cold, i think of this story:

i'm hopefully buying a car tomorrow! if i don't die.

Hopefully when I die, it's more cut/dry than obviously Ray Price's is.  Sad when someone dies, but then really doesn't.  Unfortunately Peter O'toole really did die Saturday.  Great actor over a very long career.  I also have come to understand that the only team in the NFL who isn't mediocre in 2013 is Seattle.  In the NFC you have Saints, Panthers, 49ers, Cardinals and the 2 winnerswink of the NFC East/North fighting to see who gets to lose to the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game, while in the AFC Denver, Kansas City, New England, Cincinnati and Indy are fighting to see who loses the AFC Championship at home to some un yet known #6 seed that will undoubtedly pull off the Super Bowl upset of the Seahawks to win the 2013 Mediocre Bowl.

Luda! Listen...
You ain't even gotta text me
Knowin' me and you got that mental telepathy
Meet me up at the spot,
I'll be sending over the chauffeur
Rich ***** bread, stay poppin' up like a toaster
Nobody come close to me and you together
Step under my umbrella, we’ll make it through any weather
Except when I make it storm, sex in the greatest form
And hibernate under my body
Yep, I keep it warmer than a chinchilla
She know I beat it up like the thriller in Manila
Flying my private jet to villas in Anguilla
Then throw you on a grill
Cause seven days a week you’re my 5 course meal
For real!

Baby, tonight's the night I let you know
Baby, tonight's the night we lose control
Baby, tonight you need that, tonight believe that
Tonight I'll be the best you ever had

I don't wanna brag, but I'll be
The best you ever had
I don't wanna brag, but I'll be
The best you ever had

GALE SAYERS!! (I am THIRD!!)

RAMS WIN!!!! RAMS WIN!!! (Sorry SId....New Orleans just can't play in St. Louis for some reason).  The Rams MIGHT finish 8-8 this year....home game against Tampa Bay and road game at Seattle, who is probably gonna rest their starters...so Jeff FIsher (aka "Coacho Ocho" for his record in Tennessee of winning around 8 games a year) will live up to his moniker.  Considering that Bradford went down in week 7, and Clemens has been improving since....I think the Rams will be OK for the next few years.

RANGERS win!  After falling behind 2-0, and again 3-2, Rangers had their first shootout of the year, and won it with a nifty goal in the 6th round.  Nice.

Cold Monday here....only got rain in this part of the state on Saturday.  Sun is shining, wind is less...not too bad.  Christmas decoration is complete!

Here's today's pic...enjoy...

Enjoy!!!

It's now been 38 minutes since I last posted, all of the Heisman winners over the age of 50 have fallen asleep keeping warm under either Johnny Rodgers hat or Mike Rozier's and yet we still have roughly 22 minutes longer for Jameis Winston to prepare his winner's speech.  Did anyone actually think someone else would win this Award?  Why make it a one hour ceremony, when their is so little drama?

How was everyone's weekend?

Who hasn't finished their Christmas shopping?  I am officially done....I just had 2 more things to get and got that done on Friday. Most of my shopping was done online, with the exception of a TV that I bought for my son and a gift card that I bought for my niece.  I can really get on board with this whole Internet shopping!  yes

How about that Jameis Winston kid winning the Heisman.......thoughts?  I'm indifferent on who I thought should have won it.....I was rooting for the Northern Illinois QB (Jordan Lynch).

The Bears keep their playoff hopes alive, but, as Doug mentioned, whomever wins the NFC North will lose in the first round to either CAR or SF or NO (who ever the Wild Card teams are).

The Blackhawks got smoked on Saturday in Toronto, but, came home last night to beat the RED HOT LA Kings.

Making my homemade Garlic Breaded Shrimp dish tonight with Brown Rice and Asparagus.  Can't wait to pee afterwards!  frown  P.U!

Halo,

-Friday night was spent cooking dinner, packing, and throwing snowballs at my a**hole neighbor.

-Saturday was spent driving thru a snowstorm to Michigan, shopping, having and early bday dinner with friends, playing poker, and bar crawling at some old sports from college.  ‘twas a grand ole time.

