we've been taping all of the blacklists in good faith and since the sports world was barren last night, we binge watched a few. the husband is hot but the whole role reversal thing they're throwing at me is really bugging me. he actually stopped going down on the main character because he could tell something was on her mind and he wanted her to talk about it presently. he really is such a wiener. he's handling the adoption process - going to interviews and ultrasounds and form signings - while she is out kicking ass around the clock and drinking mystery distilled liquor with public enemy #1 (her dad) and when she comes home, hubby is picking out paint colors and eating chinese takeout on the bare floor under their lamp named ike....just like they did their first night in the house.

the first few episodes i was all

but now i am over it and don't understand how the main girl can stand being married to that needy dude. i mean seriously. he was sending her texts while she was at work (she works for the fbi. come on tom.) saying "call me right now. we need to talk."  i'm so over it, tom. please be some double-life bad guy assassin or something more than just a beautiful, caring, 4th grade social studies teacher.

p.s. i made that gif. and i am going to make so many more.

p.p.s oh yeah, and the actual show is ok i guess. it's one of those crimey, new case every episode, so it's pretty methodical and very predictable. but entertaining! i like when james spader giggles.

Oh, I finished season 1 of The Wire.
The kids didn't have to go back on their first day back yesterday due to weather, so thank goodness they went back today. My child's first words this morning were "Soon as I get back home, imma take a nap." :/ Nope.
The Mindy Project was really good last night. Bro doctor and that sweater were wearing me out. Dads and Brooklyn nine nine are still awful.
Happy Psych Day!!

Yeah Mindy was totally on point. It's sooooooo underrated. BKN 99 is too much of a "niche" hit or miss show for a network. It should be on FX or FXX. Dads is one of the worst shows in the history of television. New Girl has gone completely off the rails. Too touchy feely. Meh. Hannah Simone is ridiculously pretty though.

It's weird that those FOX sitcoms picked up the two best guys from Happy Endings (forcing Wayans Jr. back into New Girl *nah* and adding Pally to Mindy *has legs*). I feel like the Schmidt guy from NG needs a new vehicle as well.

The Wire season 2, -----> "Ziggy"

Nyce, I didn't even bother to mention New Girl for that reason. I only like Schmidt. The show has gotten so blatantly horrid, he stands out now somehow. Hard to explain since he was always been odd and funny but now it's just.... "wow, he's too good for this show". My sister watches that block in my room, I only watch Mindy and hate listen to the rest. I would occasionally look up at the sound of Terry Crews and Andre Braugher but not at all last night. But it's okay because Fox is premiering 157 new shows over the next 6 mos.

oh, Ziggy...hmm. does d'angelo die violently in prison? cause if not, bump this show, i've hated him since ep 1, scene 1 and it just kept getting worse.

Im not going to spoil anything for you, cause really there are more than just him reasons to watch, but they did a salute to  Elmore Leonard (he was the writer for the show, he died in August) and anyway, Timothy had his hair loose, not slicked back ooohhh my goodness, i swear i drooled.

Pipe broke last night!  I was getting ready to run out to the store and as soon I walked into my garage I saw a waterfall coming down from the ceiling.  Turned off all water and was without any water until an hour ago when my landlord came over with his maintenance guy to repair the pipe.  ugh….

Here is a cool picture of what Chicago has looked like lately………today it is 17 degrees and it feels like 5 (windchill) which is 32 degrees warmer than Monday and 50 degrees warmer with the windchill.

[ Refrain 1 ]
2 trailer park girls go round the outside
round the outside, round the outside
[ Repeat Refrain 1 ]

[ Refrain 2 ]
Guess whos back [ echo ] , back again [ echo ]
Shadys back [ echo ] , tell a friend [ echo ]
Guess who's back [ 8 times ]
[ Verse 1 ]
I've created a monster, cuz nobody wants to
see Marshall no more they want Shady I'm chopped liver
well if you want Shady, this is what I'll give ya
a little bit of w**d mixed with some hard liquor
some vodka that'll jumpstart my heart quicker then a
shock when I get shocked at the hospital by
the Dr. when I'm not cooperating
when I'm rocking the table while he's operating
you waited this long now stop debating cuz I'm back,
I'm on the rag and ovulating
I know that you got a job Ms. Cheney but your
husbands heart problem's complicating
So the FCC wont let me be or let me be me so let me see
they tried to shut me down on MTV but it feels so empty without me
So come on and dip, bum on your lips f**k that,
cum on your lips and some on your t*ts and get ready
'cause this s**t's about to get heavy
I just settled all my lawsuits F**k
YOU DEBBIE!

[ Chorus X2 ]
Now this looks like a job for me so everybody just follow me
cuz we need a little controversy,
cuz it feels so empty without me

[ Verse 2 ]
Little hellions kids feeling rebellious
embarrassed, their parents still listen to Elvis
they start feeling the prisoners helpless,
'til someone comes along on a mission and yells "bitch"
A visionary, vision is scary, could start a
revolution, pollutin the air waves a rebel
so let me just revel an bask, in the fact
that I got everyone kissing my ass
and it's a disaster such a catastrophe for you to see
so damn much of my ass you ask for me?
Well I'm back [ batman sound ]
fix your bent antennae tune it in and then I'm gonna
enter in and up under your skin like a splinter
The center of attention back for the winter
I'm interesting, the best thing since wrestling
Infesting in your kids ears and nesting
Testing "Attention Please" feel the
tension soon as someone mentions me
here's my 10 cents my 2 cents is free
A nuisance, who sent, you sent for me?

[ Chorus X2 ]

[ Verse 3 ]
A tisk-it a task-it, I'll go tit for tat with
anybody who's talking this s**t that s**t.
Chris Kirkpatrick you can get your ass kicked
worse than them little Limp Bizkit bastards, and Moby
you can get stomped by Obie, you 36 year old bald headed f*g b**w me
You don't know me, you're too old let go its
over, nobody listens to techno
Now lets go, just give me the signal I'll be there
with a whole list full of new insults
I've been dope, suspenseful with a pencil ever since
Prince turned himself into a symbol
But sometimes the shit just seems, everybody only wants to discuss me
So this must mean I'm disgusting, but its just me I'm just obscene
Though I'm not the first king of controversy
I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley,
to do Black Music so selfishly
and use it to get myself wealthy (Hey)
there's a concept that works
20 million other white rappers emerge
but no matter how many fish in the sea it'd be so empty without me

Since we don't get the harsh weather the rest of the country is, I wanted to see if there was something I could do, to put all this into perspective.

So at lunch, I went ahead and got the strawberry frosty shake from Wendy's.  Due to the warm temperature, it started melting faster than I wanted. As a result, I ended up eating much faster than I had originally intended.  I mean, who wants to drink the melted remains.  The brain freeze I ended up was gnarly.  So for all of you out there, I just want to let you know, I feel your pain.  I'm there with you.

(I did warm up, so I just might have to get another shake to you know...be there with you.)

And you need to check to make sure your engine is still there.

(you'd think after more than ten years you'd have a sense of humor about holding the all time single-season sack record. touchy.)

So, my blood work came out well...except for really low Vitamin D levels. I looked it up and while it was finding foods that are high in it, apparently the big thing with Vitamin D is exposure to sun. Whoops.

Leigh, no gif's about Biggio just missing out on the Hall of Fame?
