So much madness between all 4 games, but I think this was the funniest play.

The best part is Cam Newton's flop after he gets patted on the back.

I laughed when he did that yesterday. He must hang out with some soccer players that taught him how to flop so dramatically with  hardly being touched. Pansy!

Looking forward to another 'action packed' week.
Brady- Manning tangle once again! (4th time),  Very impressed with Patriots 43-22 win, especially LeGarrett ran thru Colts 4TDs.

Been doing great w/NFL bets, real bad w/college hoops 'Duke Blue Devils were frozen solid',also #13. 13-3 Illinois could throw the ball in the ocean, losing 47-43 last night. That accounted for 100 losses.
7 or 8 NBA games tonight,Take your pick!

Ash,

I am also trying that 52 week Money plan, but, I'm doing it in reverse (starting with $52, week 1, and going lower each week).  I figured, if I have the $$ now, best to put it away, because, as the year goes on, things might come up in which I won't have that extra $$ to put away.

Good luck!  From other friends that have done it, that are as rich as us (indecision), they say it's tough and to not give up on it.

Happy Monday (yeah right), Q!

My 16yr old had his girlfriend spend the weekend.  I am sooo happy that he is with her….She keeps him flying straight and won't put up with his bad habits, that he had when he moved in with me……I mean, I won't either, but he doesn't care what his parents think…….anyway, here is a cute picture of them from Saturday.  Just wish she could get him to dress better.

Yesterday afternoon, I was able to get last minute tickets to the Hawks game, so my kid and I went….Hawks beat Edmonton 5-3, even thought Patrick Kane scored in his own goal. I've never seen this happen before.  There was a delayed penalty being called on EDM, so we pulled our goalie for the extra attacker and Kane tried to send the puck back to the point but our D-Man went to the bench for a line change and the puck trickled all the way back into our zone and into our net for a goal.

i watched (more like listened to) weird tv while stitching the oregon trail thing. i watched bob's burgers and archer after a long hiatus and totally forgot it's the same voice. and then i watched something called "prince avalanche" which was like a more boring version of napoleon dynamite (yeah.) but somehow more enjoyable. it's one of those where i'll never actually decide if i liked it or not. the chase scene was great, i gotta give it that. maybe even better than the one from human centipede.

golden globes - oh no! i missed what could have been the first time i ever watched these.

santa brought the boy and me a little machine that we tried out on friday and now, most affectionately, refer to as "date night 3000." i was in such a great mood on saturday morning that i actually walked to the grocery store which is 2.6 miles away just to get some good sounding coffee (chocolate raspberry torte - omg) while we had plenty of kona still. not only did i walk to kroger, but i danced through the store as well and all the way home. (rusted root radio on pandora is the balls).

you know what else is the balls? texans. i don't know what they're doing but it excites me. and while i'm on football, i'd like to say that i reeeeeeally really hate the 49ers. and not because they're good. it's because of that a-hole coach. and now i feel bad for harshly judging the lion's wienerhead coach when he got mad at harbaugh last year or whenever that was. i get it now, man and i'm sorry you got fired and i'm sorry i will always have you pegged as a wienerhead for that move even though now it makes sense.

we went through some old boxes this weekend and found a program from a play jon was in in college with his roommate alan tudyk; a copy of "shoeless joe" by w.r.kinsella which touts it's upcoming silver screen production starring kevin kostner and corn; the owner's manual for the original atari; and the 1978 sports almanac which i immediately went all "i! can't! drive! FIFTY-FIVE!!" and i thought to myself....jesus this guy is old.

OMG you guys.

Sunday was awesome. I got to sign the next 12th Man flag they'll be using in the stadium somewhere. I also got to shake hands with Walter Jones. And that was all BEFORE the game! I wasn't 100% happy with the way the Seahawks played. Of course, that also had something to do with their opponents as well. Great team, and I'm surprised and excited to have gotten past them. Now I'ma whole bundle of nervous energy all over again. They need to step it up this weekend.

I need to go pick up my new bow at some point this week.

I will agree in part on the part about the 4 best teams playing in the NFL playoffs, however would have been nice to see how the 2nd half of the 49ers/Panthers game played out if the ref's hadn't totally messed up the 1st half.  If you take away the td right before the half, (yes it was a catch) however 12 men in huddle should have made it from the 6 yard line, not the 1 and their's no guarantee they score from their.  I truly believe the 49ers talk more smack than any team left in the playoffs, and for once I truly hope Sherman and the always talking Seahawk secondary finally knocks them out the playoffs.  Colin K may be one of the most gifted qb's in the league, and possibly better than even Wilson and Luck when all is said and done, but please show one ounce of dignity, if not for the other players in the league, at least for what is normally one of the most respected franchises in the history of sports.

I don't know if you guys saw, but the Broncos won yesterday

And thank you to a buddy who posted this on Facebook yesterday that I totally forgot about. Go Broncos

Friday night was good, went to the Avs game, had good seats, but 2 things drove me nuts. 1, the Avs actually lost to the Islanders. And 2, there was a group of New York douchebags sitting behind us. I was really hoping for a puck to come into the stands that I could miss on purpose, screen them from seeing it and cause severe facial injuries. No such luck.

Side note, my buddy and I were convinced the new scoreboard screen is clearer than real life. It really is majestic

lol - they actually limited tickets to 6 states - Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and Hawaii...as well as British Columbia I guess. It doesn't even matter though. They were sold out almost immediately, and most of those probably went to brokers like StubHub, who will sell at an elevated price to whomever.

I took this Sunday - it's not super awesome quality but it gave me goosebumps. (Of course, that might have been the cold rain and wind too.)

(My jersey is HUGE, and hanging from my boobies as well as being layered over a hoodie and 2 other shirts, makes me look ginormous as well. Ick.) I saw something about him being there on FB a couple of days before, so I remembered to take my #71 jersey for him to sign. Now I have to frame it and buy a new one to wear.

Also, this is Mr. & Mrs. Seahawk (seriously, they got married on the 50 yard line in the Kingdome, and they changed their last name to Seahawk.) and I can't remember what they call the other guy (with the mohawk). Next game I've got my sights set on Mama Blue and Big Lo.

Note to self: Never try and go to bed after watching a documentary on Jonestown.* It's hard to sleep after that.

* The f-ed up thing it was a doc on H2 (which should've been a clue) that had *reenactments.* The guy playing Jim Jones looked more than Andy Samberg than Jones.**

** No, I don't know why Jonestown fascinates me as much as it does.

I'd say something about the Cubs new mascot, but all the comparisons to Poochie are too perfect. No need to add anything else.

All day at work Saturday you were on my mind.  I couldn't concentrate and I kept sneaking off whenever I was allowed to check the score (a whole twice) and the first time it was 13-0.  My co-worker is a Seahawks fan, so I told her the score and made her happy.  The second and last time I was allowed to check it was 16-0.  I was feeling a little mischievous, and walked up to her with a sad face, looking all worreid and upset.  She looked at my face and went "Oh no, oh no, oh no!!! Do not have that look on your face!!!! NO NO NO NO NO!!!"

I waited.  I waited more.  I waited again.

Then I said "I'm so very sorry".

Another beat.

I said "It's only 16-0 now".

She threw a pen at me.