-Sunday was spent driving home thru a partial snowstorm, watching Da Bears, and having a dinner challenge w/ the GF.  The rules were:  we could purchase only 4 items from the grocery store and use anything we already had at home.  Mine consisted of ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, lasagna noodles, homemade Alfredo sauce, sautéed gourmet mushrooms, mozzarella chizzle, crescent rolls, salt/pepper, and an array of spices.   I declared myself the winner.

-Nick, have you gone into any Dominick’s?  We went to the one on Lincoln just north of Foster and it was a madhouse.  I almost dropped some bows on some folks.

JD - I go to the one on Ridge and Pratt.....yeah, it's like Wal-mart on a weekend with the closing out sales.....nuts-o!
Are you heading out for the Bears - Eagles game next Sunday night or staying in due to having to work on Monday?

I meant to email you to see if you wanted to meet up for the game, yesterday, but, forgot with all of crap I've been doing lately.....and it looks like you were out of town anyways.

Oh yeah, did any of you hear about the Promotion that some Seattle Car Dealership did that backfired?

Jet Chevy planned to pay out $35,000 each to 12 lucky winners if the Seahawks shut out the Giants.

Way to go Eli and the Giants!

PS - The Cowboys suck really, really bad and their entire coaching staff should be fired.

Not sure what we're doing for the game yet.  If we go out, it'll be to the same spot most likely.  Let's talk about it later this week when we'll have a better idea.  Yeah, we left Michigan after the 1st quarter because the neighborhood my buddy lives in is VERY hilly and the roads weren't very well paved.  I was worried about getting stuck so we left early.  It's kind of fun listening to games on the radio once in a while.  Jeff Joniak is the man!

Krampus was amazing! Football was amazing! Hockey was amazing! Psych musical was pleasantly surprisingly amazing!

I had an excellent weekend. I slept most of the day on Saturday. Yesterday I was up entirely too early for a Sunday (I hate east coast games) but my guys made it worth it. Well the defense (+ Eli) did.

I went to the Christmas bazaar yesterday after the game on my way home from the store. They had a ton of Seahawks stuff there, so of course I spent money I don't really have on some presents that are perfect to come from Santa's Workshop. I even got a surprise for the mister. OMG I can't wait.

This week is Kiernan's last week of school, and my husband is off now until the 30th. It'll be awesome, but I'm just waiting for him to start harassing me. Sometimes he forgets that even though he has the day off, that doesn't mean I do too. Next week is gonna be interesting, with BOTH of them. I'll have to send them off together.

(Edit because I forgot a word)

Let's see here...
Company christmas party was on Saturday night. Spent a lot of money, got extremely sh&tfaced, there was a fight between the boyfriends of my office staff twins, and at the same time, there was a fight at the same place the floor above us at THAT christmas party. Glorious. Except for the day long hangover yesterday.

Thank you to the Patriots for following the Broncos lead and laying an egg this week

was ANYBODY shocked Cincy lost last night?

I need to find that christmas list poll. I was gonna post the list I sent J which I'm pretty sure she took as a joke. It was in fact real and my feelings were hurt

my brother went and had his family xmas pictures taken this weekend. This was one of my favorites

RIP Tom Lauflin. Aka Billy Jack. "I'm going to put This foot on That side of your head" favorite quote. Sounds kind of dirty if you haven't seen the film. I got a pedi/mani yesterday and the techs started arguing in Vietnamese. I'm pretty sure that I now know what the fox says. Making banana bread. Mmm smells good.

This is the least cranky I've been in December in many many years. Now, don't get me wrong, I still don't believe in anything Xmas in any way, nor do I think people being nice in December means they are any less selfish, stupid, and mean as a whole. But hey, less cranky!

I hope all the typing I've been doing lately is why my right thumb is twitching, or else this won't end well.

I find that people tend to be less nice in December, overall.

Hola amigos y amigas,

I'm excited! Next week I will be in the finals of my fantasy football league(not any of the ones from here), I will either be $200 richer or $350!! Go me! Oh and btw, I am playing my daughter's team, we are the only two girls in the league, and we will finish 1st and 2nd!

I don't have much else really. Been extremely busy at work, all the ladies have to have their vagina's checked before the New Year I suppose. My life after work has been hectic lately too.

Hope everyone is doing well, and is ready for Christmas. I am almost ready I just need 2 more gifts to buy. :) That's it for now...enjoy your evening!!
